+ -1 moreBruce is the only guy that I would ever trust my plumbing to. He is punctual, reliable, honest, and affordable. I got his number as a recommendation from my realtor after some issues with a big name company and was astouned the first time he came by the house. Bruce has done a lot in our home from snaking clogged drains to fixing broken garbage disposals, to installing a new sink and fixtures when we redid the kitchen, to fixing my water shut offs, and running water to a slop sink in the laundry room. He typically comes the same day or next day when we call and I never feel that he is taking advantage of the fact that my wife and I are young newlyweds with no clue about plumbing. We keep his phone number on the fridge and recommend him to anyone who asks!
Description of Work: Snaked a clogged kitchen sink and bathtub drain.

I had gotten his name from my son-in-law and hooked him up in Angie's list and he was there. There were five comments and he was local. He also did work for my son-in-law and he's in the business for forty years; he said that on the Angie's List page.

+ -1 more.I called to make an appointment and, since it wasn't an emergency, was told to call him the night before I needed the work done. A week later I called and no answer. Called a week after that and was told he was busy but would be out the next morning at 9:30 AM. He never showed. He called that afternoon and asked if we had made an appountment. for that morning. I said yes but when he didn't show up, I called another plumber. I never got to find out if he was a good plumber or not but he sure is a bad scheduler.

+ -1 moreWhen you think of a friendly, experienced, and fair plumber, Bruce Jackson could not fit the description better. He's snaked our sewer line several times, installed gas applicances for us, and moved our fixtures for remodeling jobs. Each time he delivered quick, effective work with friendly service and a price tag less than half of our best quotes from the major named plumbing services. He's only one guy, but that means your job gets his undivided attention and care. I cannot recommend him more.

+ -1 moreMy dining room ceiling was coming down from water damage. My personal trainer recommended Bruce Jackson because he'd been working with him for so many years and said he was great guy. Boy, was my trainer correct!! Bruce came over and inspected the problem only to find out that it wasn't a plumbing issue at all, but had to do with my leaking air conditioning unit. He spent some time talking with me about this and gave me tips on what to do to fix it. He refused payment for coming out because my issue wasn't a plumbing issue after all.Nice and appropriate adjectives: Prompt, excellent service, HONEST, helpful, generous.Great Experience overall. + -1 moreVery well. I was extremely relieved that I didn't have to get a new hot water heater -- at least not yet. Bruce did tell me to and quot;keep an eye on the hot water heater because it is oldand quot;. I do have to get a new kitchen faucet but, for the time being, I'll work with what I have. Hopefully, the faucet is the culprit of low hot water pressure. I thought the price Jackson and amp; Sons charged was very fair and I was so happy that Mr. Jackson was able to come out so quickly.
Description of Work: While showering in the morning, I didn't have any hot water. Although my hot water heater wasn't leaking, I assumed my hot water heater had seen better days. I immediately called Jackson & Sons since they had installed the hot water heater 12 years ago. Bruce returned my call approximately two hours later and was able to come out immediately. Upon checking everything out, he said that my pilot light had gone out. I found that to be incredible because it never went out before and the light is not exposed to any windows, etc. Bruce lit the pilot and, once again, I had hot water. I then told him that, for several weeks, I was only getting a mild stream of hot water from the kitchen faucet.. He took a look at it and did agree that the pressure was weak and cleaned out the filter on the faucet and removed the water saver so that I could get a little better pressure. Although the pressure of the cold water is better, It didn't help as much with the pressure of the hot water. We both agreed that my fixture is old and that it's probabIy the cause of the problem. I already knew that I would have to eventually get a new kitchen faucet.

He is a very nice and happy person. He is very honest. His prices are wonderful. He is an excellent plumber. If he was single I would marry him. He is also licensed.
Description of Work: A week ago he came to check all the toilets in my house. I forgot to tell him about my sink problem so I called him and he came back to fix it at no charge.
