Emerald Lawn Sprinklers

Justin and Jeffrey were extremely polite and knowledgeable. They explained what the issues were clearly so we could understand what was wrong. I would definitely recommend the company to everyone who has a lawn that they care about.

We have been using Emerald since their install about 15 years ago. They are always punctual with their start ups and shut downs, and honest about repairs required. This year we decided to upgrade to a newer digital controller and rain sensor as the old one was no longer behaving reliably. Nick and Andreas did the replacement the same day as our water turn on. They did a quick, clean and professional job. We have been happy with Emerald's service and would definitely recommend them.

We already used them for our lawn sprinklers and now it was time for landscape lighting! I love how the lighting highlights my home but especially my backyard!! Just love sitting in the back now. We highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent Service and I am so happy with our sprinkler system. The wifi clock eases my mind when away from home that I am in complete control when I want to start and stop my sprinklers. Would recommend this company again.

Victor and his team were great. They responded to my request promptly and took care of my system as if it were their own. They are always make sure the system is working effectively and informing me of any new options that may be available such as an App for my time clock etc.

The work performed by Emerald Lawn Sprinklers was second to none. From the scheduling of the visit to the timeliness of the appointment through to the completion, it was A+. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. They are the best in the business.

They're prompt. When I make an appointment, they're out in a day. They are clean and in and out, you can never tell they were here.

Always need some new heads when we start up the system in Spring. Had a recent leak in the system and they couldn't come for 3 days. Called another company and they came the same day. Will not use this company again next year.

It was not until about a month and a half after the turn-on service that we discovered the grass was not being watered. The foundation plants and perimeter shrubs were, but the sprinklers went on before we were up in the morning, so we didn't know half of them weren't turned on. When the spring rain (which had been keeping the grass green) stopped and the first heat waves started, we saw the grass turning brown. My husband went to the (only) timer we have in the basement and saw that the lawn zones were set to zero. He set them too 5 and they are now watering the grass, which is becoming green again. I called Emerald, told them the problem, and asked them to look at the timer. They immediately denied being responsible, blamed the timer, power outages (there were none), etc. and said it would cost $90 to come out because we were past their two-week service guarantee. I asked to speak to the owner and called three times. After I filed a complaint with the BBB, I got a call from the owner, who became argumentative and threatened to sue me for slander if I left a complaint online. She also said she HAD called a left a message, which I never received. After we hung up I listened to old messages and she was correct, but my voice mail service never beeped to tell us there was a message. Nonetheless, I asked for a refund of the amount we gave them for a fall turn-off and she refused, saying it was in the contract that it was non-refundable. We never received any contract when we paid for that. The immediate "we did nothing wrong" and blaming-everything-else response to my initial call, rather than saying something like "Let's see if we can figure out what happened" and the threat to sue me are indications of the absolutely appalling customer service we experienced. I will never use this service again.

The installation was terrible, the heads are always going bad for which they charge me a fortune, and they provide horrible service. I have told all of my neighbors to never use them for their sprinklers. I will be looking for a new sprinkler company.

They were okay, good.

We had an appointment time but the owner was a no show.    I came home just to meet with him and he didn't show up.  I called after waiting half an hour and he rudely advised that he called when he was in the neighborhood and did a walk through of my property without me and left the an estimate in the mailbox.  When I asked why he didn't have the courtesy to cancel our appointment or simply leave me a message, he said he called, hung up (no message) and stopped by at a time convenient to his schedule. At this point he hung up on me and never called back.
