Art and all his guys were prompt, courteous, and professional. Communication was frequent as well. We're very pleased with the work.

Working with Arthur was a pleasure. He is a builder with great vision and integrity. Arthur coordinated all work on the project and was always willing to do more. He was very attentive to our family's needs and quick to respond. He was very conscientious of everything from safety, spending, timing the project, and doing the project right. We lived in our home for most of the project, which wasn't easy, Art, his associates and contractors that he brought in were respectful of our home and family. Always cleaned up at end of the day and especially over the weekends. Arthur always handled problems himself immediately and came up with mutually agreeable solutions. He even had his men help us move furniture to and from storage. Arthur more than made up for a little higher price with his knowledge, experience, responsiveness, cleanliness and continued customer service and standing behind his work.

I hired Art a few years ago to do our master bath and when it came time to do our kitchen, I went right back to him. He is extremely easy to work with and helpful in solving individual problems that arise in a project. His workers are considerate, professional and clean up every day. Art checked frequently to make sure things were progressing properly and was always responsive to texts and phone calls. I highly recommend him and would hire him again if I have major work to do.

Where do I begin? Why don't I start from the very first email I sent out to Arthur. His prompt response and helpful attitude was just the beginning for me and my family. Arthur came out to our house within days of contacting him with vendors, contact information, business cards and a measuring tape. From the moment we met him, we knew he and his team would be the ones to transform our kitchen into the one we have been dreaming of having. He assured us from the very beginning that we would stay within our budget and that he would do a job that we would be proud of (and we were). Within a few weeks, Arthur had blue prints sketched and I was on my way to various vendors picking out counter tops and cabinets. Arthur was very easy to communicate with. He would always answer my phone calls or texts, and if he didnt, he would return my call in a timely manner. He was very helpful in helping us decide which materials would last a long time within our budget. He was always honest with his opinions and took ours into consideration. Once the construction started, the kitchen was done within two to three weeks. His team was at our house everyday around 8am (exactly when they were supposed to be) and left in the evening. They did an exceptional job on our kitchen and were more than willing to make suggestions and touch up any other areas that needed fixing. Arthur would come out in the evenings to make sure the site looked good and that the project was moving along as it should. With any minor set back, Arthur made us feel calm and always had a solution, and trust me, for someone who doesn't know much about construction, his expertise was of utmost importance. When the kitchen was finally done, we were in awe over the job that was done, It didnt even look like our old kitchen. Everything from the trim, paint job, crown molding to back splash was perfect and clean. We are so happy we chose Arthur Hubert Construction and we will be using him for years to come on other household projects. For anyone looking for trustworthy and honest people (not to mention a job well done) Arthur and his team are the ones for you!!

We hired Arthur to remodel our kitchen and family room. Right from the start he was a pleasure to work with. He took a lot of time to review the job and consider all aspects of the renovation up front. He brought in his architect, plumber and electrician to see the house before any work was done so that we had a really good idea of what work was involved before the renovation started. He gave us a proposal of estimated costs and frequently met with us throughout the process to review actual costs and further nail down what was still to come. Arthur has a team of professionals that work for him and I was very pleased with everyone who worked on this job. From his carpenters to his electrician, plumber, architect, tile and paint professionals - each and every one were experts at their jobs and a pleasure to deal with. No complaints at all with the group that worked daily in and out of our home. They were always considerate of the family. They cleaned up each and every day and tried very hard to make the time that we were without our kitchen as short as possible. Arthur is so professional, but also such a friendly guy and very easy to talk to. He would call us every couple of days just to see how things were going and would stop by to check on the work. I was really impressed by that and always felt that this job was a priority to him. I know that a lot of times when you don't have this level of attention a renovation can be a miserable experience but I have no complaints at all. I would 100% recommend A. Hubert Construction to anyone I meet.

We have had Arthur do many jobs for us in the past, and he has always been a gentleman: knowledgeable, helpful in every way, non-pushy, devoted to giving you good work. All the people he chose to do the work were very skilled, and he checked on them and with us constantly. He is a top-notch, class act.

• Overall,  we were very satisfied with the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of the various contractors. Mr. Hubert was very flexible as our plans changed, and checked in with us each night to ensure we were satisfied with the work performed that day. He also called each morning to tell us when his crew woud be arriving. After daily work was performed, the house was left as clean and organized as could be expected. We were particularly happy with the painting crew who returned several times to attend to even the smallest imperfections. We would highly recommend Hubert Construction.

  We contacted Arthur of A. Hubert Construction to discuss adding a screened in porch to the back of our house.  Arthur was very professional and had many good ideas about the best design, based on our extensive wish list.  Arthur drew up a preliminary schematic drawing to help us visualize how the porch would look.    

  We like Arthur's work ethic, his willingness to listen to our ideas and to let us know if they would work or not, and the reasons why.  He was very upfront about what would be involved in building this porch.  We plan on contacting Arthur in the spring to proceed with plans for a front porch and discuss a concrete patio in lieu of a screened in porch out back.

y pleased the way things turned out.Everything went well, we had toilets, vanities, faucets, medicine cabinets, lighting fixtures and mirrors installed by Arthur and his crew. They had to do some sheetrock repair, and of course some issues came up that were unplanned but were taken care of without any problems.

