+ -1 moreUnfortunately we didn’t get past the initial consult, because in that conversation the word “n****r” was used in reference to Mr. Weidmann’s frustration about recent protests across the country for George Floyd. I had to tell him that we can’t do business with him and what he said was inappropriate.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with Peter's prompt response. He came out several times (prior to doing the work) to discuss different aspects of the job, and he helped my husband and I to explore several possible options for solving our side porch gutter/downspout issues. He had a very quick turn around time. Throughout the whole process, it was quite clear that he takes pride in his work and is determined to make sure that it is done correctly. We haven't been through a winter yet with the snow guards, so I can't speak to whether or not they are enough to solve the ice/snow dam issue that we have had. However, I can say that they will likely help. Also, the new gutter system seems much sturdier.
Description of Work: 1) I needed an old gutter and downspout removed and replaced on my garage. 2) I also needed my side porch gutter and downspout to be replaced. The garage work was straightforward. The existing porch gutter had failed due to ice and snow dams that form during the winter months. The roof gets very little sun in the winter, and the weight of the thawing and refreezing snow/ice resting on the gutter had bent it out of shape and pulled it off of the support brackets. Peter recommended sizing up to commercial gutters and installing snow/ice guards on the metal porch roof. Another issue that I face is that an upper roof drains to the lower porch roof, so in heavy rain, the former gutter/downspout system could not handle the high volume of water.

+ -1 moreSudden heavy storms had water overflowing my gutters right before we went away. We have used Mr. Weidmann for years. I told him we would be gone but would pay him when we got back, if he didn't mind. He agreed. Then to my surprise, he managed to get to us in the evening because the storms had let up. Because of tall mature trees and wildlife, we need to have our gutters cleaned regularly. He is always quick. He has also done repairs for us. I am glad that we have someone I don't have to worry about doing a good job.
