Auletto's Roofing & Siding

We called three providers on Angie's List for estimates for a new roof. I always get three estimates for any project. Bill Auletto, the owner, came out to give me the estimate. He explained the options such as tear off and replacement or laying new shingles over old and replacement of skylights. He gave me his estimate based upon the variables and he left. I called him with a few additional questions before I decided who I would use. He was available to answer my questions and he didn't pressure me or become impatient. I selected him over the other two basically because he seemed to be someone I could work with. The work took the number of days he told me it would take. His work crew was neat and courteous. His supervisor was his cousin, I believe. I believe that it was a good job as my roof doesn't leak and it looks good. We had an issue with a loose gutter in the winter. He came out promptly and repaired it for a nominal fee.

Everything went fine. The roofers showed up on time and finished the job the same day. Everything was cleaned up nicely. I have no complaints at all.

Overall my experience was solid and job was done very quickly and efficiently by Bill's crew.....some minor issues knocked the overall grade down....for example, the dumpster they had delivered sat in my driveway for nearly 3 days....Sat morning-Monday night.
Another minor issue - two small lower sections of the low pitched roof line from first floor additions were not budgeted in the estimate. (This section did not need to be ripped off only another layer over top.) It wasn't until I spoke to his foreman while on the job that I realized he didn't include that section in his original estimate. Bill did state that the flat grade in that section couldn't be included in the warranty and any shingles might curl over time but I felt it should have been included in the estimate.
As a result of this oversight, he didn't order shingles for that small area, fortunately, there was enough leftover to complete the job...Bill quoted me a high price though for that section (while on the job site), using material that I had already paid for, but we agreed on a lower price on the install in the end. Despite this confusion I still recommend Bill's services.

.The job went extremely well entirely exceeding our expectations. The job took in its entirety 1 long day.
The clean-up was truly unbelievable with nearly no evident trace of the incredible amount of debris that was generated.
The roof ended up looking terrific. Two minor problems (with the way the TV wires inserted into shingles)
were corrected shortly after contacting the roofers.

Called Bill Auletto beginning of the week; scheduled job for same week. Gave me an honest assessment of roof's condition (good for its' age, but will need to be replaced in a couple of years). Convinced that his work in August was crucial in preventing damage/leaks when Sandy came in October. Preventative maintenance = great investment.

Our overall experience with this company was excellent... an A+ ! They were professional and very patient while we were having difficulty choosing shingles. They immediately returned calls and answered all of our questions. Their team was well supervised and worked very efficiently. Their financing options were the best!!!!!!!! Great job

Overall the job went well and ultimately I am happy with the finished product. My roofs were at end-of-life and both were in desperate need of replacing. Bill came out to give an estimate a couple days after I called, and was kind enough to plug a visible hole in my flat roof with some silicone while he was up there measuring. He emailed me an estimate a couple days later and when compared with the other estimates I received, Auletto's was the best by far. I hired him for the job, but scheduling proved to be a bit difficult. Bill seems to be very busy (which is good!), but we were plagued by off-and-on rainy weather which I'm sure wreaked havoc with all his scheduled jobs. There were a few instances when I spoke to Bill on the phone and he said he would call the next day with an updated schedule, but I received no call the next day. Eventually he got caught up on his other jobs, the weather cooperated and his crew showed up (somewhat unexpectedly) at 7:30am. Tarps were draped over the sides of the house for protection and my old roofs were torn off within an hour. By 10:30am (3 hours after starting) the job was completely done, all debris was cleaned up from my yard, and his crew was packed up and leaving. I received a call the next morning from Bill letting me know that everything went well, they hadn't found any damaged wood (which would have been additional cost to replace), and to give him a call if I had any questions or problems with the roof. His payment methods are also very accommodating -- he accepts major credit cards in addition to checks, and doesn't ask for any payment until the job is done. I would hire Auletto's again for any roof work, and I will recommend him to friends and family looking for a roofer.

I got them from a referral from somebody and a confirmation from Angie's List. When I looked at it and I looked up Angie's List, I told myself I got two thumbs up. I had the plumber that referred them I have high level faith with. I kind of figured that similar mindsets follow each other. The work was done professionally. I didn't get any additional prices. I had an idea what I thought it was worth. They came in within $100 of what I was expecting it to be. I simply let them have the job as it wasn't that big of a job. I was expecting $2500. He came at $2590, so I thought that was quite right where it needed to be. I was satisfied with when they showed up. They left when they said they were going to leave. I was satisfied with how they were working and the materials that they were using. I was satisfied with the price. I was satisfied with the way it was installed. I am going to go over and make sure there are no leaks or anything else. They also plastered around the chimney. They did some additional work that had nothing to do specifically with the new roof. They packed some other things that needed attention and it is where I would expect a little leak. Some things they said they would get back to me on they didn't get back to me on. I would expect that from a contractor. I looked at the material, the shingles and what have you. They were in and out in about 6 hours. I have no complaints about them dragging their feet or anything.

The job was mostly finished the first day, completed on the second. All the debree was cleanedd up. I had no compalints.

They always called back promptly, were courteous, professional, and accommodating. They started the job on time, did an excellent job on cleanup.

They were professional and gave a good presentation. Their pricing was reasonable as well. The quality of their work was very good and I was satisfied with their service.

Very good. The roof looks great was it was installed in half a day including all delivery and cleanup, dumpster was gone the next morning before I left for work (I have seen several people in my neighborhood with shingles sitting on there driveway for several days before the roof was put on and dumpsters sitting in their driveways for a few days after there roofs were completed). The only delay was the gutters which were installed a day later then initially scheduled, other then that very professional, friendly and answers all questions. He was also the least expensive of the 5 contractors that gave me bids ($800-$2200 less as completed).
