Aleks Construction

It did not go well. After calling Aleks several times I had to threaten to take him to court to get him to fulfill his contractual obligation in the backyard. Finally we had (so I thought) was a meeting of the minds. He did come back in two days to do the work. I was out of town and now I wish I was home to watch the work he did. 
The cement corners were reinforced but they look horrible. He should have smoothed out the cement to make it look like one piece instead of gobbed on cement where the cracking took place.
He did fill in the small part where the stucco was missing but where he filled in some cracks, he did not blend the cement or stucco or whatever he used with the design of the stucco which is swirly and not smooth. 
Now there's a big flat stripe going down the side of my house but the cracks were tiny and hardly noticeable. So there should have been just tiny cracks in stead of what he gave me. 
As I said I blame myself. I paid him $100 for his time and told him that I thought he did a horrible job.When I have the stucco repainted I will have to have that section redone, before painting to blend it in. HE IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL.
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

He was always on time.  He was available 24/7, if he said he'd be there in 15 minutes, he would be there. Always cleaned up after themselves. Polite and courteous. The price was very affordable. There was one mistake that I pointed out to them, they fixed at no charge. There were no complaints from neighbors, very quiet. I am already planning to use them again on another project in the near future. They were wonderful.

As the work was being done, I called the owner, Alex, to tell him his men were not scraping off the paint enough -- they were painting over peeled paint.  After several weeks of rain, my garage is peeling big time.  I called Alex a week ago with no response; called again and he came to my house after I specifically told him I would not be home at 5:30 p.m.  He came again this past week and told me his workers would be here Sunday, May 20th.  They never came and I never received a call from Alex.  This guy has only been in business for approximately 1 year.  He obviously has a lot to learn regarding professionalism and punctuality.  I would NEVER use this company again and NEVER recommend him for ANYTHING.

They were not on Angie's List. They do siding, roofing, masonry, carpentry, adjacent windows and doors. The weather had destroyed the steps and broken up the cement. The limestone slabs on the top of the steps were very loose. So, they did a great job of fixing that for me.
