Wow! Best experience ever. Fast professional service. Super friendly and personable. Now I can understand the previous reviewer who wrote about her "delicate tub" and how pleased she was! Used care and precision in extracting our 20 year old leaky cartridge. Price was great for such professional work.

This was my 1st experience with Angies List. I will share with you I couldn't have been more satisfied. I called Mike at Navasink Plumbing and Heating based on his reviews. I am just adding to the positive feedback. I called him in the AM, and he said he was booked but would come by in the early evening that same day if it was ok with me. He arrived at my house when he said. He didn't leave until the installation was done correctly. ( He even took a ride to a hardware store becuase i piece was missing out of the box) Coming from someone in the contracting industry, I couldn't have picked a better contractor. His pricing was more the reasonable. His workmanship was excellant.

He explained everything and said that we would need a new bowl and what it would cost to install. I will definitely use him to install the toilet and have some other small plumbing projects that I will also give him to do. I tried calling at least 5 business on Angie's list. 3 did not return calls and one could not do it that day. He had to travel over a 1/2 hour to come to my home and he was on time.

Joe was right on time and did a great job. He showed me things that were causing problems and explained them before repair. He ended up being at the house most of the day and was hustling the entire time. The best thing was that Mike called a couple days after the job was done to make sure we were happy with everything. We will definitely think of them again.

Called to have a bathroom tub/shower faucet fixed as we could not get hot water. Mike was immediately responsive and was able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. He was completely professional, friendly and knew immediately how to fix the problem. It was a minor fix but I would definitely use Mike again for any of our plumbing needs! This guy was great!!

Excellent service. After Sandy Hurricane damages, we passed all plumbing inspections easily. Mike bought plumbing parts for us so we could have the advantage of his plumbers professional discount. Timely, courteous, professional, did a great job. Very fair price, compared to other after-Sandy estimates. Would definitely call him again. Long Branch city inspector seemed to think highly of him also.

They were able to fix the delicate tub and I was satisfied with the service. I liked that they ere able to come out right away, that was great. He came out on a Sunday, which was terrific and he did not charge extra. I stayed on top of him to learn how the repair was done which did not bother him. He was good and explained to me what the problem was and potential problems. I had done some research and knew what kind of tub that I had and he went out and bought the parts before he got here so he would not have to do that later. He was very efficient in the use of his time.

"Joe" came to the house and he was great. After looking at each problem we had he described in detail what was wrong and what he was going to do to correct the problem. He also showed us the damaged parts and the new ones he was installing. At one point there was a particular part that he didn't have in the truck and he ran out to the store to buy it and came right back and continued with the job. Joe also cleaned up afterward. Would definitely recommend Joe.

Professional and prompt called when parts arrived made and kept appointment on a timely basis

Called vendor who was too busy to discuss the work and promised to return my call. After not hearing from the vendor, called once again. The vendor apologized for not returning my call and stated that they were too busy to take on additional work at this time. While they were not as responsive as I would have liked and the work could not be scheduled, I may give the vendor a call in the future.

Mike was the best- from the time I called until the installation was finished. He was friendly,professional and neat. I would only use him again! He answers his calls right away,comes out as soon as possible and gets the job done in a timely manner.

I had a gas leak that was very hard to detect and even harder to determine the exact location. NJNG told me they were stumped and to call a plumber to find the leak and fix. I'm a new homeowner and was honestly, very overwhelmed by the situation. I found Navesink Plumbing & Heating on Angie's List and they were very responsive and helpful in explaining the process and price. I immediately felt comfortable with them and made an appointment for 8am the next morning. Not only were they on time, they arrived early -- something that unfortunately, you don't see very often. These guys were pros -- they quickly found the leak and got to work on fixing the problem, which turned out to be very difficult bc the leak was at the connection to my main fuel line that was hidden not only behind cabinets but also behind a wall stud. They offered to bring in a contractor to properly remove the cabinets so as not to damage them but I ended up opting for a faster solution, which was for them to very carefully cut through the inside of the cabinet and adjoining wall to access the pipe. I know this is not ideal but given my specific situation, I opted for this rather than waiting without gas for at least another day. I am so happy we went this route. They took such care when making the cut that you will no one will ever even notice it unless you go looking inside my cabinet near the bottom. Once they got through to the pipe, they were able to quickly make the repair and then performed a 5-hour air pressure test to make sure there were no additional leaks. Once I passed, they went the extra mile and applied some sort of spray paint to all the outside fixtures to avoid rust and so the pipes all matched the outside meter components. I can not say enough positive things about Mike and his team. They took the time to explain everything, were incredibly thorough, stayed under budget and even cleaned up after themselves! This is the only plumbing company I will ever use.

Called twice... No response

Great job done by Navesink Plumbing installing piping at my house. Job done very quickly and so far it is working just fine.

Mike was super punctual and completed the job the same day.

They were very professional. They came right back after I called with a concern. So far, no problems.

