Ben and Daniel came to fix the toilet and did a great job! Being curious about how things work I asked a lot of questions, they were very good about answering them, showing me what was broken, and how they were going to fix it. Turned out the flange had deteriorated and had to be replaced and then they plaster mounted the toilet base, which they said is better to do then just caulking it to the floor. Carmine came a little later to help assess the shower leak situation. We decided it would be better to first re grout the shower floor first, before we opened up my neighbors ceiling to find the leak. I appreciated his honesty and would hire him again!

The day before 11 guests arrived, our water heater decided to die. Carmine's was the first company I called. He personally answered the phone EARLY in the morning and told me someone would be by in an hour. Sure enough, they were there in an hour. They assessed the slightly complicated solution in a short time, gave me a price quote, and told me they could have the job done by noon, which they did. And, when they were done they swept up. My basement looked cleaner than when they arrived.

I contacted the company on 11/30/2009 to arrange an appointment for an estimate on 12/2/2009. I made the appointment for 12/2/2009. However, the person came to the home on 12/1/2009, they called my home number and spoke with my Mother and was extremely nasty and inappropriate. My mother called me at work to tell me about the matter, but I assumed it was the home appraiser. I needed to cancel the appointment for the estimate and called the company on 12/1/2009 to do as such. I spoke to a man (I cannot refer to him as a Gentleman) and was told the appointment was not for 12/2 it was for 12/1. I went to the home today and no one was there and I will not return. WOW! I know that I made the appointment for 12/2, as I needed permission to enter the premises on this date. Secondly, what gives him the right to think that his behavior is acceptable let alone professional. It is amazing that all of the other vendors that I set appointments up with had the right day with the exception of him. I see why he received some of the comments that he did receive. Furthermore, I would never use him for any service given this experience.

They came the next day, gave us an estimate right away and promptly fixed all three faucets...it took one hour and they had the parts right in their truck. He also gave me advice on how to rearrange our washer/dryer for a future project.

Mr. Aumenta's son unclogged my bathroom sink, while a assistant worked on my kitchen faucet. As it turned out, it needed to be replaced. They gave me the exact type of replacement I would have purchased myself at hardware stores. Mr. Aumenta was there to oversee the work and everything was taken care of in a timely manner. In the next few weeks, I will have him look over my heating unit.

After seeing five different companies who tried to tell us we needed up to $10,000 of extraneous work, Mr. Aumenta came promptly, climbed up on our roof, inspected and gave us his honest opinion that we didn't need anything done. Thank goodness there are some honorable people out there!

He apologized and offered to reschedule but due to the urgent nature of my leak I now needed someone asap. I called another contractor who came immediately and resolved the problem same day. Carmine called back a week later to ask if I still needed someone and by then my leak had been long resolved. I understand if their schedule was busy and could not make the next job but a courtesy call would have been nice so my tenant didnt have to waste a day of work. In this economy, we cant afford to lose hours at work.

Carmine came the day I called. He came with his son and Danny. Unfortunately they could not do the entire job that day since we had to turn the water off for the whole building and give 24 hours notice. They fixed the leak they first day they came. Carmine helped recommend a new faucet for the kitchen and also looked at some other potential jobs while he was here. I appreciated his honest advice on replacing a faucet in the bathroom. He told me it would be cheaper to replace the entire vanity vs just trying to replace the faucet. When Carmine and Danny came back to replace the valve and install the faucet, they were right on time and had everything done in about an hour. They put everything back where it was and cleaned up before leaving. Both were very professional, courteous and fast. I also really enjoyed chatting with them while they worked! I will definitely use them again and was very happy with the job they did.

I was disappointed because I read such great reviews about this company. If a company is unable to return a phone call, that to me suggests a lack of good customer service skills. I graded this company a C only because at the time I called the gentleman was pleasant.

He is an excellent plumber. He recommended products that I can use to keep my system from backing up. He was far cheaper than Roto Rooter. He is very professional and considerate. I highly recommend him.

