basement had been leaking when it rained for 30 years, Outside drainage issues addressed years ago resolved some of it. Johnny D. looked at the problem for 30 minutes and declared he knew what the problem was. A sump was installed at a crucial point in the basement. Subsequent heavy rains ensued for days. No leaks, nothing. The main sewer line was fixed and now to code(!) Main breaker box was at over capacity for circuits, new one installed (to code). All work done on time and around our holiday activities. Estimates were exact, everything cleaned up, very professional and pleasant.

I think that, bottom line, you could probably have gotten the work done for less, but the level of service would not be there. We have used Pipeworks for other major plumbing work and they are the best.

PipeWorks' Chris Callan came out and was extremely professional -- quickly diagnosing a leak in a pipe leading to a toilet, explaining the scope of the issue, presenting all options and prices to me, and fixing swiftly and effectively with a replacement piece. Extras: * Chris put paper covers on his shoes before entering the house -- a respectful touch * He did a quick review of all the plumbing in my home * He patiently answered all of my questions, both about the leak and in general * He offered several protection plans, but without a hard sell * He was polite and professional to me and to me cats at all times.

Prompt, professional, fair, and honest. They came out right away for an estimate, and responded quickly when we had questions. They were professional and courteous on the phone, and the installation went extremely well. The entire install team was excellent; Washington (installer) and Ryan (electrician) were A++. Highly recommend and will use them again when we need work done.

Had a crack form in a pipe and called Pipe Works due to the number of high ratings on Angies List. The individuals on the phone were pleasant and professional and the gentlemen who showed up was nice and did a good job, but he didn't arrive until around 4:20 when I was told 11-2 as the arrival window. I received three calls letting me know that there would be a delay, each one pushing the time back from the last. The price was also somewhat higher than I would expect based on what had to be done. I don't mind paying a premium for a good product/service, but missing a 3 hour window by almost 2.5 hours when the customer is forced to plan their entire day around that window is not good service.

Very happy. Other plumbers couldn't figure out how to properly circumvent my new main beam which cut across the old panned joists. These guys made a custom piece out of sheet metal, moved my gas line, installed the piece, reconnected the bx to my furnace other contractors had for some reason disconnected, checked my stove and dryer after the gas line reconnect and I am very happy. They send photos of their techs in advance so you know who will arrive. Very professional and pleasant. Cost was reasonable. From diagnostics to creation of piece to installation was 5 business days. Will definitely use Pipe Works again.

Lloyd Joseph, technician for Pipe Works showed up and did excellent work; firstly, by making me feel comfortable in knowing that I wasn't being taken for a ride, and secondly, by making me feel confident in the quality of work he would provide. He conducted a video inspection of the sewer line with drain cleaning, which entailed the removal and reset of the toilet, supplied and installed a clean out cap.

On one of the hottest days of the year, I called Pipe Works @ 6:30AM to see if/when a technician could come out to fix our A/C. Given the timing (heatwave, Friday morning, height of summer), I was not expecting to see a technician until much later in the day -- if at all. Not the case! The phone was answered promptly and I was advised a technician would call me back in 15 minutes (which they did) and the technician said he would be at our home by 8:30 (which he was). He quickly diagnosed the problems, patiently explained what needed to be done, and had our A/C back up and running within 2.5 hours. I've used Pipe Works on a number of home improvement jobs and always been impressed with the quality of their work. My experience with the A/C repair was stellar and I will gladly call them if/when a similar issue arises in the future.

My wife called them and she was told that they charge $100 to provide an estimate. The $100 would be credited to us if we were to use them. I could not believe it and called myself and was told the same. Let me get this straight, I would have to pay them for an opportunity to do work for me? Strange concept. I have worked in the commercial real estate development industry for 20 years. If I paid people to come out and provide estimates for simple work, Our projects would be bankrupt! What a scam. From the reviews it looks like they do good work but this practice is not right.

Lloyd came and told us he could not service our hot water heater, as it was over 20 years old. He told us what was required in a new one. He came back the following day and started to work. 2 days later we had a brand new water heater!

My garden hose faucet was leaking and needed to be replaced. The company was very quick to respond, employee was courteous and explained required work, very neat, spent about an hour completing the work.  The price was, in my opinion, extraordinarily high for the work that was required. I would not use them again nor would I recommend them for that reason.

I found pipe works online and saw good reviews, so called them on a Sunday night. They were very responsive in returning my call and offered to have a plumber out the same night or Monday btw 9 and 12. I decided to wait until Monday and Mario came over about 3. He was very knowledgable and confident the problem could be fixed. He put my mind at ease and explained to me what was happening and how he could fix it. He was very pleasant and patient with my questions and recommended solutions for some of my other plumbing improvements. Thank you Mario! He also offered a camera inspection of the sewer. Within the an hour, Ray came over, used a camera to inspect my sewer drain and showed me the video. I feel fortunate to have found Pipe Works and that the professionals who worked on my drain were knowledgable, skilled plumbers who game me expert advice. I will definitely use this company again.

My water softener died, wasn't sure if I wanted another or something different. I visited Pipe Works to discuss options, sat with a salesperson and the owner and discussed how the Halo 5 works. Went home, did some online research and although quite a bit more than a new water softener decided to go with Halo 5. It will save me the time, expense and energy of hauling salt home and loading it into the unit. The tech arrived and first we reviewed the current pipe setup and how to replace it. He took nothing for granted making sure to consult me on placement and positioning of valves as well as unit. He proceeded with the job, taking care to not have escaping water all over the basement and explaining and answering questions along the way; very professional.and courteous the entire time. Install complete he cleaned up while we were flushing the house, we did the paperwork (now all online) and he was on his way.
