A very good experience overall with Raymour & Flanigan in Deptford. We originally furnished most of our home with R&F furniture when we moved to South Jersey 4 years ago - spending more than $10,000 at the time, which included a full bedroom set, with mattress and box spring included. We've been overall pleased with the furniture we purchased from there, but over the last 4 years our mattress became increasingly uncomfortable. Knowing we were well past the 30 day trial period for the mattress, I was hesitate to call and complain figuring it wouldn't get me anywhere, but I'm glad I did. I spoke with someone who was prompt to schedule a technician to come out and assess the mattress and see if anything could be done to help. The technician came out as scheduled and actually confirmed that the mattress had a defect. and that we would get a full credit for the mattress to be able to pick out a new one! Later that day, a sales consultant, Randa called to confirm that we had indeed received a full credit for the purchase price of the mattress, the box spring, and the sales tax included and that we could come and pick out our new mattress immediately! We were thrilled. Further, Randa even called back to let us know about an exclusive sale going on and if we could get in that weekend, we could save significantly and possibly still have some store credit left over to pick out something else besides! We went in that night, picked out a new mattress, box spring, and even had money left over for a new leather couch because of the discount! The new mattress, box spring and couch were delivered 3 days later and while the delivery guys weren't as prompt as I expected, (or very personable) they did deliver the furniture in perfect condition and removed the old mattress and box spring also. Unfortunately though, after sleeping on the mattress, it wasn't a good fit for us and we knew it right away. (It felt fine in the showroom - but as anyone else knows, this is a tough thing to gauge in the showroom compared to 8 hours sleeping on it.) Again, I was hesitant to call, but I decided to call and talk to Randa about it anyway. Since R&F offers a 30 day Comfort Guarantee for you to try out a new mattress, Randa spoke to her manager and quickly confirmed that not only would they allow us to come in and pick out ANOTHER new mattress, but that they would waive the normal delivery and administrative fee (for using the comfort guarantee) because we had initially had a bad experience. We went in yet again, picked out another new mattress and box spring and Randa was with us the entire time throughout the checkout process to ensure that we were getting our full discount due on the new mattress and that it would all be delivered in two days to us without the fees as promised. In fact, she even caught a mistake in the discount amount as they were checking us out and she corrected it for us. She was an absolute pleasure to work with - professional, personable (especially wonderful even with our 2 year old son), patient, and knowledgeable without using pressure tactics. The new mattress is finally what we wanted - and we are sleeping better than ever! We are extremely pleased with this experience with R&F. We've told all of our friends and family about it and I know we will never consider buying a mattress anywhere else.The delivery process has left a little to be desired, but overall was acceptable. I would absolutely recommend dealing with Randa though - she was awesome and we called her today to let her know... she was probably terrified to hear me calling but didn't show it. :) And she was thrilled that we were satisfied.
