Dennis and his crew were polite, couterous to us and our neighbors, professional, and best of all did a GREAT Job. The new roof looks great, and there were no extra charges. He told me how long the job would take and he was spot on. And at the end of the job his crew made sure our property and driveway were spotless!!! No nails to be picked up, no missed old roofing, He and his crew were great.

The quote was by far better than five other companies, quality of materials was first rate and job completion was on point. The smoothest transition of dealing with any contractor. No negatives here!!!!

Dennis Fuchs was fantastic - can’t give enough stars for this kind of good work. I attempted to hire another company first to fix my roof but they never showed up. Dennis was professional, gave a fair price, and was done with the work on time and right on budget. Dennis came out to my house and climbed onto the roof to check out the condition before giving a quote. Right away he noticed several things: a couple of spots where the roof was "spongy" to walk on, some obvious patch attempts that had been made, and he also noticed that the ridge caps on my house were not proper ridge vents which should have been installed with the shingled roof that's on the rest of my house (the roof is 3 years old, and the low slope roof is only over the TV room at the back of the house). The ridge caps were a different material and a completely different color from the shingles, they were done cheaply and just wrong, but against the sky this was not noticeable from the ground. I decided to go with a full replacement of the low slope roof and also install the correct ridge vents. His price was $6,700 for the low slope roof replacement (we opted for the longer lasting torch down roll roofing, too) and his price included the new ridge vents. He showed up on time and stayed the whole day with his team so all work was completed in one day. He texted me pictures while the work was in progress so that I could see exactly which sections of plywood were rotten and needed to be replaced. I was so pleased with his work that I had him back to install oversized gutters and 4-inch downspouts (we’d previously had serious issues with the standard gutters and 3-inch downspouts overflowing from being unable to handle the volume of water coming down the low slope roof). I’m pleased to say we had a hard rain yesterday and for the first time since we bought the house the gutters did not overflow! It was a great experience working with D&R Fuchs and I would absolutely recommend them. In fact, they just replaced my parents’ roof and did an equally fantastic job there.

Dennis was very professional and easy to work with. The team who performed the work was the same people over the entire job. When there were a few issues since our house is older, he took time to talk with me or my spouse about the best solution. We had asked several contractors for bids, and D&R Fuchs not only was the lowest bid, but Dennis took the time to explain what we needed done to get rid of the wood siding first before putting on the vinyl siding. We also had several very nice touches added for minimal cost based on his advice.

Could not have gone better. Did the work as promised, when promised. Price was very fair and work was done in an excellent fashion.

The company owner, Dennis Fuchs, was great to work with.  We had extensive repair work that had to be completed by another contractor prior to installing the new roof and Dennis made sure to communicate with the contractor to understand the extent of the work involved as well as the timeline so that his crew could start work as soon as they were able.  In fact, he stopped by several times to check the progress and to check in with me.
On the day of the installation, the crew worked efficiently, all of the debris from the old roof was removed (the property was completely free of any debris) and the project was completed in one day. 
I would definitely recommend D & R Fuchs.  Very satisfied with the overall quality of the work performed.  Dennis clearly takes a personal interest in meeting the needs of his customers and is a fair businessman and very easy to work with and reach.

We are extremely happy that we chose Dennis Fuchs for our recent large roofing project. The project consisted of removing multiple layers of shingles as well as all plywood on our older home and detached garage, and replacing with new wood and Timberline shingles. There was also a lot of carpentry work needed on the garage due to rotted wood.
Dennis turned around the project very quickly and efficiently in just a couple days. He and his crew were great and hardworking, doing long hours. Besides the shingles they easily handled the rotted beams on the garage and seamlessly repaired them as needed. Removing all those shingles and wood creates a lot of mess and looks like a tornado hit, but by the time they left two dumpsters were filled and they had totally cleaned everything off the ground. The property looked the same way as it did before they started except now the two buildings had beautiful new roofs!
Most importantly to us Dennis was very professional and easy to work with. He communicated well, returned phone calls promptly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. As an example, we purchased our own new cupola and he and his crew easily customized it to our roof and got it mounted on the garage just as we requested.
This was the first time Dennis Fuchs did a project for us but without hesitation we would recommend him to anyone who needs a roofer and would definitely use him again for any exterior projects we have.

I wish ever work man was like Fuchs as I won't have to worry about getting it done right and in a timely matter!

We had an addition put on our house about 5 years ago and a lot of the work was done rather poorly (not by Dennis or his company!!!!). We developed a leak around our fireplace and Dennis found that the chimney flashing was installed ON TOP of the shingles instead of under the shingles. Lots of tar had been used so the leak was a few years in developing.
Dennis went over the details of what the options were and gave appropriate pricing. He was very even-handed and didn't push us toward either the cheaper or the more expensive repair. It turns out the more expensive was the correct choice and was in fact considerably less expensive than a large national company's quote. Much less, in fact and there were no gimmicks or sales pitches like the national guys insisted upon.
Workers came on time, did the repair (and more---they caulked a leaky skylight without charge), and cleaned up really well. The job looks great and we're very satisfied. Dennis is a calm, knowledgeable guy and is a straight shooter. He speaks to his clients politely and honestly. He's very clear about time frames and costs and sticks to his word.
We'd use him again in a second.

Following hurricane Sandy my roof on both my home and garage were badly damaged. The owner, Dennis Fuchs, was there from start to finish. He answered all my calls and was upfront about the work which was finished ahead of schedule. I would use him again.
