Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend I recently had an unfortunate experience with this plumbing company, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment through this review. I had contacted them to diagnose and fix an issue with my toilet, which was occasionally experiencing bubbling when flushed. I had informed them about this issue when making the appointment and the fact that it did not happen every time. The person on the phone, Steve, was friendly and knowledgeable, suggesting that it could potentially be related to the vent needing cleaning. However, my experience took a frustrating turn when the technician arrived at my home. At the time of his arrival, the problem wasn't occurring, and I was told that they couldn't proceed with diagnosing the issue because of this. Additionally, I was informed that the height of my roof prevented them from conducting a roof inspection, something I wish I had been asked about in advance. This was a critical oversight, as my initial conversation with the company had already indicated that roof inspection might be necessary. To my astonishment, I was charged a substantial amount of money for a diagnostic that essentially amounted to nothing. I had anticipated a service fee, but I had hoped for a more proactive approach, considering the limited number of potential causes for a toilet malfunction. I would have expected them to, at the very least, investigate one or a few of these potential causes. They did not check any of the potential issues I had discussed with the person on the phone. All they did was flush my toilet, and when the problem didn't occur during their brief visit, they deemed it unfixable and charged me $200. I fully understand that plumbing issues can be complex and have multiple potential causes. However, I expected a professional plumbing company to thoroughly inspect the problem and provide a reasonable diagnosis, especially after discussing the potential issues over the phone. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. Additionally, during the visit, it was evident that one of the two plumbers who came to my home was still in the learning phase. I completely understand that everyone has to start somewhere, but one of the fundamental aspects of training should be how to conduct oneself professionally in a customer's home. This particular plumber did not wipe his feet upon entering, and stood there, stretching himself by holding onto my French doors without any consideration. This lack of professionalism was quite unsettling, as I believe that respecting a customer's property and space should be a top priority, even for trainees. It left me with a less than favorable impression of the overall service provided. I am extremely disappointed by my experience with this company, and I would advise others to exercise caution when considering them for plumbing services. While the initial conversation with the person on the phone seemed promising, the service provided by the technician did not meet even the basic standards of professionalism or thoroughness. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company for plumbing diagnostics or services.

They were perfect and were really good. Their prices were very fair and they were very friendly. They are family operated and were just a pleasure to work with. They are very trustworthy and I would definitely hire them again.

They are very good. THey've done multiple things, I can't even remember. They are high but they are very good.

Maybe the easiest work we've ever had completed. They came and gave estimates. Advised on where to go to get the toilets. Once they were delivered, an appointment was made and the toilets were installed. The installers were professional, left the areas clean. You would never know they were changed out.

We have used them for years, at our house and our rental house. They show up and are excellent. Our toilet rocked and wasn't stable. It turned out to be a broken flange, bolts needed to be replaced, he also recaulked around the bottom too. They also replaced the working parts inside the tank of another toilet at our home that was leaking.

Excellent. Quick response to diagnose and same day dispatch to fix. Awesome.

They did everything I asked and I couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend!

They called back right away, fit me in today on short notice, did a very clean and professional job. I only had a problem with them charging a service call fee of $60.00. I paid for materials, labor and parts and tax so why the additionL service fee????

They were awesome and honest. I needed a $7 part for an outside faucet repair. The part was specific to one company and only sold through specific plumbers who carried the brand. Caballero staff were beyond helpful. They treated me like I was a customer spending thousands. Always returning my call, ordering the part for me and even going out of their way to personally deliver it to my home. All for a $7 part.

This was a repair I normally could have done myself, but the cartridge was so embedded in the valve that it took them 30 minutes to free it. I was afraid I would destroy the valve if I did it, and replacing the entire valve would have been a huge job. It was really a one-man job, but they have two on the truck so you pay for two guys. The result of the repair was fine.

We called Caballero office. They set up an appointment right away for the owner to come to our house. He evulated what we needed done. Gave us a fair price and a date for when his men would be able to do the job. His crew was on time. The water heater was in a closet on a raised platform. It was not an easy job to do this installation. They got it done and cleaned up after themselves. When we sold the house a year later the inspector approved everything they did and we had no problems getting the continued COO required to sell.

