Their service is excellent.  They show up when they are supposed to.  They clean up when they are done.  There are very efficient.  I am pleased with them.  I have used them a number of times.  After I used them the first time, I found them in the phone book.  I used them again because their work was good.

I've purchased mulch from Tree King numerous times over the years.  It's always a pleasure to do business with them.  Normally someone answers the phone, but if she's busy she calls right back.  They show up when promised, will call immediately if there's any delay or even if they can come sooner.  I normally buy an entire truckload of mulch and they'll dump it where ever on the property I need it.  I don't even need to be home - they follow my directions and leave a bill.

I have used Tree King many times over the past 10 years for both tree removal services and mulch deliveries.  I have found them to be price competitive and they have always delivered or over-delivered on the work they were hired to do. Tree removal - I have hired them twice to remove trees on my property.  The first time was eight years ago, due to a lightning strike, and they were on-site the next day.  The tree was removed, the stump was ground down to below ground level and everything was cleaned up with no damage to the surrounding  plants/grass.  The second time, two years ago, I hired them to remove a couple of trees from the back of my property.  Again, I was highly satisfied.  The trees were removed, the site was cleaned up and they even removed and shredded a large pile of old brush I has sitting in the back (beyond the scope of what I asked them to do). Mulch delivery - I have ordered mulch from Tree King annually for the past six years.  They have always delivered the mulch quickly and when they say they will.  The quality of the mulch has always been excellent. Tree King seems to be a well managed company and I have recommended them to my friends on numerous occasions.

One oak tree was three times height of my (ranch) house. I had a spruce that was even taller. Maybe 6 to 8 smaller trees were cut as well. Had a wire fence with within bushes. Whole thing ran about 100 feet. Cut the bushes, rolled up the fence for me (needed clear to let a contractor into my backyard). Ground all the stumps. You would have to see the height of even just one of the two big trees to ask, "$1,800.00 was ALL???" They are fast - three and a half hours after arrival – gone. They clean up EVERYTHING up! Third time I have used them. Never thought I'd ever write a recommendation for anything/anyone...but for TREE KING, sure. They are fantastic!

I had no contact with anyone at this company other than the woman who answered the phone. They did the estimate while I was at work, left it in the mailbox and I mailed it in and they came a few weeks later and removed the tree, also while I was at work. No issues or problems and they cleaned everything up nicely. Only minor complaint was that they left big ruts in the backyard lawn with their equipment, probably because the ground was so soft from previous rain. To be honest,our backyard looks awful on a good day so it really didn't bother us.

I contacted Tree King because of good reviews they had received from Angie's List. In addition, when my wife and I walk, we see one of their trucks regularly parked in front of the same house indicating that an individual from that company lives in my town. After two calls asking for an estimate, no one responded to look at the job. Thinking that their must be a disconnect because of the other reviews that had been posted, I called a third time. Later that day someone called and left a message stating that they were sorry they had failed to get back to us and...it was too far for them to travel. I don't think 19 miles is too far for a contractor to travel unless they're way to busy and who is that busy. I think the way they handled my situation was very unprofessional.

They had set up some time, but, had to change because of the storms in the area and they were good about letting me know about it well in advance. When they came, they did what they were supposed to do in the time frame that they were suppose to do it.

The tree that needed to be cut down was leaning over the street, held up only by its neighbor. The tree was dead and maybe 35 feet tall. After receiving an estimate in writing, I asked that the wood be left, rather than carted away. I was told that the owner thought the wood was rotten and therefore he advised that it not be left. I said that my uncle wanted the wood, he burns everything in his furnace, so please leave it anyway. The cost was reduced by about $25 since they did not have to dispose of the wood. The owner came to my door the day of t he service and asked what size I wanted the pieces cut to. We decided on a size that a typical fireplace could handle. No extra charge for cutting to this size. Very thoughtful and considerate. I have used this company several times, they always leave the area spotless. Usually I don't have the stump ground, I don't like the mess. They then cut the stump down to only a few inches off the ground. The only sign they have been there is that the tree is gone (of course this is dependent on whether or not they grind the stump and leave the lumber). I believe their prices are reasonable but the quality of their work is truly outstanding. I recommend them without reservation.

Our experience was excellent. After our initial call, a representative of the company visited the property & walked the lot with us taking notes as to what was needed. He provided us with an estimate on the work we had discussed & agreed to. We signed & sent out the written contract-and also a coupon which got us a $250.00 discount (make sure to check coupons-the company offers them with their advertising). We had to wait a bit for the work, but we were warned in advance that, because of recent bad weather, they had a bit of a backlog. The company provided us with about three days notice before the day assigned for the work, so we could warn neighbors. On the appointed day a crew arrived at 7:30 AM. The crew was composed of 8 men, two truck borne wood chippers & two-count-em-two-bucket cranes. By about 10:45, the work was done & a thorough clean-up completed. The men split up into two teams so they were able to work on several trees simultaneously. It was a pleasure to watch these professionals in action. There was not a wasted moment or step. Sheer artistry!! Tree King properly scoped the job beforehand & arrived at the job with the right amount of men & equipment to make quick work of a fairly large job. Clean up was excellent. The place looks better now than it did when they arrived.

It went great! They were the lowest bidder by far, which normally would make me wary, but they were recommended by my neighbor so we went with them. It was a great decision! They showed up with tons of equipment and several men and had all the work done in about two hours. They were extremely meticulous in their clean up, going over everything first with rakes and then with leaf blowers to ensure that nearly every chip of wood was removed from my yard and driveway. I would definitely use them again!
