We used the area for storage where the mold was in our basement.  We thought we were going to have to dispose all of the items we had stored. but Mr. Caso advised us that since they were kept in plastic bags that he would decontaminate the bags and put the items in clean bags so that we would not have to lose them.  We were happy about that.  He then took care of the area in which there was mold, sealed the area and advised us what to do in 24-48 hours.  After removing the tape where the room was sealed, we were to wipe down the shelves and wash the floors where the residue would be. He told us to call him at any time if we had any questions or concerns.  We feel confident that the mold problem has been solved, and we know that we can rely on Mr. Caso.

This had to be one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor. Not only friendly, but knowledgeable, and very reliable. I needed a inspection done like now and sure enough he was able to fit me in. He was also able to come the very next day and perform the work needed. He arrived on time and he and his crew did an outstanding job. They cleaned do up after completing the work leaving a spotless basement for me.
I would highly recommend this company. If I ever need this type of service again I would not hesitate to call them.

The mold removal took them about half a day and they fixed the ceiling, plaster and painted afterward; and that took one day. For the mold removal 2 workers came out and the 3 came out to fix the ceiling, plaster and paint. We found this company through Angie's List. They did a great job. They were polite, courteous and really really clean. They also stuck with the estimate they gave us.

Jeff is wonderful to work with.  He is knowledgeable, experienced and very pleasant.  I was suffering from air quality issues (allergies, chronic sinusitis, fogginess) in my brand new glass box condominium.  After months of trying to figure out what the problem was, I called Jeff to take a look.  He only needed to test a few spots and told me any more would have been unnecessary (and a waste of money).  He knew exactly where to test.  Later that week I found out I had several molds in my  vents.  He came back a week later with a colleague and thoroughly cleaned and treated the affected areas.  A few weeks later, I noticed a little more dampness in my guest bath so he returned and fogged the room and affected vents.  In the months following, the dampness in my apartment subsided and my respiratory symptoms got markedly better. 

Fast forward three months, I wanted to make sure that a prior heavy leak I had wasn't causing any more mold issues.  Jeff came by and used his scope to check behind my walls etc.  He didn't even charge me for the follow up.  Jeff stands by his service.  Hands down a pleasurable and cost effective experience.

The job was done to my satisfaction 100%. Jeff, Chico and one other worker were prompt, efficient and cleaned up after themselves and left my home as if it was just cleaned. If you have a mold problem I would definitely recommend speaking to Jeff and having him provide you an estimate. He was not pushy and fully explained what needed to be done. I felt a got a high quality job for a great price. I would definitely recommend them to do any mold job.

They said they would be there at a particular time and kept me up to date as they were finishing up a job at another location.When they arrived they explained what the process would be and what I should expect from their service. They took over an hour to do a thorough inspection and made me feel comfortable that I picked a reputable business to handle the job. Working with the owner Jeff we discussed potentially filing a homeowners claim and he said he would provide any assistance necessary in order to properly explain the situation to the insurance company. I took a couple of days to decide how to handle and called back to schedule the work to be done ASAP.

Amazing.  I cannot say enought great things about this company and it's employees.  From beginning to end they were totally professional and spot on.  They were able to address the situation immediately and fix the problem.  They were a pleasure to deal with and explained everything (multiple times) in detail.  They did exactly what they promised and more and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work that was done.  They even cleaned up everything until it was spotless and they even checked back the next day to see if everything was ok or if I needed anything.  I would definately recommend this company to anyone looking to resolve any mold or mold related problems.

Why do you not have a "+" rating system?  I would give Bio-Tech an A+ on every aspect of this experience!  
The owner, Jeff Caso, spent a great deal of time on the phone, and several hours reviewing options and thoroughly evaluating the site prior my engaging this family-owned business.  He assured me that the reason his prices were so reasonable was that the whole family works in the company.  This pride of ownership raises the bar on how the team performs.  There is a solid group of professionals who could not have done a better job, and I told Jeff when he left last night at 9 PM (well beyond the estimated time of 4 PM that he originally anticipated) that they had  more than exceeded my expectations.
It was an exceptionally hot and humid day, but they soldiered on in their hazmat suits and covered shoes.  Jeff wants to make sure everyone is safe, and thus the suits.  He also had a huge cooler of iced water that he made available for the team. It is clear that the crew hold Jeff in total awe.  Separately to me and without prompting, they shared their comments  about how Jeff holds histeam to the highest standards of performance.  I was amazed when watching them lugging all the heavy pieces upstairs how they did so without complaining and moved at a steady pace.  Chico, Vincent, Julio, Stephanie, as well as Jeff, seemed to be enjoying their work with pleasant smiles and easy humor.  This tempered the awful conditions that they found as a result of the previously horrific work behind walls where disgusting trash had been thrown and hidden by HarborView workers, much to my shock and disgust.  I learned that this negligence was the cause of the return of the mold.
Bio-Tech Restoration is a gem.  For anyone who has had any bad experience with mold in Staten Island, let me shout this from rooftop (happily, no mold attacked there).  This is one of the most professional groups I have ever encountered in my life!  They will treat your home as if it were their own.  How great to have such a negative experience turn into such a postive!

The price was originally set at $ 1600.00 but due to the extra work necessary to remove all the paneling and the extra chemicals used to spray the entire basement and remove all the debris to two portable dumpsters I had purchased when we realized just how much garbage this entailed .Jeff and his team could not have been nicer or more helpful. I would certainly use Jeff and the workers again but after the careful spraying of the walls and floors they did I shouldn't have to !

I hired the company after my home was flooded due to Super Storm Sandy in 2012. The crew was very professional. They were very punctual and provided a very detailed estimate for the project. They came in an extra day, prior to removing the mold, for demolition. Although they weren't able to remove all the debris from the premises, they neatly bundled the trash so I could have it removed by sanitation. They also took photos prior to, during and after the job was completed. This was very helpful because I needed to have proof of the process in case my insurance company wanted documentation.

Jeff and the team showed up promptly at 7:45 am and worked all day until the fumigation was done at 5 pm.  Every step was explained in detail and Jeff called me down to show me where they were at and how the progress was coming along.  

Jeff called me down and advised me when they found my furnace to b leaking and I was able to get it taken care of that day, within hours. 

I had a wonderful experience with Jeff and the Biotech team.  I highly recommend using them if you find yourself with a problem. The whole house smelled so fresh and clean that i cannot thank them enough fr ridding me of the smell and all the damage that was found.  It was a whole new basement that looks 100% better and different from what it did at the start. 

The work is phenomenal and thank you again.
