Innovative Security Systems

On Wednesday July 13th, Jack and two other of his employees stopped by home to go over what I was hoping to get a quote for. I wanted to get video surveillance camera's installed at the front and rear of my row home. I showed the team from Innovative security the areas i felt my home was vulnerable, and discussed in detail the concerns i had with those areas. We went over some options and they discussed the ups and downs to wireless vs hard wired. I was told that I should receive a quote on Friday the 15th or Monday the 18th. On Wednesday July 20th, I realized i had not heard back. I emailed Jack to find out what might have happened and when they expect the quote to be emailed. I felt this odd that I have not even heard back about a delay, but figured since this all hovered around the same time he Democratic Convention was going on Philly, maybe things were slowed in general. On July 25th I still had not heard back. I decided to email again. This time out of paranoia, i checked my spam before hand. Nothing was there. So i emailed again saying, that i still had not heard back and would like a status update on if i was even getting a quote. Today is Sunday, August 14th and one month since their visit, I have not heard anything. No quote, no email, nothing. What bothers me and the reason i am giving this low score is that this company has now made me feel less secure. I pointed out where my home blind sides are and my surveillance concerns, they took pictures, have been inside my home to see a basic layout and how i would need the cameras installed and never once contacted me back. Not even to say they decided not to do the job. I would have understood if they did that at least. Instead i never got a quote and never once received a reply to any email communication. Had they contacted me back after my second attempt, I still would have looked into going with them for my project but now i feel i need to accelerate my search for someone to install cameras as i no longer feel safe now that Jack and his two men went through my home and exterior taking photos.

As a member of Angie’s List, I wish to thank both Angie’s List and Innovation security systems. My secondary home is a condo in Brigantine, NJ with 24 units. We were looking to upgrade our security system, found Innovative on Angie’s List, contacted them. Jack Jr., the son, got back to us immediately with a visit and put a preliminary proposal together for our board of directors to review. He came to one of our meetings to discuss the issues and answer questions. The system we agreed upon has 17 cameras, completely protecting our building and offering the unit owners, many of them who live out of town, the advantage of seeing their boats, parking area and condo remotely at any time. Innovative systems are 5 stars with me. They showed up with a crew of professionals. Within 2 days, had our building hard wired. You cannot see one wire. They cleaned up. Our complete package with recording device, cameras and labor came to a very fair price of around $8000. Jack Jr. also showed up after installation, explaining to the unit owners how to view the cameras with both their smart phones and tablets. I recommend this company highly for their all-around professionalism and attention to detail. Thank you, Joe Bucher
