Edison Heating & Cooling Inc's quote was high. They are expensive. They were on time and were professional.

An excellent and very professional company. All work done neatly and all in one day. The boiler also will get me rebates and they did the paperwork for me. Everything spelled out in writing exactly what i was getting and the exact cost.  A very good experience and i would recommend them to anyone for any kind of heating and cooling issues.

Details: Woke in the morning to discover furnance was not functioning properly and diagnostic light was blinking red. Called Edison about 8am. Gave description of issue to customer service. Within 15-20 minutes, recieved call from On-Call service tech. Explained issue and diagnostics. Tech gave troubleshooting checklist to follow and informed me that he would call back to check progress and give an ETA if still needed. Tech called back in 15 mins with ETA, as my troubleshooting was ineffective. Tech arrived around 10am. It took no more than 5 minutes for root cause to be determined. Repairs were completed very quickly and furnance was back up and running normally. Problem has been fixed and furnance continues to run normally. Excellent. I highly recommend Edison Heating and Cooling and will continue to use them for all HVAC needs.

I got about five different estimates. This company was not the cheapest, but they were very easy to work with. They came in and did the job. They missed one dot of a mistake, and came back in two days and did the neccessary repairs. The service men were great. I had no complaints about the job that they did.

A friend recommended them. They were very professional, neat and tidy. They didn't leave a mess. The two gentlemen were very polite and respectful. They worked quickly.

Our A/C system stopped blowing cold air out of the vents and the tubes going from the system outside to inside the house had frozen up.  We were in a hurry to get this fixed because my mom was coming back from the hospital soon and couldn't take the heat. I called late at night and left a message, I got a call back very quickly and they were able to set up an appointment the next day.  The technician came over on time, but he spent two hours heming and hawing and couldn't find what was wrong with the system. He said we needed a entirely new central air conditioner system, which we didn't think was unreasonable since our A/C system is pretty old.  He couldn't give us an estimate on the system though... we had to set up another appointment with a salesman to just get a price!  Just in case we called someone else who a family member had used (Uncle John's Home Repair and Maintenance, Edison 08820, not on Angie's List though.  I'll give him a free plug here anyway though - John Moy: 732-261-5209).  This guy came over and took one look at our system in the attic and saw the problem.  Our intake was blocked and the coil inside the blower had froze over.  He said you can't even diagnose the problem if you can't get to the coil.  He unblocked the intake and told us to turn off the system for two days, if there was a problem then to give him a call. After two days we turned the system back on and it worked!  Edison Heating and Cooling wanted to charge us for an entirely new system!  It turned out to cost us 50 bucks for a service call instead.

They are professional, and prompt. They respond in a timely manner. They get here quickly. If the person that is here needs help they will send some else to help. I have been very satisfied with them.

responded quickly. evaluated entire heating system and couldnt identify anything was wrong. they suggest to check the thermastat. After they replaced the thermastate the heating did not change. We called them back promptly and he found there was a switch in the heating unit which was corroded. All he had to do is brushed it off and I thought it should have been picked up in the inital visit. I paid for both and the second visit. I did not think it was a very service oriented.

Called this company for an estimate for air conditioning. I was transferred to an answering machine. Left name, #, and brief message. Never got a call back.

Edison Heating & Cooling Inc. does a neat and clean service. They are very careful not to get dirt on or damage any of our property. I've never had a problem with them coming on time. They are also very responsive.

THEIR WORK WAS VERY GOOD AND THEIR PRICES VERY FAIR. ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAVE NEVER LEFT ANY MESS AFTER A JOB AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

THIS COMPANY WAS A LITTLE SHAKY IN THE BEGINNING, BUT THEY CAME THROUGH IN THE END. THE WORK WASN'T DONE CORRECTLY AT FIRST, BUT THEY CAME BACK AND REPLACED WHAT THEY PUT IN WITH SOMETHING THAT WOULD WORK.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY GAVE ME GOOD ADVICE ON WHAT I NEEDED. THEY REPLACED MY OLD UNIT AND DISPOSED OF IT. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, NICE AND WILL CALL ME IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENT. THEY WILL ALSO CALL ME ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARRIVE SO THAT I KNOW THEY WILL BE THERE SOON. THEY ARE WONDERFUL.
