Description of Work: I have known Phil at Metro Pools since I was a kid but when I hired him 8 years ago I was doing so without any previous pool ownership experience. I was just hoping that my buddy would be good at his job and guess what, I was wrong... he turned out to be GREAT at his job! I had just bought my first house. It had an inground pool. I thought it was going to be awesome. Little did I know that having a pool is a commitment and stuff happens. This pool was not a pool made in paradise, this pool was a pool made in ****! First, Phil got me up and running and put in a new liner. Knowing that I had just bought my first house he did what he could to help on the price. Then over the winter the liner floated and froze in a bad way. That Spring we pulled it, added a drywell, put in a new liner and a pump. Once again, knowing that this was an unfortunate situation and I was a young and expecting father, Phil was generous. The repairs were done perfectly and I never had another problem. 7 years later, last Summer, we bought a new house, also with a pool from ****! I'll spare you the drama, but just this afternoon he and his crew finished the job. They added a drywell, patched the vermiculite, put in new skimmers, put in a new liner and with the help of JBJ Electric, added a new LED light. The work was done quickly, efficiently and at an excellent price. I am totally thrilled. Now, I am not the kind of person who writes reviews. But, as I sit here, having a beer, watching the water fill up in my beautifully renovated, practically new pool, I felt the need to let people know about Metro Pools. These guys are awesome and their work is top notch. I highly recommend reaching out to Lexi in the front office (the person that really runs the show) and letting her know what you need. You will not be disappointed. In fact, I can guarantee that you too, when all of the hard work and stress has passed, will be absolutely thrilled with the results. Long live Metro Pools. Description of Work: Asked for an estimate to replace a 20x40 vinyl inground pool liner. Prompt appointment, fair price. Also identified another potential issue that I agreed was valid and could use some attention. Have not yet had service performed but will consider Metro at a later date.

Description of Work: They gave us the best price of 3 estimates and that included the best liner material for both the sides and floor of the pool of all 3 quotes as well. They had the liner all ready to install in just about a week or so after we ordered it even though we didn't expect for it to come in that fast. They were able to install it the day we requested and had the pool ready to go for the weekend as promised. The only thing that I would have changed is to be able to set up an actual timed appointment so that I could be home when they came. They are able to tell you the day, but not necessarily the time. In the scope of things that was not that big a deal. I will use them later in the season to purchase a new cover as their prices once again beats the competition.

Description of Work: Metro Pools managed to give my entire backyard a complete facelift. What once was a wrap around driveway flanked by a crumbling retaining wall, is now an beautiful oasis that encompasses an amazing in-ground pool, 2 jacuzzis and a waterfall.

Description of Work: First id like to say that I never write a review for anyone, however the experience I had, anyone looking for a pool or pool service needs to read this. Winter of 2012 I had the idea of putting in a pool. I thought It would be a simple project, make some calls, get some quotes, get a pool. Its nothing like you would imagine. There is a ton of stuff your not told about (gas lines, water lines, permits,what if you hit rock etc). I had 5 different pool company's come and got a HUGE difference in pricing. I decided to go with Metro pools and this is why. Chris and philly were the most honest with me upfront. They informed me of every possible situation and what would happen if it came to. During the process I must have changed my mind 50 times on what goes where and what color is what etc and every time we just laughed and made it work. Never was there a time when there was an (upcharge) or a (that's gonna cost more). Every day the crew left, there was never a mess and everything was safely put away and I was even called while I was at work and was updated on what was going on. Metro had all the people in place to make everything go smoothly, (plumbers, electricians, excavators, masons, landscapers etc) and never was there a "that cant be done". these guys knew what they were doing confidently every step of the way. Metro handled everything from beginning to the very end (permits to pool toys) The team at metro made me feel comfortable and like family and to this day we still keep in touch. GREAT JOB AND A HATS OFF TO METRO POOLS AND A HUGE THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY FAMILY'S DREAM POOL COME TRUE AND FOR YEARS OF ENJOYMENT TO COME!!!!!!

Description of Work: Had this company install an in ground pool in my yard. In addition they come by and do the maintenance and all opening and closing of the pool. They were very professional, quick, and open to my decisions on what kind of custom in ground pool i wanted. I will be using them again at my new home.
