I am not a customer who tolerates poor workmanship nor bad customer service - simpy because there is no reason to. In the case of Falcon Heating and Plumbing - I couldn't be more pleased with the results - they exceeded my expectations and more. Bill Falco and his staff were very professional, performed quality workmanship and showed up on time. He provided a competitive and fair estimate for the job completed. You can believe all the good reviews this company has received - they have earned this customer loyalty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone who would listen....they are a solid, knowledgeable and well respected local company. There is no reason to go elsewhere.

They are really really good. They did great work and they were fast and efficient. Bill set up the appointment for the inspection and he followed up on the project afterwards. I would highly recommend him.

Bill Falco is very professional, responsible and easy to work with. From the initial call to the last day when the job was completed, he was always on top of every single detail and very responsive to our requests. I will hire him again for all our plumbing needs. His crew is also very professional and courteos, and are always willing to help you and listen to your needs. Our project was completed on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the quality of Bill's work and his attention to details.

Pipe replacement done with minimal downtime to affected units,neatly, efficiently and very reasonably priced. Hot water heaters installed quickly, neatly and efficiently. Boiler and hot water system conversion. Bill was able to schedule us in mid October just prior to the heating season. He staged and set up the job efficiently as cold weather moved in. They removed the old units and installed the new ones just before hurricane Sandy hit the tri-state area. Although we were not affected by flooding the fabricators making the duct work were flooded out and unable to finish their work for over a week. Falcon stepped up and created a system to vent and run 3 of the 5 units while the ductwork was being completed. We were without power for 5 days during this period and Bill was able to provide a generator so that we could provide limited services to our residents. We can't say enough about how Bill and his crew were able to shift and adjust to accomodate our difficult situation. They were open to our requests and suggestions and did quality work solving a huge headache, our old inefficient system. They supported us with the programming of the system and made sure it was running as efficiently as possible. When there were any problems with adapting the system to work efficiently they were more the willing to make adjustments (ie. replacing the circulator pump with a more powerful one to make sure domestic hot water was there on demand, at no additional cost). Most importantly for us, were the terms on which we were able to pay for the service. Bill worked out an arrangement where we were able to pay for half of the job in the first month and make payments over the next six months. This made it possible for us to undertake the investment. Highly recommend them for any size job.

Called Bill and he was able to get to my house within a few days to give me a quote. Bill appeared to be a very knowledgeable guy and offers high quality products. Quote was competitive. If i decide to move forward with the work I will most likely use Bill.

The Pressuretrol was replaced on 3/14, and Bill installed the automatic water feeder on 3/22. During testing of the feeder's operation it was discovered that the boiler's low-water cut-off was not working correctly, so we scheduled that to be replaced on 3/26. Bill arrived promptly for all three visits, and in each case made sure I was completely satisfied with the work before he left. Not everyone in this line of work really knows steam systems - Bill's knowledge and experience with them is both obvious and highly reassuring. I will gladly use them again for future repairs, and should I need to replace my aging boiler in the future, they'd be the ones I'd hire to do it. I strongly recommend Falcon Plumbing & Heating to all!

Our Boiler failed one night. Mr. Falcon came the next morning. The next his team came and replaced it. They left everything super clean. They noticed that the old boiler had been piped incorrectly and fixed it as part of the package. They also painted all the pipes. The new boiler is working even better than the old one ever did. We highly recommend them.

Bill came to my rescue when my steam boiler had problems starting yesterday. The house had dropped to under 58 degrees and I could not figure out the reason the boiler would not start. We evaluated the electric and gas, but nothing seemed to work. When I spoke to Bill, he had the solution...rubble in my chimney that prevented air to move from the boiler and out the chimney. He explained how to temporarily remove the duct work and clean out the the problem. I would never have thought of this plan of action. After cleaning it out, the boiler is back on and my house is warm again.

My GC recommended them. They're price came in a little bit higher than others but were very negotiable. They did clean work. Explained everything afterwards and made sure I was knowledgable of how all the aspects of the water heater functioned and that I was satisfied.

Bill Falcone arrived on time and provided the best estimate of the three we sought. He is professional and prompt. The work was done by his crew without any issues whatsoever. The water heater leaked about a week after installation and Bill came immediately and replaced it the next day with no cost to us.

