Very well.  Some  minor issues that came up but all were addresses appropriately.

Very impressed with the work of landscaper Paul Smith.  A very detailed plan was presented including placement of boulders.  Having company present bids for hardscaping as well.

Easy and efficient appointment calendar, arrived on time, finished quickly.  Additionally very efficient online payment system.  
Will definitely use them again.

We lost several large shrubs during Hurricane Sandy and we wanted to replace them.  The owner, Ken, came out to look at the work needed and we discussed the option of redoing the whole front landscape, which was overgrown.  He also offered to reset the paving stones on the front walk near the front porch, where they were heaving up and creating a tripping hazard. 
We were given two estimates, one for just replacing the lost shrubs and another alternative for a complete rework of the foundation plantings.  Both estimates included the paver repair.  We found the larger estimate reasonable and decided to go ahead and completely replace the front foundation plantings.   We are very pleased with the result: the choice of plants, landscape design, and walk repair.
The sprinkler repair was completed on a subsequent visit.  The workers arrived on time and did the job well.  Unfortunately, our TV and internet cable were apparently damaged in this process, but the cable company has come to make the repair.

After sprinkler system start-up, technician discovered 3 heads were not operating which were subsequently replaced. Total work time was about 2 hours.

My backyard has flooded for years after a heavy rain or snow.  Almost a lake.  The drainage system solved my problem at a reasonable cost.  Very responsive and helpful service.  Ken is a great guy.  Easy to work with.  Highly trustworthy.  Definitely recommend for all irrigation and drainage jobs.

Arrived on time, fast repair and service.  Will use again.

Overall, the quality, professionalism, reliability and customer service were excellent.  If I had work to be done, they would be my first choice.

My husband was happy with them.  He was happy enough with what they did.  They were excellent and we had no problems.  They were nice and professional.  They sent us a bill and the paper bill was fine.  Their price was comparable.

Not much to tell, fall turn off is pretty simple. They came on time and did the job, answered my questions and gave me some advice. I was satisfied, and would use them again for any bigger work I may have.

I ultimately selected another provider based on some minor differences between the proposed contracts.  However, I would be remiss if I didn't take some time to briefly describe my experience with Hillsborough Irrigation despite not having gone with them to perform our installation.

I contacted Hillsborough Irrigation for 2 reasons:
1. At our old house, our neighbor had them install their system and it appeared to function well.
2. Their office is within a mile or two of our current home, so there was a proximity consideration.

After I contacted Hillsborough Irrigation, they came out within a day or two and provided a multiple estimates for the configurations I had requested in both e-mail and then hard copies via regular mail.

Any questions I had, which I send via e-mail, were always answered within 24 hours.

But what I think sets this company apart is that after we considered all the bids and selected another provider and informed Hillsborough Irrigation, the owner reached out to us via e-mail.  Not to dissuade me from going with another carrier or make a plea to re-consider them, but to see where they can do better by understanding what factors led us to select another carrier and to keep them in mind in the future.

So, between the price (which was on par with all the better rated providers) and the professionalism  and courtesy this company demonstrated, I would highly recommend that anyone looking for lawn irrigation work consider contacting Hillsborough Irrigation as well.