It was a real bad situation but we were very happy with the overall result. Mike was very responsive and the price was definately reasonable. Mike and his helpers were very respectful, professional and neat. I called Mike on a Friday afternoon and he had his helper, Joe come out to help troubleshoot. Joe was a really great guy and he helped me pinpoint the issue. The problem was very complex since there was no easy access to the cracked pipe. About a week later, Mike came out to take a look and he determined that we would need to remove a large kitchen cabinet/pantry in order to make repairs. He arranged to have a carpenter come out to remove the cabinet and re-install once the pipe was repaired. It was a big job but these guys had it done in a few hours. Most of the copper waste line and venting system was replaced with PVC. Mike texted me pictures of the work he had done before the carpenter put everything back together. When I came home from work everything was fixed and put back together neatly. I would highly reccommend Navesink Plumbing without hesitation.

In December we had a bathroom renovated and a new toilet put in (not by this company). In late January, the new toilet stopped working. The toilet at first began to refill very slowly and made a hissing sound, then it was fine, then it would flush, but the tank would not fill at all. I was quite unhappy as this was a brand new toilet. Rather than call the installer, I decided I needed a plumber. I have not had great luck with plumbers in the past, so I checked here. I liked the many positive reviews and the fact that they were close by. I called early the next morning, and left the whole thing in the hands of my husband. He said they called back right away, made an appointment for that afternoon, came and fixed the problem, explained what had happened, and even looked at another issue we were having and advised us to call the company to get a replacement part because it should be free and then they will come back and put it in. When I get to that, we will call them. I am sad that they don't do drains, because we need that done alot. We were very happy and will use them again.

I spoke with Mike and explained the problem and that I had a video and pictures on my phone. Mike told me to send the video and pictures to him and he would call me back. He called me back 5 minutes later and told me what needed to be done. I ask him if he would come by and turn it off. (We've recently moved into this home and didn't know where the shut off valve was located.) He explained that he was picking up something for another job, but would be come by. Mike showed up at my home 30 minutes later and went into the crawl space and shut off the valve. Mike then recommended someone who could repair the sprinkler system during the spring. We didn't think anyone would of come out so quickly and fixed my problem. We appreciate all he did and will call him if we need any plumbing help!

Called Navesink Plumbing and spoke to the owner Mike. I gave him a brief description of the job, I told him that someone had started the job but kept telling me he was coming to finish and wouldn't show up. So I decided to call someone else. I called Navesink Plumbing and arranged for Mike to come and look at the job and see if he was interested in doing it. Mike arrived on time and spent about 30 minutes in my crawl space looking at what needed to be done and then another 30 minutes speaking to me about the work that was done and what would need to be done to complete the job. This was on a Saturday. He told me he could do the job and would call me on Monday to give me a price for the job. I didn't get a call on Monday or Tuesday from Mike so I decided to call him on Wednesday. When I called, Mike answered and said he was on a job, but had the paperwork for my job at home and told me he would call me that night with the price for the job. Wednesday night came and went and I never heard from MIke. Thursday and Friday passed by and I still didn't get a call from Navesink Plumbing. Call me stubborn, but I called Mike on Saturday and got his voice mail, left him a message telling him if he wasn't interested in doing the job just give me a call back and I'll look for someone else. Never heard from him. Totally unprofessional. The ironic part of this is what led me to call him was the good reviews he received on Angie's List.

I originally spoke with Mike to discuss a hot water tank issue. He said he would be in the area the following week and to give him a call when I was available. Unfortunately, my work didn't allow me an opportunity that week in early December. Since that point, I have called Mike multiple times. I have left messages, texts and received no response.

Came out promptly and fixed issue with toilet very quickly and expertly. Have used Navesink Plumping in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

I had a minor leak in a refrig. water pipe. I called Mike and asked him if he could come over to repair it, this was on Saturday. He said he is booked and that he could come over on Wed. I told him I was going away tomorrow for a few days. He said he would try and make it today and he would call. Later that afternoon he told me he could not make it today. So I told him to book Wed for me and I would get some to dump the water in the bucket I had under the leak. He asked what time I was going away tomorrow. I told him and it was pretty early. He told me he would come over before I leave and fix the leak. Mike came over early Sunday and fixed the leak. The job was done very well and he was very professional. If I ever needed a plumber again he would be the one I'd call.

Based on great reviews, I called to have a plumber come out an inspect a faucet that was extending out from my house. As new homeowners, we wanted to make sure we weren't going to have any major problems with the pipe/faucet freezing in the cold weather. I called Mike to setup an appointment for the following week. He had called me back later in the day to ask if the plumber could come out an hour earlier than planned, which was no problem. Joe arrived right on time and couldn't be more pleasant to deal with. He explained what he saw and told us we weren't in harms way. Plus he offered some good suggestions for the future. I would use this company again for any plumbing needs!

Mike returned my initial inquiry call promptly, and gave me an estimate over the phone. He dropped by at my convenience to check on the installation locations and to confirm the estimate. Since we needed the kitchen sink immediately after the new countertop was installed, he was great about getting one of his men to our house right after the countertop installers left. The next week, they worked around my schedule and changed our water heater and main valve during the later afternoon. Mike is a total pleasure to work with--extremely professional and knowledgeable. His pricing is extremely fair--a rare find for a plumber who is so accommodating about schedule!
