We wanted to renovate our Master Bath - removing the current shower and jacuzzi tub; replacing them with a spa quality steam shower.  The room is large by bathroom standards, and the plan was not to replace the tub. So we wanted a design that looked modern, and felt like a spa, but that did not look like something was "missing" without a tub.  The focal point is the steam shower and we needed help pulling the design together so the room looked and felt the way we imaged it.  Arthur Hubert helped with the design, making suggestions when cost and construction issues were a decision point in the process.  We chose a difficult tile for the room that was chore to work with but he and his sub contractors worked with it and the final result is absolutely beautiful!   We also had a special request to save the original mirror in the bathroom because I could not find a new one that was as large and worked as well as the current one did.  His demolition team did a great job of taking down the mirror and getting it back up in 1 piece when the project was finished   We are very pleased with the work Hubert Construction did and plan to use him again when we remodel the other full bath in our home.

I received quotes from 4 contractors. The bids were competitive but we gelt very comfortable with Hubert Construction. Art estimated the job himself and spent over an hour making sure he understood the job and our expectations. We had a short window to get the project completed and Art worked with us. He was able to start the project within one week and completed the job in 3 days. On time and budget. He was always available by phone and email and even reported on how the painting contractor was doing even though it was not part of his scope. Couldn't be happier! Highly recommend Hubert Construction.

"I spoke to this member and we discussed her project in detail. She made a point of telling me that she and her husband typically do their own remodeling and had their own home inspection company. The scope of the work would involve redoing the foundation of the home and would require a mason and excavator to come out for estimated costs. I explained to this member that I was very busy and asked what evenings would be the best time to set up an appointment. She provided a few days and I said I would call to confirm if I could make it on one of those days but nothing was firmly scheduled at this point. I am sorry to see from this report that this member was not willing to wait to set up a time. I have tried to contact her via a phone a couple times as well."

He was great, he was responsive, he was communicative, he got our construction within a week of the estimated deadline, which I consider miraculous for a construction.  He has talented sub-contractors and when he uses them, manages well.  The work lasted beautifully.  I recommend him often to others.  After seeing our work, the inspector from Middletown, New Jersey also started recommending him.  He is not the least expensive but his prices are fair to what he does.  The work is really good and on time.  Once, I went with a cheaper contractor and then I brought Hubert in to fix it.  I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

     Art and his team completely remodeled the bathroom from the studs out. They removed all debris and cleaned up thoroughly every day. There were a couple of problems, for instance the floor was not level for the ceramic tile install. He corrected the problem and the tile job looks awesome. He also offered some suggestions that made the bathroom appear bigger by removing an unnecessary soffit over the shower door. He also changed the entrance door to the bathroom to open out into the bedroom, which provided better access and space when entering. This was my uncles's house. He is 88 and had great difficulty adjusting to all the workers with early hours and so on. Art was more than accommodating, by starting a little later or whatever we needed. To speed up the length of time in completion, he and his team worked all through the weekend and stayed late some days to get it done as soon as possible, but without cutting corners. His work exceeds acceptable. He is by far, what any homeowner could hope for in trusting that a job will be well done, on time, with a smile. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for the old fashioned values and money well spent. He is worth every penny.

It was a very good experience. He's very professional. The workmanship was detailed. The big front door he put had two side lights and they were very careful with putting in the door to make sure they met the moldings exactly on the door. They took all day long and did a bang up job. They did a really good clean up. They did not leave shavings or scraps anywhere.

Art was the general contractor.  He was very nice to deal with and very responsive.  He worked with us to come to a price that was agreeable for both of us.  His workers are extremely nice and professional.  They did excellent work and cleaned up every night before they left.  I would definitely recommend Hubert Construction highly.

We had some problems ordering the materials so the work has not been done yet.  The work will be done after the first of the year.  I am very pleased with the appearance of things through the contractors.  He seems like a very straight forward, nice person.   Even the people at the lumber yard were impressed by him.  The paper work that he supplied me to go to the lumber yard showed them that he obviously knew what he doing.

I found Arthur Hubert Construction in the Asbury Park Press Tel 732-673-8205. He is the only one that showed up after calling 10 other Contractors listed in the paper. He is very dependable. Arthur gave us a time and date he would start. His workers were very prompt and very knowledgeable with the work that had to be done. The workers were very clean and asked us for any comments to insure work was going along to our expectations. For everything that was done it was done very quickly we are happy with the results on scale of 1 to 10 1 being the lowest and 10 the best Arthur Hubert Construction is 10.
