Provider used a product (that I purchased for him) he recommended claiming it was one he used all the time. He and his assistant spent nearly 6 hours doing the job (which most professionals do in 2hours or less) and the results were terrible. The basic problem is that he did not follow the instructions properly as he should have added bleach to the product as indicated on the label of the product. Hence the mold and mildew did not come off the roof without the bleach added and you can't power wash a roof so it is still there. It did come off the siding but only because he used the power washer, but, there is no preventive for recurrence since the bleach was not used. When I contacted him about the problem, he became very agitated stating the we lied about the size of the house. He said it was bigger than we said it was (which is not true). So my response to him was "when you drove up to my house, why didn't you say something before you started the work?". He never said a word about it while on the property. After a long conversation with many accusations going back and forth, he finally agreed to call me on Monday, 2 days later, to tell when he would be coming to remedy the situation. Well Monday came and went as did the next 14 days before we called him again. This time he got very agitated saying were being rude to him. All we wanted was to get the problem solved as he said he would. Again, after a long conversation and my telling him I was going to take him to court to recover my payment, we both hung up. He called us back about a half-hour later stating he spoke to his insurance company and they said I didn't have a prayer of winning the court case. I feel differently and have proof of mold still on the roof and the product directions. He then said he would send "someone" to fix the problem by weeks end. So here I am two weeks later, no one showed up. So I am posting this on your site to warn other seniors in my community and surrounding areas not to use this unprofessional company. If they can't follow simple directions on a product they supposedly use all the time, I don't think they are equipped to do a proper job in anything. And by the way, I am now going to court to file the case as I have another service coming to do the work they failed to do.

Contractor took no responsibility for the gas leak. The work on the rough-in and sheet rock was fine. Punctuality was fine until it came time to install a small piece of finishing trim. He indicated he would do it if we purchased the piece, but when all was said and done he had numerous reasons why he couldn't be bothered to return for just a small matter. He was quick to remind us we had no written job estimate so we just let it all go. Note to self: get written estimates and be sure your contractor is insured and bonded. . Overall.... an expensive rough-in due to the added cost of gas line repair.
Description of Work: Carpentry and sheet rock. Roughed-in a water heater and vent line. During the course of the rough-in a nail penetrated a CSST gas line. We had to call NJ Natural Gas and a professional HVAC contractor (Gold Medal) for an emergency repair as gas was leaking into the home. Price to repair gas leak: $1,500.00.
