Russo Bros. & Co. was established in 1954 by the "Professor of Plumbing" Michael Russo to service the plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs of residential and commercial clients throughout Northern New Jersey. Our New Jersey plumbers are licensed and equipped to handle any task from new plumbing, heating and air conditioning installations to all levels of service and repair work. Russo Bros. & Co. is also licensed to install, repair and test backflow prevention devices as required by the state of New Jersey.

"WE PROVIDED SERVICE TO THIS CLIENT IN AUGUST OF 2005. OUR TECHNICIAN OPENED A WALL, REMOVED AN EXISTING TWO HANDLE SHOWER VALVE, RE-PLUMBED THE APPLICATION TO ACCOMMODATE A NEW SINGLE LEVER SHOWER VALVE, SUPPLIED AND INSTALLED THE NEW SINGLE LEVER SHOWER VALVE ALONG WITH A REMODEL ACCESS PLATE, AND SUPPLIED AND INSTALLED A NEW SHOWER HEAD. OUR TECHNICIAN SPENT OVER 6 HOURS IN TOTAL ON TWO DIFFERENT VISITS TO DIAGNOSE THE CLIENTS PROBLEM AND MAKE THE PROPER REPAIR. ALL WORK WAS SPECIFICALLY EXPLAINED UP FRONT AND PRICES GIVEN BEFORE ANY WORK WAS PERFORMED. ON DECEMBER 28, 2008 WE RECEIVED WORD FROM ANGIE’S LIST THE CLIENT WAS UPSET WITH OUR PRICING. WE LEFT THE CLIENT SEVERAL MESSAGES DURING JANUARY AND FEBRUARY OF 2009 TO TRY AND GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHY THE CLIENT WAS UPSET. NO CALLS WERE RETURNED."
"ANGIE'S LIST REPORT WAS THE FIRST TIME WE RECEIVED ANY TYPE OF FEEDBACK FROM THIS CLIENT. WE REVIEWED OUR RECORDS AND DETERMINED THE SAME TECH SERVICED THE CLIENTS HEATING SYSTEM IN 2007 AND 2008. WHEN WE CONTACTED THE CLIENT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT INTO THEIR RESPONSE WE FOUND THAT THE CLIENT WAS UPSET WITH US AND CHOSE TO CONTACT A DIFFERENT COMPANY WHEN SHE HAD A PROBLEM SEVERAL WEEKS LATER. OUR COMPANY MISSION IS TO PROVIDE 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION; HOWEVER ACCORDING TO THIS CLIENT WE DID NOT MEET OUR GOAL. IN THE FUTURE WE WOULD HOPE THAT AN UNSATISFIED CLIENT WOULD CALL OUR OFFICE SO WE CAN ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS. OUR PHONES ARE ANSWERED BY OUR STAFF (NO VOICE MAIL) SO WE ENCOURAGE OUR CLIENTS TO CALL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS."
"WE WERE CONTACTED ON TUESDAY, APRIL 1ST BY THE MEMBER REQUESTING SERVICE AT HIS HOME BECAUSE HE HAD CLOGGED TOILETS. WHEN THE MEMBER CALLED OUR OFFICE WE EXPLAINED OUR STANDARD PRACTICE IS A $45 SITE VISIT FEE TO DISPATCH A TECHNICIAN IN A FULLY STOCK TRUCK TO HIS RESIDENCE. WE EXPLAINED THAT ONCE THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON SITE, HE WOULD DETERMINE THE SCOPE OF WORK AND PROVIDE HIM WITH AN UP FRONT PRICE BEFORE HE STARTS ANY JOB. THE MEMBER ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND BOOKED THE SERVICE CALL. WE HAD OUR TECHNICIAN TO THE MEMBER'S HOME WITHIN ONE HOUR OF THE SERVICE CALL REQUEST AND OUR TECHNICIAN ADVISED HIM OF ALL THE CHARGES BEFORE HE STARTED THE JOB. THE MEMBER AUTHORIZED THE WORK AND OUR TECHNICIAN COMPLETED THE JOB SO HIS TOILETS WOULD BE CLOG FREE AND OPERATIONAL. WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY FEEDBACK FROM THE CLIENT UNTIL WE RECEIVED THIS NOTIFICATION FROM ANGIE’S LIST WHICH IS 5 MONTHS AFTER WE PERFORMED THE JOB."

IN ORDER FOR US TO CARRY OUT OUR MISSION, WE NEED TO CHARGE PRICES THAT WILL ALLOW US TO PROVIDE PREMIUM SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND THE AVERAGE PLUMBER. WHEN A CLIENT ACCEPTS OUR RECOMMENDATIONS AND PRICING, WE EXPECT TO BE PAID IN FULL AT THE END OF EACH JOB UPON THE CLIENT'S SATISFACTION WITH OUR WORK PRODUCT. IN THE CASE OF THIS MEMBER, WE DID ALL OF THE ABOVE."
"AT RUSSO BROS., WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. IT IS OBVIOUS FROM THE MEMBER’S REPORT THAT SHE WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE PRICE OF THE JOB WE PERFORMED. WE SPOKE WITH THE MEMBER DIRECTLY AND LISTENED TO HER POINT OF VIEW. AS A COURTESY, WE HAVE MADE A PARTIAL REFUND. WITH REGARDS TO THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL, WE DO CARRY TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF DISPOSALS ON OUR TRUCK. HOWEVER, THEY ARE THE SAME SIZE. OUR CLIENT WAS REALLY INTERESTED IN A SMALLER SIZE DISPOSAL, SINCE SHE HAD PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH A SMALLER ONE IN THE MIDWEST. OUR TECHNICIAN DID NOT PROVIDE THE MEMBER WITH A SMALLER UNIT OPTION BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT HAD MUCH SUCCESS WITH THIS PRODUCT IN OUR MARKET PLACE. IN OUR MARKET PLACE DUE TO THE HARDNESS OF THE WATER AND USAGE, WE INSTALLED THE PRODUCT THAT 9 OUT OF 10 PROFESSIONAL PLUMBERS RECOMMEND. ONE OF OUR GOALS IS TO PROVIDE PROMPT SERVICE WITH PROFESSIONAL GRADE PRODUCTS THAT ARE HASSLE FREE AND WILL ENHANCE THE VALUE OF OUR CLIENTS' HOME. WE FEEL STRONGLY THAT THE DISPOSAL WE INSTALLED MEETS THIS GOAL."
