Horrible !!!

Overpriced for all jobs requested. Was nice at first but then got mean through text. Insulting me and my husband. Condescended and patronized me because I am a woman who knew what needed to be done. We called him out on his lack of organization in describing the process for the work and how overpriced the work was. He kept changing everything. Telling me I needed this when we didn't then saying we didn't. Harassed us repeatedly after telling him we did not need his services and we were going with someone else.

Overcharged, took all day which was longer than promised. The work preformed was shabby and showed minimal effort. The owner of the business, Mike, was loud and off putting; seemed to be under the influence of narcotics on the job. Very in your face and lacking in manners.

Call Michael multiple times, first time he went out gave an estimate, waited for 2 months never called to setup a day to come out and do the work. Contacted him twice more each time he said he would come out never showed. Spoke to him he said he was coming. Never did. Called and left message one day last week, never called me back. Called twice yesterday would not even answer the call.

Fantastic. We highly recommend Mike and his team to everyone. He really helped us when we were in a bind. We would definitely use him again.

Mike did an awesome job. fast response time for the estimate and follow through. Everything that was done was quick and professional. I will recommend him to anyone and will use him for future projects.

Please let me update my last review. I apologize for my less than positive review, posted on the 5th of April. I had no way of knowing that there was a family emergency. I totally understand what happened, & I wish to take back my previous review. I hope that all turned out ok. I do have another appointment set for this month. Thank you for getting in touch with me today, & clarifying the situation. I will attempt to have Angie's List remove my previous 4-5-16 review from the site.

We were required to fix a crack in our basement interior foundation in order to sell our home.  Mike came out to give us an estimate and give his professional opinion on the nature of the crack. The crack was from the initial build of the home 16 years ago, when they originally laid the foundation. Although he felt it was not necessary to fix, and wasn't causing any damage to the home or the interior of the basement, we agreed to fix the crack for the new buyers of our home. Mike came 48 hours later to fix the crack with his employee. They were extremely professional and clean. They described what the process was to fix the crack, how long it would take and he even moved furniture for us. I would/will use MJ General Contracting again for additional projects in our home. His professional opinion, expertise and follow-through are wonderful. 

Mike showed up 15 min early for our appointment.. I am a stickler for time.. He explained process to me and showed me samples of upgraded shingles.. On the day of work they were prompt and very clean. I was amazed at how fast and neat the work was completed. I was told 5 days and to my delight the  project was completed in less than 4!!  A+++   Not very often do these type of projects go this smooth!! (for me at Least)

I called Mike at MJ General Contractors and he was able to fix my entire downstairs as well as my roof.  The hurricane caused some damage to my roof and water damage inside.  Mike replaced the entire back of my roof.  I had hired another contractor to do the work on the inside but after a few weeks I realized I had made a bad decision. The other contractors work was less than quality and they were not being honest with me.  I picked up the phone and Mike came over right away.  He gave me a great price to demo my kitchen.  Once he started and I saw how great his work is I kept adding project after project.  After a few weeks I basically ended up with a brand new house.  I would hire him again in an instant!
