In my earlier review (F) I stated that Paul came and looked at our house to provide an estimate, but we never received one. After I put my review on Angieβs list, Paul contacted me and said he sent an estimate but never heard from me. I told him I never received anything and searched all the computers, both the inbox and trash. I did receive an estimate after our conversation. I requested a subsequent change to the job and Paul did reply promptly with a revised estimate. We ended up deciding to go with another contractor, although that decision was not based on the problem getting the initial estimate. However, Paul stated in his response, βCustomer now acknowledges they did in fact receive both the quote and the pictures the requested.β To be clear, I didnβt receive the initial quote and pictures until after I posted my review on Angieβs List.

"[Member Name Removed] I am actually looking at your review as something very positive for my company. Your review actually states that you had one small issue and we addressed it immediately. That shows Angies List members that if there is ever an issue, we take care of it immediately. Im a bit confused about you deciding to write a mediocre review over a year after we installed your windows. Also, you actually referred me to your daughter in law in the [Removed Personal Info] area who in fact called me about 3 months ago regarding windows. I would imagine you had some degree of confidence with my company. My installers showed you every window we installed and you inspected each one with total satisfaction. Your later issue was regarding a small gap at the bottom of a screen. As soon as you called me, i personally came the very next day and made a small adjustment which you were satisfied with. I then informed you that there is always some degree of variability regarding small screen gaps for water drainage. your gap was barely 1/16th of an inch. The following day you called again asking for another adjustment. At that point i said i will call Okna Windows and have them set up a service call immediately since i already adjusted the screen and didnt want to cause any damage. Your windows are under warranty and both Okna and myself honored that. Okna not only resolved your issue quickly, they even brought you a new screen. You again said you were happy but then called Okna ( not us) a few months later about another small gap. Again, Okna addressed it quickly and specifically told you it was NOT an installation related issue and the very small gap was well within the norm. As far as my installers being late, we notified you about heavy morning traffic but arrived well within the specific time and even finished that day by 4:30. When i came by to adjust your screen, you specifically mentioned how impressed you were with my installers.. You never said they just did " an ok job". We have a great reputation for a reason, we take care of each and every customer. Im confident all your issues were resolved."
