The work went poorly. Kenneth was unable to follow the measurements made by the plumber on the kitchen floor for him. He mis-measured many areas of the kitchen. He incorrectly measured a dining room wall right next to the kitchen and as a result, my kitchen island extended into the dining room. Oh and forgot to mention that another wall was to have been cut down but he cut down the wrong wall and had to re-build that wall. We had to cut the carpeting in the dining room to make everything look as though it fit in. The kitchen cabinets were incorrectly installed and as a result two representatives from the cabinet company came to my house to correctly align the doors on the cabinets. While the representatives from the cabinet company were at my house, Kenneth showed up with a 4th spice rack he made which again did not fit the cabinets he ordered and installed. At this time Kenneth was pressing me for an additional $1,000 for work he had not yet done. It was a Friday afternoon and he said, in front of the two witnesses from the cabinet company, that he needed the money because he had no money to pay his workers. I would say his workers were fantastic but all that went wrong was due to the owner himself. He quoted me a price of $13,000-$14,000 for my $32,000 kitchen renovation. My plumber, Ron Dunado Plumbing, will back me up on all the poor and inaccurate measurements. Kenneth Kessler is a big talker with little action. He should not be in business. I still need a few thousand dollars to correct all his mistakes and complete my kitchen.
