Rick's Cleanouts Inc

I thought Rick's Cleanouts price was very reasonable given the amount of stuff that had to be removed. They were also very efficient and very nice. I don't have any complaints about them.

We ordered a dumpster for same day service on Saturday the 6th of October. On the morning of the 6th we were told that the size dumpster that we ordered wasn't available, but the next size up was. We received it,  and we were still charged for the smaller size.
It was delivered on time, and removed later that afternoon. We had plenty of time to complete the job.

the young lady that answered the phone was courteous and understanding of the the problem.  She was willing to negotiate
the price and she had a truck  nearby so they came within twenty minutes.

I showed up and let the fellow ( Rick?) in to look around and he gave me the quote.  I said yes. The team was there in just over an hour and the job was complete in six hours. I didn't even stay. It was a very stress free experience.

Dumpster arrived on time and was picked up as promised.

They were on time, fast and efficient.  It took them 5 hours to empty an entire two bedroom house with a full basement.  I would recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

The 2 workers arrived. They razed the garage and loaded the debris in the dumpster they came with. The area was completely clean when they left. No dos and don'ts. Hire them and let them do the job.

Rick arrived promptly - within 10 minutes after calling.We negotiated a fair price & he dispatched 4 worker to get the job going.The guys went right to work, but It was late in the day, so they came back the next day to complete the job.
Rick runs a solid operation - I've used his company in the past, and will use them in the future.

Upon our initial contact with Rick's Cleanout over the phone, their staff was helpful, informative and accommodating.  The crew they sent out  - two men - showed up on time with a well sized truck, which at first we weren't sure would fit all the garbage.  But I have to say, the men did an excellent job neatly piling up the garbage, sorting it out by metal, wood, glass and just plain trash and fitting it all in the truck.  They worked diligently, professionally and knocked it out in about 4-5 hours.  They went over everything with us before they started the work, making sure they knew what was going and what was staying. As the work progressed they asked us anytime they had any questions about any items before packing it in the truck.  Items that were not garbage and was staying they moved out of the way while they worked, and once they finished packing all the garbage they replaced the items that were staying, storing them back neatly and organized in the garage (frankly, more organized than I had them) and swept up the garage and backyard, leaving each area neat and clean.  Once they were done, we checked everything out; once satisfied the work had been done properly and completely, we gave them a check, shook hands and off they went.

They were fine and their service was courteous. They brought in the items we required at the time they said they would. The price was fair; I don’t think it was any greater or less than most of the competition.

We have used them on three different occasions. They were fantastic. They are prompt, and thorough. I’m satisfied with the quality of their work. I will use their services again.

Rick's Cleanouts sent out some of the hardest working guys I have seen!  They arrived on time, gave us a quick quote, and then began tearing out our chain link fence (after we gave the go ahead) and picking up a large amount of debris that had accumulated between the fence and the building next door.  They were fast and efficient.  We will definitely have them back in the spring to help with the clean out of the basement.

He was good and the work turned out good.

This was the poorest experience I have ever had with workers in my home.  I strongly advise against anyone using this company as they will change the price when they get there and will send workers that are unable to communicate in english.  In addition the mess the left was horrible.  We were afraid to make a direct complaint for fear of an aggressive attack response.

In addition we did request a receipt (again the guys who did the work were unable to leave a document in english) and much to our shock other items suck as several TV's and a big cabinet were added to it - this was an out right LIE but because the workers were unable to communicate in english I had no means of proving that the bill was wrong.

If you need a clean out company and you are in North NJ don't use Ricks!

It went great. They came for an estimate, we negotiated the price, then they got to work. Several hours later, with four to 6 men working, they hauled away several truck loads of years of basement accumulation, including a pool table and a piano that they had to break apart. They kept to the estimate and left a nice clean swept out basement. I'd use them again.

I'd like to thank Rick's for doing such a great job in taking away our household items, trash and anything else I needed to get the heck out of our house. Not only did they come probably within an hour after my calling, but the two gentlemen who arrived were polite and wonderful to work with. I could not recommend Rick's Cleanout any more highly. You do want to call to get a price estimate before. It was a fair price, but a little unexpected. In hindsight, I think it was well, well worth the price. Thanks again and I look forward to using their services in the future. They made our move a little bit happier.

After checking Angie's list i selected rick's cleanout. i called with a request for an estimate and a possible appointment. After answering some questions i was given a date for the survey of the materials to be hauled away .  Rick's crew arrived on time on the day of the survey. after a review of the work to be done, a price was agreed to.
Rick's crew went to work right away with speed and enthusiasm. by the end of the day all refuse was put into the dumpster and the areas cleaned up.I paid the bill with a check. and the crew left.

Called Rick's on a Saturday afternoon and left a message.  Vanessa returned the call that afternoon--professional and personable.  Made an appointment for two men and a truck to come out an give me an estimate.  Time frame for arrival was between 1:30 and 2:30 the following Tuesday.  They called at 1:10 and said they would be here in 30-40 minutes, and they were.  Two men arrived with a moving-type truck, not a dump truck.  They took a look at everything I wanted removed, called the office and gave me an estimate which I accepted.  The men were polite, professional and friendly and worked for the next 5 hours or so to get the job done with temps in the 90's.  The job would have been completed faster, but they had to break and/or cut objects to fit them carefully on the truck, as it was already partially full--all other trucks were being used.  They left the garage, basement, and backyard swept and or raked up nicely.  Though the job was a little expensive, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

        Admittedly I was a bit skeptical when 2 men showed up with only the roll off container, a sledge hammer, chain saw and a few assorted hand tools (crowbar, rake. shovel. etc.). But the men knew what they were doing. When they were done the job was completed. No need for me to do any cleanup. Just park my car on the old concrete slab. I research everything from contractors to stereos online before I give anybody my money. I hired Rick's because of favorable reviews on Angie's List. So here's another one. There wasn't much info on demolition contractors in Bergen County, N.J. Rick's trucks say they go anywhere (obviously within reason). If you have a job like this or just debris removal,  in northern N.J., call Rick's Cleanouts Inc.. Maybe you can find a cheaper price elsewhere. Remember some contractors may require you to bring in a dumpster at additional cost. But if you just want the job done reasonably with no hassles try Rick's Cleanouts Inc.

I really want to leave a review of these people because they were EXCELLENT.  They went above and beyond to get a washer out of my basement.  I thought the price was a little steep but after all, it was well worth it.  I would highly recommend these people to anyone who needs something moved.  The men couldn't have been more professional or respectful.  Thanks you Rick's Cleanout for a job well done.

The jobs, each and every time went fantastically. They were always on time, efficient and very cooperative. We could never have accomplished all that we needed to without their help. Removing and hauling is one of the biggest part of a job and one of the most problematic. We had no idea how we would have done it without Rick's Cleanout. I would highly recommend them, removing and discarding waste is very expensive, so to have someone who does is, is one time and will go the distance to help as much as possible is wonderful. The cost is well worth it, we tipped the guys well and ordered in lunch, because they were not even going to stop to eat! The Best!

It was great. It was a good experience. They showed up on time. They cleaned out everything. They did it pretty fast. It was a great rate.
