They were able to come out about 3 days after I called them, I don't see how they could have done any better. They were very prompt and the individual was very nice; he was able to give me the estimate right on the spot. His professionalism was excellent and I was satisfied with what he told me. I'm going to keep them on my list for possible future work.

The price and the work done were great. They trimmed the tree a lot more thoroughly than I would have expected based on the estimate. But I do have issue is the scheduling--several days after I accepted the estimate, I still hadn't heard from the company to schedule, so I called them and was told that the guy who was in charge of our crew supposedly does his own scheduling and would call me himself. Two weeks later, still no call. He never did call, in fact. I only knew they were going to do it when I heard the chain saws start and looked out the window to see it already underway. Had he called beforehand, I would have asked him not to come on that date because we were in the middle of having our house painted and didn't want sawdust blowing all over our fresh (wet) coat of paint. As it was, they did blow sawdust all over--it's only by luck that the sides of the house that got it were dry enough that it didn't stick.

Provided estimate the middle of April; completed job May 1. Efficient, professional operation.

Everything went fine. They carefully removed tree limbs to avoid hitting the house. They cleaned up all wood that was trimmed and raked up small debris in both rear and front yard and removed it from my property. They did not use spikes to climb the trees to avoid hurting the trees, they trimmed from a bucket. All work was accomplished in one day.

It was smooth and clean. Not too expensive, comparing to other services we checked.

I was appalled at the bad customer service. When I first got the estimate, I called to try to discuss whether there were things that could be skipped in order to get the cost down, but the man who called back was rude and dismissive in his message. I signed them up anyway because theirs turned out to be the lowest of three estimates. But then they never actually came to do the work. I never got follow-up phone calls from them to tell me why they were delayed, when to expect them, etc. After two months I became so angry that I simply canceled. I assume my job was just too small for them to bother with. Unprofessional!

We got a prompt response from this company. They gave us an estimate within a couple of days after our call. The work was done a few days later. They asked us to get our neighbor's approval to use her driveway for the truck. She refused, and they cheerfully used our driveway on the opposite side of the house. The work took a little longer and a lot more effort, but they did not accept more money for the extra work.

Downes Tree Service came very quickly after we called them so their responsiveness is top-notch. Their work is very good too. There was no mess left after they were done. They were professional and courteous. They were very respectful of my property and that is always a plus.

They were very efficient and thorough. They left the place clean after they were done. The price was reasonable.

I have a really large oak tree in my backyard which is also very hard to get to, but the guys used a combination of a "cherry picker" and a really good climber to trim the tree. They moved all the furniture off of my deck and put it back when they were done. They avoided the garden beds when dropping the trimming, and picked up all of the debris. When they left, the tree looked like it had a great new haircut, looked cleaner, and my backyard looked as though they had never been here.

The work was done and all of the debris was removed. There was no damage done to any of the landscaping around the pines or trees that were trimmed. The work was done within the agreed time period to complete the work. This company also does the foliage spraying on the property.

Excellent Service. A little pricey but they do a good job.

THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM. THEY SHOW UP ON TIME AND GET THE JOB DONE ON TIME. THEY DO EVERYTHING THAT IS EXPECTED OF THEM. THEY KEEP ME INVOLVED IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS.

IT WAS GOOD. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS REALLY FAIR. THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE. THEY CAME AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG AND TOOK CARE OF IT.

THEY HAVE REMOVED MANY TREES FOR US. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY DISPOSE OF EVERYTHING FOR US. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND FINISH THE JOB QUICKLY.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE, AND PUNCTUAL. WHEN THEY WERE THERE THEY WERE ALWAYS WORKING HARD. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE COMPANIES WORK.

I REALLY LIKE THIS COMPANY. THEY KEEP MY LAWN GREEN. WE HAVE BEEN WITH THEM A LONG TIME, ABOUT TEN YEARS NOW. I HAVE NO CONTACT WITH THEM, THEY JUST KNOW WHEN TO COME AND TAKE CARE OF MY LAWN. THEN THEY JUST STICK THE BILL INSIDE THE DOOR.

THEY DO A GOOD JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. IF THEY NEED TO MOVE ANYTHING WHEN THEY MOW OR ANYTHING, THEY ARE VERY GOOD TO MAKE SURE THEY REPLACE IT.
