Jenns Pet Grooming

My dog genuinely likes Jennifer and enjoys his grooming. He comes out handsome with a lovely dog cologne.

My search for a dog groomer has ended! In a word, Jenn is simply SPECTACULAR! I drive nearly an hour to get to her and it is well worth it. I could go to many other groomers very close to my home (and have tried many) but no one else has come close to providing the excellent services that Jenn does. I have 3 very different breeds: a Husky, a Cocker Spaniel and a Morkie, and she does a beautiful job on all of them...no other groomer come close! She only has one customer's dogs in her shop at a time, and that in itself is awesome, too! Don't hesitate to go to Jenn!!!

Jenn groomed my dog - a miniature schnauzer mix. He is an older rescue and I've had problems finding a groomer with the patience to work with him! It's so nice to be able to wait and even watch the process! I don't know how she does it but she does!
My dog looks so cute and he didn't get all stressed out!
I highly recommend Jenn! And her storefront shop is so welcoming!

Jenn was fantastic!  I can't say enough about her and my experience.  My 4yr old german shepherd was never groomed professionally.  I always gave him a bath and took one along with him (lol).  Jenn was recommended to me by my dog trainer because she herself owns a german shepherd and loves the breed.  My mind was put at ease knowing this because I knew then that she would be able to handle him and knew how to go about it.  I arrived at the place of business and Jenn came out to greet us.  I handed over the leash and was about to leave and she said "no, don't leave, stay I have a couch and you can sit and watch." Well after hearing that I knew I found gold with Jenn.  I thought to myself what groomer wants you to stay and that was another one of my hesitations because you really don't know how your dog is treated out of your sight and one hears all these horror stories.  So I stayed and she was superb with my boy.  She went straight to work, clipped his nails, cleaned his ears and then gave him a bath with the "Cadillac" of machines to dispense the shampoo and water.  The spray went deep under his double coat right to his skin and he was loving every minute of it.  He had a big smile on his face and was very relaxed.  Jenn did it twice and scrub him real good, applied conditioner, blow dried him with a powerhouse dryer and put the finishing touches of cologne and a scarf. He was so soft as a mink and still is to this day.  Every room I go into my house I can smell him and how clean he smells.  Jenn made the experience exceptionally positively memorable for my german shepherd and put my mind at ease. I have already used Jenn again for my rott mix girl who's scared of her own shadow on 4/3/15. I cannot say enough about Jenn.  She was professional, very well experienced and treated my dogs super, super well with excellent smelling results.

No question that I will continue to use her service, It was the best miniature schnauzer cut for my pet, includes washing, shaving, nail trimming, and drying.

I have never been to a dog groomer before.  I usually washed my dog in the bathtub and had a sore back for the next few days.  I just joined Angie's list looking for contractors, etc.  On a whim, I looked up dog groomers.   I picked Jenns Pet Grooming because she had the most positive reviews and she wasn't that far away.  I was a bit concerned because I figured most groomers have more experience with small dogs and dogs that need clipping.  Jenn HAS a German Shepherd and was comfortable working with them.  My dog allowed her to cut his nails (normally a back breaking ordeal), was much more cooperative than I expected him to be.  He was never in a cage, just clipped onto overhead hook for his safety and clipped to the raised wash basin while being washed.  She actually gave him two baths and got him unbelievably clean.  She dried him with a high powered blow dryer and combed him until every bit of undercoat came off.  She suggested I use a dog comb rather than the furminator I had been using.  I got one right away and comb him every day.  It has been so easy to comb him since his bath.  I will definitely go back to Jenn and will continue to recommend her.  She works out of her house on one dog at a time.  I think this makes the dog more comfortable; it's a very relaxed but professional environment. 

We love Jenn.  Our 12 year old Maltese is very sensitive and doesn't react well to most groomers.  Trips to PetSmart were usually a disaster.
Jenn was so patient with him and he loved every minute.  I think the individualized treatment did the trick, and the wait time of just over an hour was greatly appreciated.
We will be back.

Best experience I have had.

Jen, was extremely caring and professional!  Showed compassion towards my cat as she skillfully shaved out the matts from my cats fur......speaking to him in a soft calming voice.  My cat throughout this ordeal did not seem to mind but for only a few times as he was getting a little impatient as the grooming took a couple of hours.  He looked beautiful and even licked her fingure, he felt so relieved no longer having the  matted fur tug against his skin.  Jen bathed him in some wonder smelling shampoos and adorned him with a beautiful bandana.   I highly recommend Jen for your pets grooming.

Jennifer was very sweet and very professional. Jennifer even let me stay while she was cutting my dogs hair!! I really liked that there is only one dog at the time in her salon.  And she does not put dogs in to the cage and let them wait forever like other grooming salon would. My dog is a toy poodle and she was done in about one hour, from shampoo to hair cut to nail clipping. Which is amazing!! I use to wait about 3 to 4 hours at different salon so an hour is great and no stress to my dog too.  I will defiantly go back to Jennifer and recommend her to any other dog owners.

This is a one person shop where only one dog is cared for at a time.   It is quiet; there are no kennels full of dogs. .    I have been to several groomers and Jenn is the best. I have had another groomer tell me that they will charge me more next time because my dog was skittish!   Her shop is clean and she is very gentle with my dog.  She lets me stay in the while she grooms my goldendoodle when most groomers discourage that.   She uses gentle products that do not irritate my dog's eyes or ears.  In addition, her hours are very flexible; she'll make an appointment  pretty much any time of the day or evening.  Most importantly, my dog looks great when she's done!
