The color of the townhouse walls we rented was a really awful yellow color (and one purple bedroom) and to make it even worse, it was all semi gloss paint. We didn't want to spend a great deal of money as it is a rental and we will only be here for a year, but the color was really bad. The owner of the company made an appointment with me and showed up right on time. After reviewing the scope of work, he told me two coats would be required to cover the paint and perhaps three would be needed. He also offered suggestions on color to minimize the number of coats needed to hide the yellow/purple. We told him we needed it done within a week and he said he would see what he could do. After a short while he came back and told us he could have his men come over the weekend and do the whole job in two days. He also gave us a break on the price. We hired him and that weekend his two men showed up, on time, and proceeded to paint like there were 4 guys there. The quality of the work was much better than I expected and his suggested color covered all the old paint perfectly. If you are looking for very high quality work, at a very competitive price, these are the painters for you. I highly recommend them and will use them again when we buy our next house. Along comes Hammer Head Group from Hamilton township, NJ which is owned and operated by a Saint of a guy named Jimmy Cavalucci. He cane to my daughters home and was appalled at how she was having to live (washing dishes in her tub). He immediately offered to do the job and have it completed in two weeks. They say “It takes a village “ no-it takes A man of his word named Jimmy Cavalucci from Hammer Head group and his amazing team of professionals. The project was completed in one week. This man was heavenly sent to help my daughter get her and her children’s lives back together. God bless and thank you Jimmy. You will never find another GC like Jimmy.

Words truly can’t express the gratitude and appreciation I have for Jimmie Cavalucci and his crew from Hammer Head Group. Jimmie and his team truly rescued me and my kids from the work of a prior contractor that left us in a desperate and horrific situation for 5 months. The unprofessionalism, poor workmanship and complete lack of care for my project left me with destroyed hardwood floors, no kitchen, no appliances, unfinished paint throughout the home, no washer or dryer and a pile of construction debris in my backyard! I felt hopeless as a single working mother of three children that was in the constraints of a highly regulated 203 Renovation Loan when I bought the home. On October 14th at 10:08am I posted a desperate plea on Facebook looking for a reputable, licensed and insured General Contractor that could help. Within 20 minutes I received a call from Jimmie Cavalucci who was courteous, reassuring and beyond professional. He came to my home the next day and by Thursday all the necessary paperwork needed by the mortgage company was submitted. Friday, October 19th Jimmie’s team began working on my home. It was an absolute miracle! One week later, on October 27th ALL of the renovations and clean-up were complete! His team of professionals are incredible. They take pride in their work, the standards are set high, they’re knowledgeable, punctual, professional and respectful of your time. Honestly, I lost faith in General Contractors….you hear horror stories ALL the time and I became one of them. Jimmie not only restored my faith within his profession but in people. I truly lost hope. I wonder “Did he have the time for my project?” Probably not! That’s what warms my heart …. I feel he took on the job truly out of compassion. I’m beyond grateful as he helped to create a home for my children and myself. I am forever grateful and HIGHLY recommend his services and all those affiliated with Hammer Head Group.

They used a colored primer, Benjamin Moore paint for the fascia and an oil stain for the siding. I do not think that my house ever looked as good as it does now. The three workers were conscienscious and diligent in their application of the exterior paint. Very much satisfied.

Jimmy was very responsive, showed up on time and gave me a fair price for the work. His painters completed the work professionally and the job was finished on time and looked great. I feel like I could trust Jimmy and would hire him again

It may sound like an easy job, but this was raw wood with plenty of holes to fill in the trim work. Jimmy's crew was always there when promised and did an excellent job. They covered the terrace and furniture and left the site clean when they were done.

My rain gutter was sagging in one spot of my house so early last week I called Hammer Head to come take a look because is read so many great reviews on them. Jimmy dropped by to assess the situation and once he determined what needed to be done (some broken clips needed replacement) he sent a crew out promptly. Work was done quickly and thoroughly. I'm very happy with the results and will definitely be calling on Jimmy again for future work at my home.