Same day appt, on time repair. Have been a customer before and no question I would use them again

The plumber arrived on time and quickly looked at the broken faucet and told us he would repair it within a half hour. He also checked two other concerns we had and he gave us good advise. I would recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

Living in a slab home with a leak in the drain pipe was repaired by Caballero staff. Techs had experience in doing this type of work from jack hammering floor, repairing the rotted pipe and backfilling the dirt and applying new concrete. Techs were courteous and neat. I would use them again..

Our bathtubs have the old school type of drain that you have to put the stopper in. Well, our 3 year old daughter let a small washcloth go down and it's clog city. We are on a concrete slab so we knew this would be an undertaking. They tried less invasive means to no avail and it was decided they'd jackhammer, go through the pipes and find the dastardly rag. They did and our bathtub is up and running again. Throughout the process, they had to come by 3 or 4 times and they didn't charge us every visit. The work was done professionally and promptly and the owner was very easy to communicate with and kept us informed all along the way. We are impressed with their work and are happy we now have a go-to plumber!

Wally is the only technician I would use. He does a wonderful job. He's very reasonable and honest.

Called twice .. No call back . Explained situation .

Did a great job on the 2 slop sinks. Gentleman looked at the shower, did not take it apart or anything to see what the problem was. He advised us that he knew what the problem was and gave us an estimate for parts. They called us and I was not home. I called back twice and was advised that someone would call me the next morning. I never received a call. We got someone else to fix the shower.

We have used Caballero plumbing for a few jobs but when both of our showers backed up with dirty, rusty water right before Christmas, we were terrified! After trying drano and a home depot bought snake, I called Caballero plumbing to see if they could come out on the morning of Christmas Eve to help us. Not only did they come right away, they took care of the issue and their price was very reasonable. They are great to work with - I recommend them to anyone.

Since my basement was finished years ago without permits (long story), I decided to take advantage of the Amnesty Program that my town was offering to residents and get approval for the basement so that I can avoid potential issues down the road if we decide to sell our house. The plumber I hired to do my bathroom years back did not install a backwater valve so I needed to hire a plumber to break up the concrete floor, cut the existing sewer line, install a backwater valve, and re-cement the floor. In addition, I needed a new hot water heater installed with all new connections and fittings as my old one was installed incorrectly (by the same incompetent who did my bathroom). Finally, I needed a new P-trap under by bathroom pedestal sink and needed to have the toilet tank tightened. I called Caballero among others. Their price was on par with the other estimates I received but they seemed to have a better understanding of the job that needed to be done so I decided to give them the job. They arrived on time and completed the job in one day as promised (of course with the exception of re-cementing the floor as the township needed to come and inspect before they can complete). Their professionalism was outstanding and the work they performed was impeccable. They cleaned up when they were done and needless to say we passed inspection with flying colors. I will definitely use Caballero again on future jobs.

I felt their price was outrageously high. I did not have them do any work.

The estimator was very professional and arrived on time. He emailed me a detailed estimate in a very timely manner. I faxed the signed estimate back to the company (as requested) and then called to schedule the work approximately a week later. I did have to call about 3 times to actually get the work scheduled (hence the "C" grade in the responsiveness category). The work was scheduled for a week out. The two plumbers arrived on time and did a great job. They were professional and stuck to the estimate. They did have to complete one additional item when they were here in order to complete the estimated job (we live in an old house so this is to be expected....) and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

Called Caballero after a plumber not on Angies list never showed. They were at my house in 10 minutes after placing the call. They performed the repair quick and neat. I'll use them again for all plumbing, as well as bathroom re-modeling They were professional and pricing was great !!

.The person giving the quote showed up 1 1/2 hours late. Several calls to determine where he was resulted in assurances he would soon be there, which was untrue. When he did arrive he was unapologetic about his lateness. Several days later I received a quote via e-mail that was for $3445.00. I wrote back asking what the estimate was for the time to complete the job and was told one day. I wrote back again asking why, then, would the charge be over $300 an hour, and never received a response. The distance to run the pipes is not great, however it requires working in the crawl space under the unit, and would be unpleasant and difficult. If the company did not want to do the job because it was unpleasant and difficult I could accept that. To give me an estimate that is ridiculously high, however, is insulting

They did an excellent job. They were clean, neat, and professional. They came on time.
