After roof was done, Owner called and emailed several times after it rained to be sure that new roof was adequate and keeping us dry. I would definitely use American Roofing again.

They seem nice, and maybe they do good work, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as they don't seem professional enough to do the simplest thing.

When I did speak with Mike, I always found him friendly and professional.
Our biggest complaint about the actual work was that after they did the roof, my husband found lots and lots of nails left in our yard, and had to call them to come back and clean them up. They did then return promptly to clean them up, but they should have done a better job the first time.

I contacted this company on 9/9 as I had a small leak in my roof that occurred a few days before. I left all my information with the messaging service and was told I would receive a call from the owner of the company to schedule to have someone come out and look at my roof.
What I did receive was an email a few days later from the owner, Mike. The email read "Thanks for your request. I'm sorry we are really backed up with roof work. I can't help you at this moment. Thanks...Mike"
Now as a customer....wait....a Paying Customer, if you're in the business to provide a service, then you should not be telling customers you are backed up with work and cannot help them and certainly not via email. I deserved a phone call and again, if business is that great for you, that's great! You must be doing something right. As someone who has studied Business and Marketing, you never say you cannot help someone. If in fact you are that busy, I am willing to wait until a spot opens up so that I can have my work done. I was not even given that option as you already dismissed me as a customer.
As a word of advice, this is a very bad way to conduct business. While you may look at me as a small amount of revenue for a minor rook leak that you can make up with some other repairs on someone else's house, you lost the option of any future business I will have, which we all know eventually, you'll need a new roof put on a house and anyone else that I recommend not using your company.
i told them job would take place by end of September, begging of April, not sure if this had a reason with not them not even going to job site to even look at it to give me a quote
The new siding looks great and the crew took great care in making sure seams were minimal and trims were placed properly. We are very satisfied with the workmanship. Mike's crew were professional and cleaned up after themselves everyday. There were a few nails here and there but one can't expect everything to be found.
Mike the owner was very responsive to us and worked with us very well. He explained things in plain language and did not ever make us feel rushed. He even took care of something that the crew did above and beyond the scope of work.
This review is long overdue but for sure we would use Mike and American Roofing again.
he contacted me in less than twenty-four hours. A crew of 8 or 9 men arrived on time the day the job was to start. They worked very
hard. Mike checked on the job several times a day and had his representative, Paul, on the job each day. If I needed anything or had
questions, Paul was very helpful. The job was done in three days. The job site was left clean, neat and free of all debris. Also, during the job, it was noted that my chimney was in terrible shape. Mike referred me to a chimney contractor who came, gave me a
price and replaced the chimney at the same time the roof was being done. A job I had dreaded turned out to be quickly done. The quality of the new roof is excellent. I couldn't have asked for more.
The process was very professional from the quotation to the contract details to the job being done timely and professionally. I received quite a few estimates and American Roofers by far gave me the best impression right off the bat. Mike, was very courteous and professional and upfront with the cost and service. I didn't get any fancy sales pitches like "..if you sign now we'll give you a discount, otherwise.... you know... how everything goes up....." Also after the work began, I didnt get hit with anything unexpected. My one neighbor afterwards remarked that this was a good company and he's been living there for 40 yrs. Another elderly neighbor who's retired and has plenty of time on his hands, basically watched the entire work being done, he told me. He said, "they did good work, put up the ice shields, etc., didn't take any shortcuts from what he observed."
Also I saw their work around the town and from what I can tell, they do a good job.
