Andy was great, very attentive, very professional, and very knowledgeable. He did great work fast organized. They Remove the solar panels in one day, then came back did the entire roof replacement in one day, and then came back and installed and tested the solar panels to make sure everything worked. Topnotch from start to finish! They called back within an hour. Tech stopped by 3 hours later while passing through to diagnose the problem. Within days an appointment to fix and repaired system was completed. A faulty disconnect was found,replaced with system running in no time. Very efficient with extremely reasonable pricing. I have had solar for 12 yrs now and this is the best solar company by far. Almost all others show 0 interest in repairs and dont even return phone calls. Positive Energy Solutions provides amazing service! We recently purchased a home with solar panels on it and we had no idea what to do with them. Andy took the time to educate us on how they work, how to track our energy, as well as how to transfer ownership. The tear on our roof was repaired ($500) and they helped us to transfer ownership of the panels from the previous owner to us ($399). They have truly made what seemed like a confusing aspect of our new home to an easy to understand and manage aspect! I would highly recommend them! ps...THEY ARE SUPER PUNCTUAL!!! That gets an A+ in my book!

Service was quick and easy. Family run business who we've had work on our solar installation 2 times. Both times were for a faulty solar converter. Initial visit covered checking the panels on the roof to determine the root cause. Andy was quick to diagnose a fuse issue on one of the converters and was able to replace and walk us through the process if the problem should happen again. Andy warned that the converter having the issue was old and could need replacing. 2nd visit Andy returned to replace the older converter. Since our system has 3 converters he recommended and installed a converter we could use to rewire either of the other 2 converts through it in case of another converter going. Work was done quick, clean, and reasonably priced. We'd use them again is the need arises.

Don't even think about using these guys. The work they did on our roof was as an exploration in incompetence. 3 other companies that reviewed what they did to the roof laughed- but there was nothing funny about what they charged. We were still in the process of buying the house when they came for the "repair" (so we were not there when they arrived). The next day no one was really sure if they had come or not (because they did basically nothing). The bill was real though- $1,000. Run away and save yourself the trouble and expense of having to get everything they touch redone.

Andy, the owner, was fantastic. One of the best contractors I have ever worked with. The work was expertly done and at a very fair price. Candi in the office, was fantastic as well, even going as far as to contact the distributor to have some of the replacements parts (the original parts were 20 yrs old) covered under a warranty. Both were done as estimated. More importantly, other solar service companies refused the work since they did not install the system.

The company installed solar panels on our roof at the end of 2019. With the installation process itself we were very happy and the panels are running great. However, an important part of a Solar installation in NJ is the registration of solar certificates - which pays back part of the installation costs by earning and selling those certificates. The registration was part of the contract with the company. 1.5 years after the installation this registration has still not been completed - costing us thousands of dollars per year. We have been following up with the company regularly over this entire time and received numerous (false) confirmations that this will now be fixed within the next days. In the meantime the registration period for the more favorable SRECs has run out and the best we can hope for is a registration under TREC - this will result in a minimum loss of around 8'000 USD for us. The company ensured us in writing they would compensate us for this loss, but has failed to do so as well as continuous to fail to register us at all. The office staff and owner have stopped reacting to our calls and emails and are even not answering a complaint we have filed with the Better Business Bureau. The total financial damage we are facing is at the moment around 20'000 USD.

My new go to company for any solar issues. These guys are great. I had a new system installed by another company and my system was not generating any power. The other company never got back to me and have been telling me they are trying to have someone come out. That has been since October of 2019. I searched around and found Positive Energy Solutions. They are one of the few companies that are actually eager and willing to work on systems that are not theirs. I sent them an email (1/6/20) and i was contacted back within a few hours. They were able to determine my issue, and assure me that they can fix it. Scheduled an appointment (1/9/20) and they showed up a few minutes early. They went right to work and were able to fix my problem and get me backup and running within an hour. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. Thanks to Positive Energy Solutions, I now have a fully functioning system with no issues. I can now monitor the power i am generating in realtime as well as anything that is using power in my house.

My family and I just moved into our new house that needed a new roof, so We decided to get solar panels at the same time. We got a few quotes from big outfits that were absolutely out of the question. They wanted an astronomical amount of money for the panels ($60,000 just for panels, no roof). Their rationale for the cost was that we would be putting our earned SRECS toward the monthly payments for 5 years and then after it was paid off, we would be able to keep our solar profits. I decided to try a smaller company, and so happy I did! We called POSITIVE ENERGY SOLUTIONS and met with Andy and Candi. Right off the bat I was happy with their presentation and explanation of the solar panel process. I could tell that Andy was passionate About what he was doing and that we were in good hands. There was absolutely no mention of them taking our SREC money for half a decade, plus Their quote for a new roof AND solar panels was more than $20,000 less than the big solar company! They started within 2 Weeks and worked through until it was finished with no funny business. My roof is EXTREMELY steep, but this was no problem for Andy and his team. My panels have been up and running for a few Weeks now and we couldn’t be happier. I would recommend POSITIVE ENERGY SOLUTIONS to anyone looking for roof work or solar panels. They are kind, fair and passionate about what they do!

They are professional and conscientious but most of all they are human and friendly. They kept their word when the job could not be completed as planned. They are prompt and considerate . When running late they called and said so and did appear. Upon completion we received a complete report with pictures of work performed and steps taken.

They were very attentive, professional and responsive, They crew work efficiently and quickly. The owner kept me well informed on the progress of the projects and very responsive to my questions via email or cell phone. I will use them again if I need roof and solar panel service.
