Description of Work: Did not use. Had a leak in central AC. They told me leak could not be found or repaired (they never even looked for leak location) and I needed whole new a/c and furnace system. Quoted price of $9000.00 Another company found the leak in 10 minutes, repaired it and added refrigerant. Total cost $800. I would not trust this company!

Description of Work: Cleaned drain with vinegar , walked around a bit and said everything looked good then charged an extra 75 dollars because I had 2 units. Waste if my time and money . Don't use this company they are a rip off and shouldn't have an a rating

Description of Work: Contacted Ron Jon to have our central AC units checked out and determine if they needed replacing and if so how much it would potentially cost. He arrived on time which I appreciated. However, he didn't even bother to look at the current system. Asked if it was cooling sufficiently and that I should just leave it as is and save money. He seemed to be in a hurry and not interested in our business even though he could have been looking at a potential large job. I month later I was speaking with the previous owner of our home and she informed me that this was the vendor they had used to install the original AC system. It is a small family owned business so I would expect that the guy would have remembered his own work.

The quote was for about $6000. It was for furnace and air conditioning system. The price was okay, but I didn’t like how they arrive at the pricing. They did only what they said they were going to do. The only thing I didn’t like about them was they didn’t do any calculation to determine how much is needed.
Description of Work: I got a quote from Ron Jon Heating & Cooling for heating & A/C. I last got a quote from them in March 2011.

The compressor is working fine. They thought the system was running fine when they last came out. They just put some more coolant in it and that was it. My interaction with them was good. The compressor was $950. They were prompt. They got right back to me and everybody was very polite. The work they have done so far has been fine too.
Description of Work: Ron Jon Heating & Cooling installed a compressor on the air conditioning unit about a month ago. I also had them come over a week ago just to check the system to see if there was anything they had to do to make it run more efficiently.

From start to finish the job went very well. Todd is extremely professional and provided us with a competitive price quote. His team of installers were all knowledgeable and friendly. The work started and finished on schedule. We turned the A/C on for the first time yesterday and it was so quiet - we weren't even sure we had it turned on. Cooled the house quickly!

It went great. This company charges far less than the companies that advertise heavily in our area. We were on a tight timetable, trying to renovate the house in a three-month window, and they worked with us to accommodate all of the other work we were coordinating. We were impressed with how they ducted the work invisibly. We didn't even lose any closet space. The system has been cooling our house for three summers now, and it's been great. The only drawback we found was that this company would not fill out the paperwork required for PSE&G's energy efficiency rebate. They leave it to the homeonwner, and it proved to be too technical a process for us to complete. Even without the rebate, though, we still saved money over the estimates we received from the other companies.