Excellent work. Our job was a bit more complicated than the typical oil to gas heating conversion because we have two heating zones, one steam and the other hot water. Previously the hot water zone was coming off a tankless coil on the oil boiler, and we also had a gas hot water heater. Falcon was the only one of several contractors who sized up the situation properly by recommending two gas boilers: one larger boiler for the steam heat and a second smaller one for the second heating zone and hot water, replacing the hot water heater. This cost a bit more but will be worth it in energy and cost savings. And I think the price was fair for what we got. Falcon stands out for a number of other reasons. Even though this job involved a lot of money and took two days to complete, the deal was made on a handshake months before, and we did not pay a cent until it was completed. I have only encountered that kind of practice once before, and both companies were high-quality operations. Falcon does almost nothing but heating, including lots of oil to gas conversions every year, so these guys really know what they are doing. They install a number of quality parts that aren't required by code, and they work cleanly and efficiently. When someone came from our town for the final inspection, he did not just approve it but marveled at the elegance of the work. How often does that happen?

I prefer to hire local small businesses, preferably, where an owner is involved on the job. Another requirement is for me to be able to reach that person by phone. Thus, I do not hire companies where the phone calls end on some sort of a voice mail system where you have to leave your phone and number. Bill Falcon Plumbing and Heating is a small local business, and I had never have a problem reaching Bill. He is a no-nonsense kind of a guy, very knowledgeable, with a lot of patience, and you can quickly see when talking to him that he knows his trade very well. Although his price quote was not the lowest, I had confidence in him to replace my heating components. Furthermore, I followed his advice on the type of system to buy, the components layout in the utility room, and I am very happy that I did. It was a big job and there were some minor hiccups during the job. Bill was very straightforward about the situation and we were able to work things out. Overall, I am very pleased with work.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME USING BILL FALCONE FOR HIS SERVICES. HOWEVER, UPON MY JOINING ANGIE'S LIST I WAS LOOKING FOR CONTRACTORS FOR PRICING WHEN I STUMBLED UPON BILL FALCON'S NAME BEING ON THIS LIST. WE HAD USED HIM PREVIOUSLY WHEN WE HAD PURCHASED OUR HOUSE 17YRS AGO IT CAME WITH AN OLD COAL BURNING BOILER SYSTEM THAT WAS CONVERTED TO OIL. HOWEVER, IN 2001 WE HAD USED HIM TO CHANGE FROM THE OLD COAL BURNING BOILER TO A NEW OIL BURNING BOILER. JUST RECENTLY WE CONVERTED OUR HOME FROM OIL TO GAS WITH A BRAND NEW SYSTEM WHICH BY THE WAY WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF SELLING OUR HOME. WE ALSO HAD PSE&G GIVE US A QUOTE WHICH WAS WAY OVER THE TOP!!!!

After reviewing the repairs with several contractors, Bill came out twice to review the situation. He provided the lowest price and a thorough specification of the steam boiler and steam radiator system requirements. They were on time and performed the work as described in the proposal. Steam boiler systems are simple but complicated. You need to do your homework to understand this type of heating system. Bill made the right calculations for the size of the steam boiler furnace required for the size of the radiators throughout the house. We had a variety of BTU sizes from various contractors but Bill was the only one who made the correct calculation. Furthermore, Bill used "black steel" instead of copper for the supply pipes coming out of the boiler which is more costly to cut and thread but ensures that there will be no leaks in the years to come. They also installed a configuration of piping from the water heater supply to the furnace to prevent radiator water back up into the water heater and a three valve drainage system. In other words, he created a system to allow us to maintain the system well for many years and dirty radiator water cannot get back into the hot water tank. Bill is a consummate professional. He thoroughly explained the science behind the materials and required work. He was nice enough to repair some other minor plumbing issues at no extra cost. They were cordial and cleaned up any debris. I highly recommend Falcon Plumbing and Heating.

Here is Bill in a nutshell: attentive, professional, clear, punctual, responsive and does what he says he's going to do. He also has an excellent crew and it says something when someone hires well like that. Bill came to do the estimate on the change from oil to gas and gave us several different options. He did give us recommendations, and had good reasons for them. After speaking with a few other plumbers, we agreed that we wanted to work with Bill because he seemed both straight-forward and knowledgeable. The work the crew did was excellent - it was obvious just by looking at it how solid it was. That both my husband and I appreciated very much. When finished, our basement was left immaculate. Bill came back to see the work and test the system and make sure we would be good to go in the winter. Everything turned out extremely well and I would recommend his company without reservation. Made the decision to convert from Oil to Gas. Mr. Falco personally came and assessed what I would need to make the conversion. he installed a ThermoFlo Boiler with and automatic water feeder which came with a programmable thermostat. We added a 75 gallon Bradford White water heater. His company also contacted a chimney specialist and the appointments were set up through his office as was communication between the two. Thankfully our chimney was sufficient to vent the new boiler and the new water heater The work was done in 2 days, the gentlemen that came were neat and respectful of my busy household. They let me know when they were coming and going and when my cat escaped from being locked up they made sure the basement door was closed so she could not get outside. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, the basement was left very neat and they swept the floors in the area of the new installation. Mr. Falco even came on the day of the final inspection, which I was most thankful for. 2 weeks later we've had a consistent hot shower every morning and I haven't had to run to the basement in a towel to fill the chamber!