Simply put: Jimmy and his crew transformed the beat up hardwood floors and terribly painted walls on our first floor into what looks like a brand new home. Our living room where most of the work was done is now by far the most amazing room in the house. They repaired / filled in all the areas where the previous owners had glued on wainscoting throughout the whole room. I cannot believe there was ever holes and tears all over the walls. They were able to smooth everything out - the walls and painting are perfect. We also had our hardwood floors refinished and couldn't be happier with how they turned out, also new baseboard trim, we had the door to the inside of the garage replaced, they painted and stained the stair treads to the second floor. We also had crown moulding installed in the living room to match the rest of the houses. Everything that was done turned out fantastic. The thing that I like most about Hammerhead Group LLC is Jimmy's attitude and his dedication to customer service. He and I have probably exchanged several hundred texts over the course of a month. He always got back to me almost immediately, never seemed like he was in a hurry and made sure that we knew there were options. And while he would offer suggestions, ultimately he wanted us to be happy and make our own choice. Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced when dealing with a contractor or anyone doing work inside our home.

I originally called Hammer Head Group because of the reviews I read online. The first thing that impressed me is that Jimmy actually answered the phone when I called. From that moment I have never had a better experience working with a contractor. Jimmy and his crew are professional, friendly and extremely hard working. At first I only needed someone to pressure wash my home but I was so impressed with everyone involved that I kept calling back to have quite a bit of exterior work done as well, such as exterior painting and installation of a storm door. I will continue to use Jimmy and Hammer Head Group for any future work, both interior and exterior.

I could not give a higher review than the one I am giving to this business. From the time I emailed James for information until the time the job was completed, I received the highest level of professionalism and quality of work from James and his crew. The workers arrived promptly each day, were very respectful, and took the utmost care in making sure to leave everything spotless each day. This was no ordinary painting job. My ceilings and walls had numerous nail pops, seams and lumps from drywall repair, stains from roof leaks, and cracked and peeling paint on trim work. James took great care in communicating with me throughout the process, and making sure everything was running smoothly. It was a pleasure having these folks work for me. My home looks beautiful! I have already asked them to return to do further work.

James and his team of painters were beyond professional. James listened to our needs and executed the job exactly the way we wanted it done. Highly recommend Jimmy and his team! They have been outstanding to work with!!! We hired them to paint our basement ~1200 square feet, and install vinyl plank flooring. The work performed was immaculate, and reasonably priced! Jimmy ensured quality results through the entire project. Not to mention, the turnaround time was only a few days from start to finish. We met with several local painting companies after moving to our new home. Jimmy and his employees at Hammer Head Group were very professional, completing the project quickly and we couldn’t be happier. We had two bedrooms and a full bathroom meticulously repaired to correct cracks and nail pops before the painting began. All furniture was covered and moved out of the way by the team, and drop cloths were placed on the floors throughout our house. All we had to do was pick out the paint colors and let Jimmy know, very smooth operation. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in the area.

Jimmy and his team over the course of two weeks professionally handled a complete interior house painting project including several rooms with old wallpaper requiring careful attention, oversaw removal and installation of carpeting throughout the entire house and a full clean out of the remaining house and garage contents. Whatever small issues or problems arose, Jimmy took care of them without question providing updates to both me and my sister seventy five miles away from the property. Working with Jimmy and Hammer Head Group was a pleasure. I cannot emphasize how happy we are. Jimmy also expertly and quickly moved a truckload’s worth of furniture to my apartment in Jersey City, NJ.

I can't say enough good things about Hammer Head Group. We've used them twice - the first time was for wall repair and painting and we were so impressed with their work and integrity that we didn't hesitate to hire them for a much larger job. Over the course of a six-week project, we had a lot of different people in and out - demolition/construction, HVAC, wallboard, flooring and painting - and every one of them was excellent.
