I had a leaking toilet. The technician came and was very honest and told me to try to tighten the screws. If that doesn't work then a new wax ring will be needed and it would cost $150 to remove, put new wax ring, put toilet back. I could call back to make an appointment if the screw tightening didn't work. So I tightened the mounting screws on toilet and that did the trick. Very honest and they saved me $150. They made there in the heavy snow...excellent company!!!!

They did a wonderful job. They were neat. They were prompt. They did everything really well. They showed up on time, they did their work, they cleaned up after themselves and they were excellent. They let me know what they were doing and they were diligent. They were pretty quick. They had to dig up my whole front yard so it did take two days but it was not something they were anticipating.

Few things are more depressing to a home owner than to discover water leaking into your kitchen from the ceiling. Caused by a cracked fitting on the cold water feed into the toilet tank on the second floor, I knew just who to call: A. Bailey Plumbing. I've used them several times now. A medium-sized outfit, they are strictly professional in the best sense: Good answering service; they are there within the time they say they will appear; and the office calls you when they are on their way so you don't get caught unawares making a 'pit stop' when the doorbell rings! They are able to estimate time well and can quote prices from a reasonable price list (for plumbing, anyway). Parts & labor are guaranteed for varying time ranges depending on the project - even a small one like this one is covered for a year. Even got the same person from two years ago - must be good if they keep their workers!

We had bad leaks in our 2nd floor bathroom that were going all the way down to our basement. It was a Saturday and we were unable to reach any private plumbers so we looked in the yellow pages and found A Bailey. We saw they had a good rating in Angie's List so I called them. They were able to send some one over in about an hour and half. Although he was prompt, polite and completed the work efficiently, the price was absolutely outrageous. The parts that were replaced were definitely less than $50 (probably less than $30) and he was there for only about an hour and the total bill was $357 (including a $25 off coupon from the phone book). I asked if the charge was more for Saturday and he said, no, it was their standard price. Even for emergency service, this is a ripoff. The labor rate was over $300 an hour. Their "we charge by the job, not by the hour" policy is just an excuse to charge absurd prices. I will not use them again.

An appointment was made for the morning following my call with an estimated arrival between 9 and 12 noon and I had asked if could be as early as possible. To my surprise and satisfaction they arrived just prior to 9am. The problem was quickly identified and an estimate given. Work was completed within 2 hours with complete cleanup and removal of debris. We would definitely use and recommend Bailey Plumbing to everyone!!! AAA+++

They have same day service and have lots of trucks that are well marked and can help you immediately. They have been very helpful with the plumbing issues. I did have one situation where they installed a garbage disposal that was not completed properly. They did come back out and fix the problem. Their pricing is reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone. Generally I feel when you are hiring contractors to do a project, you are unsure of their work, but I feel completely safe with them

By the next morning the water was almost all gone. I called them back to fix the boiler as their botched job caused the flood. The technicians who arrived were rude and abusive from the moment they arrived, using foul language and behaving in a threatening manner. They told me it would cost $200 to repair my boiler. I balked at paying as it had been their fault. They said "We're out of here" and packed up their tools. I am a widow, disabled by MS and had not had heat for two days. I followed them out in the blizzard, crying and begging them to fix my boiler, but all they did was call me names. I called the owner and he called me an 'abnormal person' and he was now going to report me for having sewage in my basement and he would make sure i was paying fines until I was 100. Now he said if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay with cash and the technician said now it would be $600. My son arrived and tried to resolve the matter, but they ended up being aggressive with him as well. They left without doing the repair. Another repairman fixed the boiler in 20 minutes with a part that cost less than $50. But my basement is fully covered with mud and sewage.

The plumber was very professional and answered all my questions completely. He did the job right after quoting it, and completed it in a reasonable time - he was careful and did not rush, nor did he waste any time. The price seems just a little high for such a small job, but it was a good value and I'm completely satisfied with the results.

We called them at about 8.30 am and they were here by around 10.45 am. It was a pretty quick turnaround. They dressed very neatly and didn?t make a mess. Some people come in and make a total mess, but Bailey's Plumbing & Heating didn?t. They cleaned up after themselves, which I appreciated.

They gave me an immediate response. When they couldn't snake the main, they made an appointment to see where the main was blocked and found out they couldn't get through it with a snake and they would have to dig it up. The price was really reasonable and they got it done on time, no problem.

Wonderful company to deal with, from the office staff answering the phones to the serviceman showing up and performing the work. The office staff were very polite and helpful. They sent a serviceman out and he showed up in less than 60 minutes. He made the repairs and I was quite surprised the cost was very reasonable for the work performed. AAA+ Company.

The sump pump died and caused minor flooding in the basement on a Saturday. On Sunday, I called A.Bailey, and a plumber from a subcontractor showed up. He took a look at the water and sump pump, said I needed a new one, and left to go get one. Before he left, he gave me a price. About an hour and a half later, he returned. The work took about an hour. The plumber got rid of the old sump pump and the new one seems to be working fine. *Note: Later I looked up the price of the sump pump, and it seemed pretty cheap, so labor was awfully expensive for an hour-long job.

I found Bailey in the phone book. I called for an estimate and they gave me the lowest price. Also, they did not charge for the estimate. When I first called, a live person answered the phone and set up a visit the next business day. Tim arrived right on schedule, was friendly, evaluated the situation quickly, and gave the estimate. I gave him the job right then and there as his price was the lowest and, after having five plumbers visit, I needed to get this job done, even though it was not an emergency (it was a slow leak). On the day of the actual work, Tim arrived right on schedule, spent a short time checking the pipes and furnace, and then went to work. From start to finish was 3.5 hours. He replaced an old leaking radiator in the bathroom along with its connecting pipes. Then he flushed out the entire hot water system, which was full of sediment. This alone took about 20 minutes. When he was done everything looked and worked fine. Tim also cleaned up before he left. He took the old radiator, pipes, and other parts with him. He didnt leave any garbage behind. In addition, he gave me a written warranty which guaranteed all the work for one year. I thought Tim was quick and efficient. At first, I remained with him in the basement to watch and see how he works, but after a while I decided he could be trusted to work without my supervision. Tim is a no-nonsense guy who got the job done. I would hire him again.

A Baileys Plumbing were here very quickly and this was out of hours so we really appreciated their fast response. This is a very conscientious and thorough company. I thought their price was very good considering this was out of their regular hours. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