It went very well. Everything was done on the estimated time and in the job looks well done. They worked while I was out of town and when I came back it looked perfect and clean.

Carmine Aumenta was personable and responsive. Turns out that he used to be the plumber for the building before it went condo. I feel very relieved that there is someone knowledgeable and trustworthy who I can turn to with future plumbing issues.

Our toilet tank suddenly began pouring water. Also the handle for the shower has been slipping off for some time. I called Carmine and he and his son came to make the repairs. They were on time and courteous. They were able to make the repairs in under 1/2 hour. In addition, Carmine noticed that my toilet handle was cracked and so he replaced it.

The repair took about an hour. I was at work, while my sister supervised the job. Carmine spoke to my by phone, explained the problem, the first step in repairs, the cost and other potential problems. Fortunately the first step resolved the problem. Then he checked all of my radiators and cleaned them by opening and vacuuming them out. When I got home the house was clean and warm. My sister reported that Carmine and his staff even wore little booties so they wouldn't track dirt in and out.

After waking up to no water, frozen pipes, after the coldest night of the year I checked Angie's List for a plumber to help us. Carmine said he had several appointments but would be able to get to us in the late afternoon. He asked if we had heat in the basement and when I said no he suggested we get some heat down there right away. He arrived in the afternoon, showed my husband where the pipes were frozen and unfroze them to get water to the first floor. He also explained to my husband how to warm the pipes running to the second floor bathroom, he also made several suggestions on heating and what would make the plumbing more cost efficient (wrapping pipes etc). He was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We were very pleased and felt we had an understanding of what caused our problem and how to prevent it in the future thanks to Carmine.

I contacted them via phone and left a voicemail at 2 AM-after snaking my toilet for about 2 hours. I heard from them promptly at 9 AM and they were here and done by 10:35 and even had an appointment before me. Although I had removed some of the clog last night, they pulled up what I could not quickly. Carmine and his son came dressed professionally, and were very friendly. I will call them FIRST next time I have any issue big or small. They gave me a lot of confidence in their work ethic.

Carmine always returned my calls on the same day and he arrived when he stated he would. He left the work site clean. He also provided a great deal of advice on furnace, faucet, vanity and toilet selections. Overall, he is a very nice, knowledgeable and respectful professional and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Carmine gave me the option of using the fixture he would provide or a fixture I picked out and purchased on my own. I decided to buy the fixture myself so I knew what I was getting and he recommended a couple of brands that had replacement parts readily available. This was very helpful. As it turns out, the price for his fixture matched the one I purchased. Carmine doesn't pad the cost of parts like some other contractors. He showed up with his crew as arranged, installed the fixture and new pipes, and cleaned up before leaving. The quote was exact and the work was done neatly and quickly. This plumber and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

Called, he called back. came next day. Left 30 minutes later.

I sent an email to this company, and I never received a response to my inquiry/request for service.

Carmine came promptly and quickly located a leak. It's an old house with slanting floors so it was hard to tell exactly where it was coming from. The vanity needed replacing because of the water damage. He will return once I have purchased a new one. His price was reasonable.

Carmine called a hour before he came and arrived when he promised. I have a very old toilet and other plumbers have told me that they can't get the parts. Carmine fixed it with no problems and now it works like it was new. He was very pleasant and even cleaned up after himself!!

It went very well. Carmine is very efficient and professional and explains everything that he's doing. Some contractors talk to the woman of the house as if she needs to contact her husband before making a decision. This is not the case with Carmine and sons. He also fixed my bathroom stopper which he noticed wasn't closing properly.

They were in and out within 15 minutes and my toilet was working like new. I have used Carmine a few times and each time they are thorough and professional. They are not the cheapest but they are worth the premium price. It's also a small, family-run operation so you must be a bit more flexible about your schedule, but once Carmine calls and says he can be there in 15 minutes he means it. He will be there in 15 minutes and your problem will be fixed within the hour.

He did great job. He likes jobs that are short and you leave. He likes small jobs.
