I had an emergency that occurred at night, I got a response at 7 a.m. The tech came out before 10 a.m. The repair was done next day. They were quick and neat. I also got a warrantee Thank you.

I hired Quick Cooling & Heating to purge my heating system because there was air in the lines. They came on time and performed the work. The service technician that came did a good job. My only concern was the price that was quoted which was more that double of what I have ever paid for this type of service. I had to haggle with the owner on the phone to get him to drop his price to half the originally quoted price. I feel that most customers in this position would not have the ability to haggle to get to a reasonable price.

In actually installing the furnace, I initially thought they did a reasonable job, dismantling the old furnace, installing the new one, and in leaving no mess near the furnace. Only later did I realize that my humidifier which was connected to my furnace had been disconnected and they did not even bother to tell me they had done that. A friend visiting my house noted that. He told me it was wasteful for my humidifier to run continuously. I called Quick Cooling and they said they would come and fix it. First they took their own time dilly-dallying before giving me a half-day window. Then no one ever called the neighbor with whom I had made arrangements to let them in. They now claim that they did call, when in phone records there is no evidence at all that they did. This was not just irresponsibility, but also a cheap way of trying to shift blame. Weeks later, today, they called again to say they wanted to schedule a visit. The aggravation from dealing with this firm has reached breaking point. I don't believe they take any scheduling even moderately seriously. Even to initially replace the furnace, they took a while, and made me ask a couple of times, to give me the manuals, on a separate trip. The serial and model numbers needed for registration took more time and more asking. They were not on any label outside the unit, nor in any paperwork, but inside the unit, and that wasn't easy for me to get to. After I called the office many times, a techie did come yet again and helped me. He was very pleasant. But I didn't think the boss or the office took the manuals or the registration seriously. At one point he even said he didn't think it was his job to provide the model and serial numbers for registration. I had to insist. The furnace itself is listed at about $600 in many places. So I paid about $4000 for installation, and lousy service and attitude, which several people told me is a lot. Bottom line: the actual furnace installation work is probably OK, but get a couple of competing quotes also. And make clear at the outset that manuals and numbers needed for registration are also important. The two techies who came out on a cold and difficult Saturday installed the furnace but disconnected the humidifier. The boss and the office are badly organized, and inspire very little confidence confidence.

Very professional. Responded quickly to call. Used them twice. Made me understand what was wrong with the furnace, and what was needed to repair it. Broke down why the repair costed as much as it did. Repaired the furnace in a timely manner. House is now heated again in one of the coldest winters. Family is very happy now.

They responded quickly initially. But the initial guy didnt want to look for the replacement part and was only prepared to replace the whole unit. I thought the price was high considering I found and bought the unit and all they had to do was install. Work was good. They left me hanging for a full day, promising to come EOD and then only rescheduling when i called to check in. The actual contractors were very nice and accommodating.
