Great experience from the first call to the last box on the truck. Shelly was professional, patient and complete with her estimate on the job. The movers were careful and creative with maneuvering items out also Covid compliant. Very pleased!!!

It went great. The men on the job were respectful and very careful not to damage our furniture or home.

Awesome is just not the right word to describe my experience with Atlantic Coast Moving and Storage, Inc. the men moved my piano just as if it was their own. Wow, what customer service, I am so impressed. They discussed with me the best options of moving my baby grand into my house and then they gave me a cover for the piano as I finish my renovations in the house. I would hire the company again and again...

It was so great. Chris and his crew were wonderful. They treated my belongings as if they were their own. I was very impressed with them and would recommend Atlantic Coast Moving and Storage to everyone.

We had to move out of our home during a nor'easter which is as bad as a hurricane. They sent extra men and did an outstanding job under challenging conditons! We had a few things missing and they went out of there way to find them. The head of the crew even came to our new house at night with his son. Even after the work was done we still received exceptional service.

Atlantic Coast's salesman visited our condo on three (3) different occasions with the express purpose of refining our move order & reducing our costs per our request. An estimated amount of $3,600 or so was agreed upon and the order to load was placed. Movers showed at the agreed time of 7:00AM and took 4 hours to complete loading. Driver then asked that we complete the paperwork but I refused as the prior estimate had been increased to over $6,000. Local owner, Russ Chandler was very gracious and informed me not to sign anything with that figure as he believed some numbers had been transposed on the bill of lading. The driver & I executed the remaining paperwork & we were off to SC. A subsequent email informed me that our load was 1,500 lbs. over the estimate and that our revised cost would be $5,100. When I informed Mr. Chandler of the difference in estimate & final price and the fact that his salesman had been to our small condo (3) times he agreed to halve the additional cost & sent us a check for that amount. We are not pleased with the salesman's performance but very happy with Mr. Chandler's response to our dilemma. Our belongings were loaded Wednesday May 31, 2017 & delivered to Myrtle Beach, SC Sunday June 4, 2017 at 8:30AM. No notification of same was delivered by the truck driver prior to delivery but we accepted the shipment. We would utilize the services of Atlantic Coast again but would ask that a more experienced salesman estimate our cost to move.

Ed the estimator was spot on with his estimate. The driver/team leader worked very hard. The unloading crew were hard workers as well.

Although I packed most of our boxes myself, the crew handled them with care . I was amazed how quickly they stacked and fitted everything into the truck. The unloading went just as smooth. Furniture and boxes were put into the correct rooms. Some pieces had to go into the attic and some into the basement. Some into the garage and some on to the patio. The crew was at all times courteous and friendly. Thank you Atlantic Coast Moving and Storage. You did a superb job. And a special thank you to Mr. Ed Earnest. He always took the time to listen to my questions. He took away the fear that comes with moving.

If I were to rate them for my experience only I would have given them all As.  They were punctual, courteous and efficient.  I had a great experience.  However be sure to mention you found out about them on Angie's list.  I recommended them to my in laws who did not do this and they had a totally different experience.  After the move they mentioned to me that they were not extremely  happy with the service they received and the movers were extremely slow.

I joined Angie's list specifically to find a reputable mover for this job. Atlantic Coast Movers had a great rating so I called. Ed was my contact, he was prompt, professional and "sealed the deal" signing the contract on the spot. He returned later the same day with boxes for files. Saturday, the guys called to let us know they we're on the way, and arrived on the early side of our time window. The team they send was courteous, knowledgable, professional and made the move easy and painless. It was a pleasure to work with Atlantic Coast Movers...I no only recommend them but would use them again. And as for Angie's List...I'm hooked! Already looking for my next project! It was a small job - I was having a few pieces of furniture picked up from a warehouse and delivered to my home.  Team was competent and professional.

We were able to borrow a truck for free to move all of our belongings into a very clean and secure storage facility; went off with no hitches!

V hot day. All men. 4. Did a fine job. 1 packer. 3 movers. sales person rep. Was extremely helpful and checked up after the move and even helped recycle boxes
