Provider was not responsive for several weeks after the coupon purchase. I had phone calls in without response. They finally responded via email. The work was done in two parts. The first part of the service, the team cutting down the main tree bark & limbs blocked me in to my driveway as they worked. They started diverting traffic, it was not clear if they had prior township approval for this. They left a huge mess of tree parts on my lawn. Since my township does not collect debris regularly I had to bring these in the back of my car to the township depot. I waited around nearly a month for the stump to be removed. Again, they were not responsive to phone inquiries. The stump was suddenly removed without my knowledge or authorization to do the work. There were also left over parts dropped on the lawn from the stump removal. Finally, we get to billing. I received an email last week saying that my account was 59 days past due. I have never received a bill from them, other than via email manually from a account clerk. Her claim was that I signed up for electronic billing, which I did not. I've had to mark emails from this provider as spam, as they sign you up for their mailing list and don't provide an opt-out option. Between the poor way the job was handled and borderline poor accounting practices I have to mark this provider as one I would never do business with again. It's shame as I have other work and various large trees to be trimmed.

They do not service my area and I am waiting for Angies people to confirm this. Been over a day now since I left a phone message and emailed them.

I was very pleased with both the visit for the estimate and the return visit for the work needed. Both were done in a timely manner. The area was cleaned up very well.

It went well, but I wish the estimator had called me on the phone or knocked on the door to review the services the company would provide. I knew they were coming "sometime that day," but by the time I saw the truck and got outside, he had left. We actually had a few more small projects they could possibly have addressed during that visit.

Gerry came out initially to see what needed to be done. We agreed on a day for the work to be performed that accommodated me or another family member being home. To our surprise, the work was done sooner but during a day and time when no one was home. Because no one was home while the work was performed, we were unable to supervise the job, and unfortunately, a few things were not addressed. When I called the office, the office personnel were very courteous about taking my call and understanding that I wasn't calling to complain about the work done or the faster service, but my point that had I been there when the crew came, I would have had the opportunity to make sure everything was done to completion before the crew left. Gerry called me back right away and offered to come out that day to finish the remaining tasks himself, which he did! The work was then satisfactorily done to completion. We were grateful for Gerry's willingness to resolve everything without any hassle and that is why the company still gets an A from us. We plan to use them again.

We set up an appointment to have the tree service. We ended up canceling the appointment because we sold our house. They were wonderful when we spoke with them. They were very good at processing a refund of the money we had paid them.

All work was completed in about 1.5 hours and everything was cleaned up. there was no "collateral" damage. The crew showed up at the agreed-upon time and were courteous and professional. Everything was done by tree climbing - no truck tire marks on my lawn. Also, there was a coupon I purchased (net savings of $143) -- always nice.

Left place in great shape.

My experience with them went very well. I had to pay about $200 to $300 more. They gave me a quote and they stuck to the quote. They were very responsive. The guy who came out to do the work was very thorough. It looked great after he left.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It turned out wonderful. They were terrific. They were very professional. The work was done when they said it would be, when they scheduled it. The clean up was terrific. They really cleaned up nicely.

Dan and his crew were totally professional, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. Dan's recommendations for a sick tree seem to have arrested its decline. I'll know for sure in the spring. I'm pleased and would use them again. I took advantage of an Angie's List coupon to save ~$150.

As usual they did a great job taking care of our trees.

The entire crew arrived on time and all were professional and respectful of our property. The tree was trimmed as requested and as best for the health of the tree (thanks to the crew's excellent input). They even inspected our roof to ensure no damage had occurred as a result of the extra-long branches. I was very happy with the results and will certainly use SavATree again in the future. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. They ended up charging me $300 that should have already been applied to the cost of the service after purchasing the Big Deal. It took a couple phone calls and emails, but was eventually taken care of. Overall I would recommend them, as it was the coupon process that caused the billing issues.

The very professional team came in the AM, got to work and were done and cleaned up by noon. We have also used them in the past to take down a lightning-struck tree that was about to fall across our backyard. I like them because if a tree can be saved they will advise how to do that, but they won't kid around if it is not safe to attempt a save. They are professional, prompt and to the point. They do what they say they will do on time, every time. Perhaps not the cheapest outfit in town, but I believe the safest and most skilled.

Awful. Complete waste of money and time.

The arborist, Gerry, accompanied the crew to make sure they had all the details correct. We've used them several times before to deal with trees that had to come down due to hurricane Sandy and as before, the crew was courteous, professional, made sure I was satisfied with the work they did, and did a great job cleaning up. Everyone from the arborist to the crew is also very knowledgeable.

I was quite impressed with the puctuality and professionalism of the arborist and crew. Gerry gave me a date and time for the estimate, and he was here on the dot. Explained the work would be done in 3 to 4 wks. I was notified before the workers showed up and given an approximate time. The crew was polite, professional, asked for my opinion before they started and called me out to check their work before they left. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

They sent a man to survey my property. The Company name is SaveaTree in Princeton. The man that came out was an arborist. He was the MOST professional man I have ever met. He walked me through everything that needed to be done and I cannot say enough good things about him.

It went extremely well from start (arborist proving a quote), to finish. The work was performed by three professionals on one of the hottest days of the summer. They cleaned up really well.

Dan the arborist came over and I explained what we wanted done. It was a lot of things but he managed to get them all down and include them on the estimate he emailed the very same afternoon! He also had some good ideas and suggestions. I thought the price was reasonable and arranged for them to do the job. It was scheduled for maybe a week or two later, not too long of a wait. They said they would be over first thing in the morning on the scheduled day. Sometimes contractors or service providers say "first thing" or "you're our first job of the day" and you're sitting there until 11am wondering what happened, but these guys were here right at 8am! I thought they would have a cherry picker or bucket truck but they didn't, they did it all by hand! I wish I'd been able to stick around to see exactly how they did it. They were finished by the second day and completely cleaned up the mess. They also cleared a bunch of smaller vegetation that was kind of growing wild. Instead of mosquito infested woods, we now have a sunny backyard with the possibility of having a garden. Also, Dan seemed knowledgeable about each tree, its type, whether pruning back some larger branches would hurt the tree, etc. I would recommend to others.

It went very well. I used it with in a couple of weeks of purchase. They honored the coupon. They removed all of the debris. There is nothing bad to say. I would highly recommend them. They did a very good for us. They have reasonable prices. I would use them again.

Wife requested a quote to remove the branch and someone arrived to provide an estimate in a matter of days. Was quoted $300. After getting a few other quotes, we decided to go with SavATree. Called a service rep and mentioned the quote and advised we were Angie's List members and were eligible for an exclusive big deal promotion: $150 for $300 worth of tree service. They said they would honor the promotion -- just purchase it and it will be reflected on our invoice. Service was scheduled and a team of three came out to take care of the branch. After trying a few different approaches unsuccessfully (branch was quite large and quite stuck!), one of the guys ultimately ended up climbing up the tree and cutting the branch loose. After that was taken care of, they raked and removed all debris. The branch itself was turned to chips (which they hauled away) by one of their big trucks. Overall, it was a great experience. At first I was reluctant to hire out such a task, thinking I could have done it myself if I had more free time and nerve, but after seeing how complicated (& potentially dangerous!) the actual disposal was, I'm glad I went with these guys and their expertise.

Work was underwhelming and billing incorrect. Threatened to turn me over to a credit collector for a mistake in billing they created. After months, they admitted their mistake on billing and offered to return and redue lawn.
