Customer Service on phone = 5 stars Customer Service once on the property = 2 stars Price- overpriced for a simple clogged drain and garbage disposal replacement. I purchased garbage disposal myself from local store and their price for the install and to unclog the drain was still $376.40 for garbage disposal labor + Snake kitchen sink was $303.75 = $680.15 =a 1 star. In addition the technician changed pricing on the unclog and then said there was no guarantee on the work. After completion of the job I ran my dishwasher and no water. Technician had to be called to restore water flow. And he was disgruntled about returning.

The job of the century! Martinelli’s crew did an outstanding job with our bathroom. From completely gutting our tiny master bathroom to finish. They completed our vision and then some. Mr. Steam steam shower, rain shower, Bain ultra air jet tub, porcelain and glass tile, marble vanity and marble shower floor. Recessed lighting and crystal vanity lights helped complete the look. I am so thankful for the hard work they put in to get our bathroom finished and could not be more grateful for the time they put in to get the job done by our deadline. now Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness DO NOT USE JACK MARTINELLI!!!! Wholly unprofessional and a scam artist. We found him on Home Advisor back in July 2020. He had good reviews and seemed very nice ( HE IS NO LONGER LISTED ON HOME ADVISOR). We quickly learned the truth. We paid Jack Martinelli to put a water heater in our rental property. He tried to scam our insurance carrier (USAA) for $10,000 and charge us $1500. Needless to say, our insurance carrier didn’t pay them that amount. My insurance carrier also recommended that we don't utilize their services ever again. They inflate prices and are very unprofessional. Also, the water heater wasn't installed up to the New Jersey code. We learned that through inspection, after receiving the inspection report on Friday (9/18/20). I called him (9/19/20) to discuss it and see when he can install the copper jumpers. He became rude and started cursing at me. Mind you, I called on a Saturday morning, and they were supposed to be 24 hours. He said, and I quote,” what the F%ck do you want me to do about it at 8 clock on a Saturday morning. I'll call you on Monday.” then hung up the phone. Wow! PLEASE, PEOPLE DON’T USE THEM!!! There are too many NICE professional plumbers out there. This piece of POO ? doesn't need your business. Service: Install water heater Edit: After writing a review about my experience with Jack Martenilli had the audacity to text me a message. I was unable to upload a photo but I coped and paste what he wrote. Please see below & you be the judge. “pathetic people like u that have nothing better to do but scam and try and make people miserable like you expect to do nothing to that dump and scam the insurance for your neglect...unfortunately your not smart enough to realize we were out 5 times and put a w.h in for next to nothing..u call on Saturday thinking I have to jump for you..keep putting reviews anyone that's reads them knows your a clown with nothing better trying to do u can't affect me .your gonna learn the definition of insurance fraud and slander..I promise!!u can't affect me because people know class and quality, 2 things u will never have!!!!!“ Now is this a company you want to deal with? Where is the professionalism?

"some people are truly bizarre!!after being called out, the 2 experienced techs arrived and found a leaking hot water heater!we gave a great price to replace it and they hired us to do the job.it was completed with no problems..the house was neglected for a while and there was water damage and mold in multiple locations..the couple kept calling trying to get us to lie to there insurance company to get them money they didn't deserve and commit insurance fraud and ofcourse we refused too..after multiple attempts they didn't like it and this is there repayment for hard work and honesty!!,they want to defame us but anyone could see through there twisted lies!!90 percent of all sites reviews are positive the only problems are people that want something for nothing. its sad the mentality of some people!!!!"

Jack was the most rude and unprofessional contractor I've ever worked with and I've been a homeowner for 30 years. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. He showed up, was ready to walk in without a mask. He saw me give him a look and then asked if I wanted him to go back to his truck to get a mask. I replied that I would. He replied, and in a nasty tone, "Then you wear one, too!" I told him that wasn't a problem. He came in. I told him my air conditioner wasn't putting out cold air. We went into my basement. He looked at my heater first and like one of his other 'F' rated reviews said, he immediately told me that my furnace needed to be replaced (60 seconds after being in my basement); that carbon monoxide would leak from it. I told him a) you're here to look at my air conditioner, not my heater and b) I have carbon monoxide detectors that should work. He said, "Well then if your kids die, that's on you. I wouldn't do it but that's on you." Jack started using HVAC terms he knew I wouldn't understand but never pulled anything apart inside. We were in the basement for 3 minutes, maximum. We then went outside. He walked to the fan and it wasn't running (side of the house). He never even walked over to look at it, see if there were any issues with the wires/cable...NOTHING! He just tells me that this is a serious problem, my unit is too old to repair and that to replace it, it would cost me $10,000 with him and $15,000 if I went to other competitors of his listed on this site. This is all within 5 minutes of him arriving at my house...no exaggeration. I told him this was a lot to take in (meaning, no mask, rude comment, if my kids die they die, not looking at the unit outside, quoting my $10K without even looking at anything) and that I needed a little time to process this. He was rude and nasty and I told him, "We're done." As he was walking away, he was saying things under his breath as he walked back to his truck. I made the mistake of asking this moron what he said. He screamed up the driveway, "BRAINLESS" as if to say I'm brainless. I responded with a few expletives as he did and I thought this was going to progress to getting physical. He was wise to drive away when he did. I'll leave it at that. I've been in Sales for 3 decades and try my best to give the service I expect to get. This guy is a fraud. Who shows up, tries to scare you into buying by telling you your kids could die, quotes $10,000 without touching anything and all within 5 minutes? Use this company at your peril. Don't say I didn't warn you.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I attempted to use Martinelli Plumbing for a furnace certification as part of a real estate transaction. After 2 missed appointments, without phone calls, Jack arrived at my home the next morning. After checking the furnace, he proceeded to use fear tactics and sales pressure to coerce us into paying several thousand dollars for a new furnace. He told us that it wasn't safe for him or my family to be in our home. I decided to get a second opinion. Later that day, another company came out and told us that some minor repairs could be done for a small fraction of the cost quoted by Martinelli. This company assured us that the conditions were perfectly safe in our home. Within a few days, the furnace was repaired and certified and we were able to move forward with the sale of our home. I suggest staying as far away from Martinelli plumbing, as possible.

Jack from Martinelli’s was an absolute professional. He squeezed me in after his last scheduled stop and went above and beyond to take care of our AC problem, on a Saturday night no less, and ensured that he would follow up on Monday. He walked me through the entire diagnosis and repair, and the price he quoted was cheaper than other companies by a long shot. Highly recommend this company, and Jack specifically to anyone who needs plumbing or AC repair.

We had the estimate done on Wednesday morning and job was completed on Friday. Other than a couple of hiccups involving a wrong part from the supplier warehouse, the job went flawlessly from start to finish. A courtesy followup call was received the next day to ensure the system was operating as anticipated. No trash or parts from the old system was left behind. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have any type of HVAC work to be done. The $$ amount was right where we anticipated the job would cost. Very professional and courteous. A+++

This company is very responsive, prompt and clean. The plumber came when he said he would and did the work quickly, neatly and efficiently. It's hard to get plumbers for small jobs like this, but this company is very responsive to all plumbing problems.
