Clay’s Climate Control is now Ace Hardware Home Services! Ace Hardware acquired Clay’s, the HVAC service experts of South Jersey, creating a new opportunity to redefine Helpful service in the heating and cooling business. Supporting over 5800 neighborhood stores across the country, Ace Hardware is a company dedicated to helpful service in local communities. Much like Clay’s, Ace Hardware is dedicated to delivering an amazing experience to every customer, every time. Ace Hardware stores are locally owned and operated, with the goal to be helpful in the aisle and now in the home. We are excited to grow Clay’s together with Ace to continue to support the local community for years to come.

"We are sorry to hear you are unsatisfied. You were advised of the service call fee for us to come and assess the situation. Any additional repair or support needed was an additional charge. Certain manufacturers require technicians to call their tech support line to keep the warranty valid. Our technician diagnosed the issue and called tech support to get the part under warranty because the warranty had expired. He went above and beyond for them to extend the warranty which was all explained to you."

"Hello and thank you for your comments. According to the United States Environmental Protective Agency (EPA), we are required to a**** a leak on AC equipment and perform the appropriate repairs as stated on their website https://www.epa.gov/section608/stationary-refrigeration-leak-repair-requirements. We are unable to simply add R22 Freon to a unit because the customer feels that is what is needed. We must appropriately diagnose the problem with our highly trained, NATE and/or EPA certified technicians. Hopefully you are comfortable in your home again."