I was very pleased with the work. Bill seems to be good with steam heat, which is difficult to find these days. His workers were punctual and efficient and were able to complete the job in one day. Bill also seems like an honest guy - instead of pushing most expensive product, he made some recommendations that resulted in cost savings.

Our boiler cracked open and flooded on a Wednesday evening. On Thursday I received quotes from about 10 companies for replacing the boiler and for converting from oil to gas. Falcon's owner Bill gave me a very competitive quote and he really appeared to know what he was talking about. I made the decision late on Thursday and Bill got his crew there the next day as he knew that we had no heat. He converted us to a gas boiler and when they installed the system they took out some of the bends in the steam lines to make things more efficient. Bill took care of the permits and made sure that it passed inspection before final payment was due. A week later I noticed a return line dripping a bit away from the boiler, it was not part of the job that he did but he sent somebody out to fix it anyway. Before the job was started his crew was very careful to lay down tarps so that they would not leave a mess and when they left, the place was cleaner than when they started. They were on time and completed the job faster than I had expected. I would highly recomend them to anyone needing this type of work done in their home or business.

His team were professional, polite and arrived on time. Did the water heater replacement with no fuss and left only after ensuring I was happy. Later in the day I noticed an issue with hot water to my kitchen sink and called Bill the next morning. He listened and promised to be round later that morning. He turned up on time, listened to what I had to say, took a look at what was happening and stated that the fawcet was likely blocked/broken. Since i had work going on in the kitchen he couldn't take a look immediately, but left me with some instructions and said if I still had an issue to give him a call back. First class service, thoroughly professional and good value. Will not hesitate to use him again for my plumbing needs.

It was a great experience and was completely painless! Bill gave us a very fair estimate. Within a couple of days he arrived with a team of heating specialists. They uninstalled my old oil furnace, attached a brand new gas one, installed a chimney liner and also hooked up the house to the new gas meter outside. Then he taught my husband and I how to use our new furnace and how to program the thermostat. Very thorough! I'm sure there was much more involved as the work took all day but they made it look so easy. When it was done, I was amazed by how great everything looked down the basement - the new furnace is awesome (as is my brand new electronic thermostat), and the jumble of old pipes down there is no more - they fixed it and make it much more efficient. They also cleaned up completely down there! There was nothing left for me to do except enjoy my new gas furnace at a great price. :-)

After resolving some issues regarding arranging the code inspections and finalizing the total cost to include the permit fees, I am satisfied with the job. The quality of the work was very good.

Bill did a great job replacing our hot water heater. He was extremely prompt and neat in his work. During the estimate process, he provided the most detail of any of the contractors I met with about what he does, and how he does it. His price was fair and he didn't take any shortcuts. I would highly recommend the Falcon team.

Falcon did three jobs for us. They replaced the furnace. This cost $5000. He was frank about the types of furnaces and recommended the cheaper furnace that he said was identical to the more well known but costlier model. The workers were pleasant, trustworthy, and professional. They kept their work area clean as well. We were happy with the work. Bill Falco, the owner, followed up several days later to check on the work and see if we were happy with everything. We also decided to have the water heater replaced and a new lining put in the chimney. Falcon did these two jobs for $2000 total. The water heater was a fairly straight forward operation. The chimney lining was a very difficult job a lot of time spent on the roof yanking the liner down a crooked chimney. But the guys did it and did it well. I was happy with the work the company did. I am not sure if I got the best price or not, as I did not get any other estimates. But other heating and plumbing people I've had come around have seen Falcon's sticker on our units and said that they are a good company.

The project went very well. The Project is a two phase project. First, the boiler was installed and all pipes were lay out after the roughing of the new addition, then, the baseboards were installed after the walls were finished. Bill Falcon Plumbing & Heating did a great job. The work is nicely done, and looks beautiful. They also did a great cleaning job after the each day?s work. They also gave me the best price. I am very satisfied with the work in that I got the best product and service for the best price.
