They also asked personal questions on the phone during the appointment confirmation regarding who lived in my home and if I was married. I stated I was the sole home owner and made all the decisions and that it was irrelevant who lived in my house.
They made an assumption that I should be married and could not be present for a window estimate without my spouse.
I felt like they discriminated against me for not accepting the fact that I was the sole owner of my home and the decision maker AND A SINGLE PERSON. MY MARITAL STATUS IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS.
When I called the next day to find out why they did not show up it was because I did not have a spouse present.
WHEN A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER IS ASKING FOR AN ESTIMATE, YOU SHOULD TAKE IT ON THEIR WORD THAT THEY ARE THE HOME OWNER AND DECISION MAKER. THIS COMPANY BELITTLED ME FOR BEING SINGLE AND PENALIZED ME FOR IT. THEY MADE ME WAIT FOR THEM AND WASTED BY TIME AND DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY WERE NOT KEEPING THE APPOINTMENT.
I HAVE A HOME THAT NEEDED SIDING AND 11 WINDOWS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THEY JUST LOST A NICE JOB DUE TO THEIR DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICES.
