I think they could improve by having a team to check the work of their people periodically and make sure they are all of the same caliber.
They spent forever in the kitchen and we have a tiny kitchen. They had cleaned the entire inside of the oven by hand and it has an automatic cleaner thing and it said in the Big Deal if you want us to clean inside the appliances let us know because that's not part of what we do but when I went in there she'd already spent 40 minutes cleaning the oven. And then the floors, I don't think they mopped the floors, they just swept them.

Very well. Two workers showed up promptly. We walked through house and discussed what needed to be done. They finished the job in two hours. They did a vey good job.

"Hello (Member Name Removed), Thank you for taking the time to give a review. Thank you for giving us an "A" rating. We would like to respond to your "C" rating for promptness. Most people find it most convenient to go about their day and either give us a spare key or their garage code. If you choose to be at home for the cleaning and cannot take the earliest morning appointment, like most service companies, we are able to give you an Estimated Time of Arrival. However, we pride ourselves in being able to give you a small window that is within the hour of their arrival. We are also area able to send you a text message or call you when the team is on their way to your home. We cannot however, give you the exact time they will arrive weeks in advance. When I tell you the time for your next appointment, it is my best educated guess, ie an Estimated Time of Arrival. When I tried to explain this to you on the phone, your response was..."why is this conversation taking so long?" and you canceled your appointment. I wish you well."
"Since I started this company 8 years ago, I have never asked anyone to sign a contract and I still do not ask people to sign one. Initially, when I go out to a home and meet with a new customer, I do however, give out an informative letter that explains what is included in our services. In the letter I explain some very basic information such as, "please make sure we are able to get inside the home on the day of your cleaning; whether its with a key, a garage code or that someone will be home." I go over what cleaning products they would like us to use in each room of their home, and set a schedule that fits them best. I did my best to try and satisfy you and your requests. I sent out 5 different teams to your home. None of them made you happy. It was at that point I told you to find someone else. This January will mark our 9th Anniversary of Total House Cleaning being in business, and I am proud to say, those same five teams have helped me to clean and maintain the homes of close to 300 regular (weekly, bi-weekly, every 3 weeks and monthly) customers. We have moved- in and moved-out closed to 500 families. All of our customers have had very specific requests for us to keep in mind while we clean their home and they have been a pleasure to serve and work with. Again, [removed member name] I apologize that we were not able to help you but I hope you find someone who can."
I told them that we just had the hardwood floors refinished and they tracked wet foot prints, along with some debris, all over the hardwood. They did not pay attention to this. I had to clean it all myself after they left, so my husband would not see it and freak out. I asked them bleach the grout (in the bathrooms) or do whatever they could to brighten it all and it looks the same.
What they DID clean was done okay. Not bad at all. Just really disappointed with the carelessness of the hardwood floors.
"I am disappointed that I am finding out about this by reading this on the internet and you didn't call me to discuss it. I have called you twice since I read this and you have not return my call so I will respond to you on here instead. As you know, the girls tried several cleaning methods on the bathroom floor but there has some kind of white paint on the grout that would not come up. You told them that you thought whoever lived in the house before you did not clean the floor too often and they should not worry too much because you plan on remolding the bathroom anyway. If you had called me, I would have apologized to you and offered to take a look at your bathroom floor myself. I could have recommended a special product made just to clean grout. Then I would have offered to send them back again or another team to redo your bathroom floor at no charge. As far as the wood floors, they dried their shoes with a towel before entering and put rags down on your floor to step on. If there was any part of the floor that got wet, all you had to do was ask them to clean it and they would have. Again, we apologize. As far as the time they arrived. Like most services, we do not give an exact arrival time. It is an estimated window of time. I prefer they drive safely however, if you had let me know that you needed to get to work, I would have informed them and they would have been there sooner."
