"As usual, any and every bad review of our company comes from someone who has not done business with our company. Our guys drive hundreds of miles per day, with the understanding that they may very well lose money for that day. We don't pressure any one customer, but we are there to obtain the job. In our business we run into new companies everyday that go in to make drinking money for the weekend. We price the job on a professional installation and the best warranty your money can buy. On a daily basis homeowners take advantage of our free estimate. It is free for the home owner but it is not free for the company and the guys who run the appointments. If we find that our guys are crossing the line while giving a free estimate, we will handle that in house, but if they are just trying to get the job, that we can not change. Averages show that if you do not get the job while your there, your chance is 1 out of 6 in getting the job. Our guys are also told to offer further discounts above and beyond the published discounts if we have openings in the schedule. In closing, when you line us up with other reputable companies, our prices are very rarely the highest, but we can not compete with guys that give the job away for the bare minimal. These guys never last and for a homeowner to go with such companies is a big mistake! If you look at our reviews from people that have actually worked for us, they are nothing but happy."

"This homeowner was put through to the wrong department and was called back by a service manager, rather than an inspector. I myself contacted this homeowner and explained that this was a total mistake. Our usual receptionist is on vacation for the week and Mike should have never been in contact with her. Mike handles service calls for existing customers off ours. He is not paid on a commission basis. He was reprimanded and I Thomas Rooney met with the member, early next week and helping her out. I expect that the member's opinion of our company will change. Thank you."

"We at Affordable Waterproofing LLC are not sure why this customer would give such a review since the only business that we have conducted with said customer is that we provided a FREE estimate, and as this customer states, we were on time, and they were going to go with our company. We are confused! If we were on time and this customer was originally going to go with our company, what could we have done wrong? This review has no detail, so please don't hold this against our company. We are going to appeal this review and should be able to get it removed from our record. Usually when a review comes in like this, it's due to a fly-by-night company with a salesman that has worked for virtually every company on the planet, going in and bad mouthing our company to make a sale."

"Our prices are based on the 25 year guarantee that we give to our customers. We are one of the few companies that have never been in business under another name. Our guarantee is the best in the business and we do not charge for service calls. There are many companies out there that will do the work cheaper than we would, but these guys are usually working out of there houses, and in and out of business under multiple names every couple of years. If you put our prices up against the few companies that have been around for a long time without changing their name (which voids all existing customer guarantees) our prices are on the lower side. As far as the concrete being smooth, the only way to get it any smoother is to saw cut the floor, which can not be done because of carbon monoxide from a saw that would be powerful enough to cut through the floor. Saw cutting the floor stops us from being able to feather the concrete back in place to create a tighter seal. The only other possibility would be to remove the entire floor, which we feel is an unnecessary cost that we do not want to pass onto our customers."

"A scam???? We are an established company serving thousands of customers on a daily basis! I take great offense to someone calling my company a scam! Our corporate office is on Route 130 in Delran, New Jersey. I encourage anyone and everyone to come and take a look at our operation, and you will be able to see, that a scam does not create such a business, but rather hard work and commitment does! THIS IS A PERSON WHO DID NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OUR COMPANY! I could see them calling us a scam if we took a deposit and did not return, but to call our company a scam because our price was too high for them is ridiculous! You get what you pay for in this world today, which I'm sure this person will learn the hard way eventually. Our inspectors are trained to go in on every FREE inspection and assess ALL damage and possible damage. We give prices according to our 25 year guarantee. Our customers do not pay for service. We at Affordable Waterproofing LLC cannot and will not compete with the fly-by-night companies in this business! Our Industry is very fast pace and we see companies that charge $1600.00 to waterproof a basement come and go everyday! Had this customer paid $1600.00 to waterproof the basement and had a problem later, I highly doubt that they would have ever seen or heard from this guy or company again. $1600.00 to waterproof a basement just doesn't exist! THAT is the SCAM! Our company has insurance, and licensing etc, and we do not work out of our houses, so we need to get enough to be able to stand by our guarantees. We generally are not the lowest price you will get, but very rarely are we the most expensive! Thank you for considering our company."

"We at Affordable Waterproofing LLC offer a free estimate to all homeowners that allow us to conduct a full inspection and give a full demo of our product. We set appointments and we confirm the appointment the day before the appointment. Our free estimate is a verbal estimate, not a written estimate. We cover from Delaware to New York, and our guys drive a very long distance, which cost us money to provide this free estimate service, with the understanding that we will only get a third of the work that we are bidding on. Every once in a while, we run into people that get angry that we will not give them a written estimate for them to take to other companies to low ball our price. I'm sure these same people wouldn't go to work for no money, but we do and all we ask for is a fair shot at the job. our guys are told to exit the property if any confrontation comes about. We at Affordable Waterproofing LLC run thousands of appointments a year and its very rare for us to get a complaint. We ask that if you read this persons complaint that you take into consideration that this person did absolutely no business with our company, and all they wanted to do was get a written estimate to use as a shopping list to low ball other companies. Once my representative would not give the written estimate for free, these people became very confrontational, which is why my guy exited the property swiftly. I would say that confirming our appointments and exiting the property when a person becomes confrontational is very professional!"
