+ -1 moreHB Painting and Construction was 12K over budget and 9 weeks over the estimated time to completion.The homeowner could not move back into the house as promised for Thanksgiving and now Christmas because of the unsafe nature of the work. Mr. Brown is a charmer though and will lie and cheat his customers.
Description of Work: HB Painting and Construction was in Breach of Contract for a remodel. They didn't perform or complete the services they were hired to do. My house would have been "red tagged" had I tried to move back in because of the way they rerouted plumbing potentially causing CO2 build-up and frozen pipes. They emptied the house of their tools and walked away. The owner, Jody Brown, would leave his workers on the job alone and unsupervised but, being a micro manager (and a hostile one at that), they could not perform without his instruction and direct supervision. Mr. Brown lied to the home owner and said he would complete the job but wouldn't show up. He left me hanging without w/d ventilation, new exterior door's that he didn't install, a tub faucet that he didn't install, shoddy workmanship and unsafe living conditions. I can't move back into my house until I have the work redone causing me thousands in unanticipated expenses.