We wanted to get a facelift for our very outdated kitchen, which also had our washer and dryer in it. The challenge was we wanted eliminate the washer and dryer if possible, and try to come up with a better layout to give us more room.  We had several contractors come out to give us estimates and try to brainstorm for the laundry issue.  When Arthur came over, he looked at the whole house to try and come up with a solution to the laundry issue, and to add some more room to the kitchen.  He also took measurements of everything to give a rough estimate of how much room we would have with the new layout. The initial meeting took about 45 minutes, and I felt that Arthur really took the time look at everything before giving us a quote, something I did not feel with the other contractors that were contacted. He was even able to provide places to start looking for cabinets that were within our budget right off the bat. Construction started promptly after the we had a contract. Throughout the process, Art and his crew went to great lengths to keep the rest of the house in order. They put up tarps to contain the dust from the kitchen, and plastic on the carpet to not track in anything.  There was great communication every step of the way, and Arthur's attention to detail and professionalism was fantastic.  He and his crew were able to take all the issues that were found in the house in stride, and was able to resolve them often without adding to the final tab.  He normally gave me a call at the end of the week to just give an update on how everything was progressing, and what the next weeks work would include.  If we ever had a question, he was available to answer it whether it was 9am or 9pm, and he always got back to you promptly.  When all was said and done, we had a new kitchen and laundry room in about a month with no headaches.  We will definitely be using Arthur and his crew again!

I hired Arthur to do a renovation which included a kitchen, a master bath, and an addition for a laundry area and a half bath .  What makes Arthur unusual as a contractor (at least based on my experience) is that he truly cares about the quality of his work.  It was clear that he takes pride in making sure you are happy with the finished product.  He is very accessible, willing to answer questions, and work with your ideas.  I would recommend using Arthur.

The AHubert Construction crew went over and above what was expected in every step of the renovation.Arthur and the guys always listened to my concerns and did their best to remedy any issues that came up.They were honest, efficient and most of all they listened and did everything possible to create the best renovation experience possible?

We had used Arthur Hubert Construction for the renovation of our Master Bathroom the previous year and had been very pleased with the job and his service.  As a result of this interaction, we again called Arthur to give us an estimate for the remodeling of our kitchen and a small bathroom.
  
He came back with a good estimate for the complete demolition of these two rooms.  After visiting with a cabinet company,  we selected our cabinets and the work began.  Working with Arthur is always a pleasant experience because he gets back to you in record time.  Whether it is by email, text or telephone, Arthur is there to answer questions and reassure you with any concerns you mights have.  His workers are always courteous, prompt and professional.
Work on the kitchen began within the week with the demolition of our kitchen and bathroom.  The electrician came in as soon as this was completed and the electrical work was begun.  All the work was done in a timely manner.  The delays we experienced were due to some of the cabinetry arriving damaged.  Arthur was always insistent that the cabinet company should replace any of the damaged cabinets.  He wanted us to be completely happy with his work and would do what was needed to accomplish this.
We were completely satisfied with the beautiful work that was done by he and his staff.

The job was not an easy one from the beginning. Art certainly had his work cut out for him. Our house was old, poorly maintained when we purchased it and oddly built. Art and I worked closely together to figure out how exactly to maximize the space while achieving everything we wanted. Art had come up with various designs and we finally came out with a design that we agreed would really work. He communicated well during the process and always made me felt that my job was the only one he was working on, even though I know it wasn't.  The area Art worked on came out looking amazing. Great quality of work. This new area he built for us with a laundry room and bathroom looks like it was always there, just updated. Art is a perfectionist and really is hands on during the entire process and knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it.

A. Hubert Construction recently completed renovating a master bathroom and my husband and I were very satisfied with the project.  Arthur was very responsive throughout the entire project and his crew was very professional and punctual, always taking care to be neat and clean.  Arthur, as well as his subcontractors were very professional and excellent at their trade. My husband and I would definitely use Arthur again for future home projects.

Called and set up an appointment to get an estimate for a kitchen remodel and to have hardwood floors installed throughout my home.  Nice enough guy on the phone.  Never showed for the estimate or even called.

*UPDATE...Then note he posted below is not true.  We had a firm appointment scheduled and he was a no show.  He called me a couple weeks later and could not even remember my name.  Told me he had an emergency and bla bla bla, wanted to reschedule.  I wont work with unreliable contractors and especially ones who fabricate excuses.

I contacted Arthur based on his excellent reviews on Angie's list and he did not disappoint. He is a professional who is generous with his time and knows what he is doing. I have an area of my first floor that is sagging, causing a door to not close properly and some cracking in the walls at the corners. He came out to my house twice to discuss my options. Each time he came out he spent about an hour looking at the problem, explaining it to me, and suggesting how to fix it. His proposed solution made total sense. This was a significant job, involving sheetrock removal, jacking up the portion of the joists involved, associated carpentry, and replacement of all sheetrock. The estimate was for about $4000, which I thought was very fair for that amount of work. He also explained to me the alternatives that I had, including doing nothing (a great sign of honesty). After tentatively deciding to proceed, I ended up deciding to keep an eye on it and do nothing for now, largely out of concern for collateral damage to an expensive tile floor above the area to be moved (which Arthur pointed out as a concern). If it gets worse and I decide to take the plunge, I'll have Arthur do the work. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Arthur.

The experience I had with them was very good. There are no problems with the construction. They're very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing.

Everything went well, and we are very happy with outcome.  Arthur, his employees, and all other sub-contractors were very courteous and professional.

Arthur's team did an excellent job of rebuilding roof structure that was water damaged.  He save me money by using existing good portion of roof and replacing the damaged beams.
Once structure was rebuild a new roof was put on using high quality material and workmanship.
Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for in the repair and would hire him again.

The project went well. Art was prompt in getting me an estimate and allowed for adjustments for doing some of the work myself to limit costs. His crew was neat and trustworthy and accomidating. Overall the two projects went very well. We also had him install a window in a stairway to give the area more light. That was quick and easy. His worker Rich did a real nice job with the tile work in both baths.
