"Your compliments mean a lot to us. Thank you."
"We apologize for your experience with our company being less than satisfactory. Our technician should have been able to provide you with the information you needed without going back and forth on the phone with a manager. We pride ourselves on continually educating our technicians and it seems as if we failed here. The technician should have diagnosed the problem and given you several options. We realize that an apology is a bit belated, but it seems like we missed the mark a bit and it’s never to late to acknowledge an error."
The estimator from Russo Brothers (Eddie) was at my house within 2 hours of my call to their office. The estimator and the office personnel were very courteous. The price was reasonable and the work started the following week.
Russo Brothers came fully equipped with all the needed tools and were able to bore a small tunnel from my basement to the street. They excavated a small area near the street and were able to pull the new main back into my basement. The excavation was backfilled and seeded. The hole in the basement wall was patched. They even mopped my basement floor.
At the end of the day, the new water main was in service, my water pressure was great, and other than a small patch of new grass near the street, you would never know any work had been done. A real quality job.
"Quality is what we strive to achieve on every job. Your feedback assures us that we are consistently on track."
"We value your comments and understand your pricing concerns. On the surface we might appear to cost a little more than your average plumber. However, we are anything but average! We provide all our customers with extensively trained technicians who are available 24/7 with high quality equipment that is more durable and energy efficient. In the end this actual saves you money and provides you with peace of mind."
and explained everything he was doing unlike others I've hired. Mr.
Russo came over initially just to fix a severely leaking faucet in the
upstairs hall bathroom sink. I was afraid I'd have to replace the sink
or at least the faucet but in 20 minutes, he had corrected the problem
(airratore was leaking back into the faucet) and had everything cleaned
up.
I have been having a lot of problems with 2 of the toilets in
my house (very expensive toilets) not sealing at the flapper correctly,
resulting in whomever used the toilet having to remove the top cover
and manually reposition the flapper to make it seal properly. I have
tried to fix it myself and have had two other plumbers come to look at
it; one saying I needed new flush valves and the other telling me to
replace the toilet. I asked Mr. Russo to look at them as long as he was
here and he had both toilets working correctly in just a few minutes
with a small adjustment. This saved my $300-$700 in new toilet parts or
new toilets and labor to install them.
I liked Mr Russo so much,
I asked him to provide me with an estimate to remodel the whole hall
bath (we were planning to do this). Hard to find an honest craftsman
that knows what he's doing so if you need plumbing services, I stongly
suggest you give Russo Brothers as call.
"When it comes to your home, you should be picky! We respect that and appreciate your trust in us."
BUT RUSSO IS EXPENSIVE. I dont fell that bad since these are prices from their printed pricing sheets; the guy didnt look at me and how ignorant I was and decide to rail me. I was charged like everyone else.
$500 for a toilet install? Yes I should have known better. Now Ill never use them again.
I give them a B because it's my fault for not kicking them out when they gave me that price.
"Thank you for allowing Russo Bros. & Co. the opportunity to service your home’s plumbing needs. I am sorry you felt this way about the cost and wanted to explain to you our methodology of how our services are priced. We provide flat rate pricing on all jobs, this method of pricing has been well received since each technician works at a different pace and there are no extra charges at the end of the job. It also allows our technician to quote your exact cost before commencing the work. We subscribe to a national pricing system that has done extensive research on the plumbing and heating service industry to be able to create these price lists. While onsite the technician also spent time going through the heating system and making recommendations to prevent future breakdowns of the boiler, as well as, providing guidance on installing a pressure regulating valve to preserve the pipes and regulate the water pressure to the home. Again we want to thank you for having chosen us to do the work in your home and we hope that our explanation better helps you understand our pricing structure."
"We are sorry you feel that way about our customer service and hope this was an isolated incident. Our customer representatives are trained to be call takers and dispatchers; they are not trained to learn technical aspects of the business. The last visit to the home we surveyed the client immediately follow the service call and they had said the service went well and they were always happy with our company. We apologize for anything that may have caused bad feelings towards us and encourage the client to reach out to us to reconcile any issues."
I'm only upset that I couldn't do it myself! It was great, I'd call them again in a heartbeat!
"We apologize you feel the way you do regarding the sprinkler estimate. We can assure you the estimator is very objective. This estimate was given in July 2011 and no work was performed for this client. The property is approximately ¾ an acre and required more sprinkler heads and rotaries than a standard residential property due to the size and set up of the lawn (it is a corner lot). The estimator arrived at the home on the requested day and within the requested timeframe by the client. He was onsite for nearly an hour to do a thorough evaluation in order to calculate the adequate combination of rotary heads and mist heads needed for proper coverage. A senior discount of several hundred dollars was offered to the client to help alleviate some of the cost, along with a two year warranty on the installation. Upon following up with this client a few days later, no mention was made of how strongly they felt. We pride ourselves on giving fair, accurate pricing and belong to several plumbing and irrigation societies that provide us with the necessary tools to create an accurate quote which has enabled us to be in the lawn sprinkler business since it’s origination in New Jersey in the 1960s. Our systems are high-end compared with our competition because we use superior products that hold well in the harsh weather conditions we experience in the Northeast. Thus we have been performing sprinkler installations for over 50 years and many of our systems are still in excellent operating condition."
"Our goal at Russo Bros. & Co. is to provide 100% customer satisfaction, and we truly apologize for the way you feel. When looking back at work done for this client, the most recent call was in 2005 and there was no record of any complaint during that time or any previous visits. In reference to the client’s mother-in-law we are not aware of her name or address therefore cannot retrieve any information from the service call placed in February 2011. We would like to reconcile this situation and hope the client will reach out to us."
"We pride ourselves on 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would like to resolve this issue. If you could please contact our office anyone will be able to assist you. We have no record of a concern of this nature on file from October 2007. As with all sprinkler systems, they are subject to much wear and tear over the years (snow storms, landscaping disasters, lawn renovations, etc.) and therefore do require upkeep. We understand you believe our prices are high and wish this had been known at the time of service so we could have left your home on a good note."
They were shown what was needed to be replaced and they went to work.
They completed the entire job in 4 hours and did a very proffesional job and left everything very neat and clean.
There pricing was very reasonable for the work that they did.
