We wanted to buy a puppy. Paid deposit of $500. Before we picked it up, due to this situation of Covid and financial hardship, we called and asked to cancel. Although they had another buyer, still insisted to take our money. I think that when we say "we are all in this together" doesn't mean that there shouldn't be understanding, and to take advantage of the customer just because of the policy. Its not that they lost money, but wanted to earn from both. Not fair business approach!

They are actually really good with my dog. He hates going to the vet and the groomers, but he doesn't mind too much going there. They really pamper him and I've never had a problem where he comes out with any cuts. Everything is pretty much groomed to my liking and he's happy, and that's what counts.

Great! She looks beautiful and smells sweet and clean. I especially like how they trimmed the long hair around her rear end. Other groomers did it in a way that looked choppy and fake but at Troys they trimmed carefully so she looks natural.

"We are very sorry you were not happy with our services. But we explained to you since your pet hadn't been groomed in a long time that the best thing would be to shave off all the matted hair and not to demat the dog since this will cause the dog much discomfort. We explained this to you but you still wanted us to demat the dog, so in the best interest of your pet we decided that we could not groom your pet. Dematting any pet takes time and most of the times makes the whole grooming experience not a pleasurable one...."

Troy's Trims and Treats is a grooming "salon" as far as I am concerned! My dog is probably not the best behaved (so I was told by another groomer) when it comes to being groomed, but this groomer obviously takes it in stride and I always receive a beautifully groomed dog when they've finished. Which shows me that they know what they're doing, "big time" and in a caring environment! I took him here after getting a poor job (with no apologies) from one I'd been going to for over a year. I like to see specific details and I not only get them, the way I want them, but with no problems what-so-ever. He always looks perfectly up to my standards, not what someone else may choose to do, and you can actually watch them (thru a glass partition) at work and see how clean and well cared for the dogs are. Elly is sometimes rushed, but always has time to set the appointment at a time convenient to her customers. Am very happy to recommend them to anyone!
