Very dissatisfied with the luxury vinyl plank flooring in our bedroom and the response to the problem. Within a year of installation, a few of the planks are buckling and Dan has not offered any solution to the issue. He came out to look at the problem, pounded the floor with a mallet, and suggested putting weights on the area (as expected, this did not work.). He is given plenty of excuses (room temperature, humidity, furniture, house settling, floor boards underneath) but has not taken any responsibility or attempted to resolve the problem. Sad treatment for a long-time customer!

Dan is professional, knowledgeable and an all-around great guy. He listens, offers solid advice without any pushy salesman antics and is always available for questions. We completed a carpeting project with him a couple of weeks ago and we were so happy with the results that we decided to dive right into two other projects. We are in the middle of refinishing the hardwood floor in our family room this week and we have our basement floors scheduled for next week. Bottom line...Dan and his crew do excellent work!

Dan was great to work with. He keep me updated on when the project would be done and called to confirm things were going well. Always available for questions. Had my floors refinished and carpet done so it was nice using one person to complete two jobs.

Dan is very professional in his approach of explaining the procedure and when meeting him you feel like you knew him for years. overall a great experience . Dan and his workers finished three different rooms in 1 day and when done the job looked incredible. I still have more work that has to be done in other rooms so I will be contacting him in near future. very pleased with the outcome.

found the carpetman, llc, through this site as my wife and i were looking for someone to install new carpet on our upstairs hallway and stairs as well as install wood floors in our foyer, living room, and dining room. called and asked for a quote and he came over and was pretty much one of the best people i have ever dealt with. very accommodating and went out of his way to answer all of my questions and texts i sent him later on. we were so pleased with the carpeting and hardwood installation by dan and his crew that we hired them to install carpet in our family room which they completed the other day. we now have an appointment for this coming monday to install hardwood floors in two of our upstairs rooms. i highly recommend them and will be sure to recommend them to friends and family.

As an update to the previous post, they pulled through and finally we have a nice finished product. Would suggest that the homeowner request the materials be confirmed for color, binding and accuracy before scheduling installation.

The verdict is still out on the final review but so far the experience has been rocky - beginning was excellent service with Dan but once the sub-contractor Tom entered the picture, Dan exited. Now I am being told to communicate with someone I did not hire. Again, the job is still yet to be complete -- they may come through, and hopefully the finished product will not end up looking uneven.

"this was just a simple miscommunication due to getting a stair runner installed with binding.... I was on vacation and I left the binding to be installed by one of my workers ( Tom)--- he is not a great communicator but a great installer. The logistics got fouled by me being away... minor problem--- it all got completed nicely"

My experience with Dan and his crew was very positive. He understood exactly the kind of carpet I was looking for and brought the perfect set of samples. Removal of the old carpet and installation of the new one was done in a swift and neat manner. The price seemed reasonable, and communication was good throughout.

I was generally satisfied. The installation is near perfect. Could have been a little neater and the estimator didn't see the difficulty in getting the refrigerator moved (installation was a kitchen floor).

"I neglected to measure the fridge to see if it was easy to get out of kitchen... my error, however my crew came through in a big way with their time and effort to make things right. Dan is very personable and honest. I am very glad I chose his company. Besides having a final price that cannot be beat :-), he and his staff were professional at all times, no cursing at all and they were speedy fast! The final result is beautiful.... Installation, carpet quality and most of all it looks perfect! Lastly, they left my home clean. Ya! I am very happy.

I can't recommend The Carpetman highly enough! We had to have our entire first floor redone due to water damage. Five different contractors provided an estimate. Not only was the Carpetman's price amoung the most competitive, but the material was the nicest and the customer service was by extremely far the best. Dan is very friendly, available and helpful. He brought several samples and provided guidance based on quality/durability, our lifestyle and what would look good in our house. The work was done in less time than expected, and the final result is amazing. The combination of nice products, unequaled customer service, great final result achieved in a timely manner, and reasonable cost sounds too good to be true, but it describes very well my experience with The Carpetman.
