My house was destroyed by Sandy in 2012. I contacted Mike of Navesink Plumbing in 2013. With red tape, insurance, raising the house etc. resoration work only could begin in the winter of 2014.

All previous plumbing, gas lines etc were removed. When I saw the beginning of all of the new installations, I was so impressed. There is incredible attention to detail. The quality of work is superior. Workers are professional.Work was done on schedule. Everything we expected was completed even though we live at a distance.

 As this house nears completion with all new plumbing, heating and AC, I cannot say enough to thank them. I recommend them as the best!

Mike beat all the competition in price!  Within 2 week after my initial call, my new hot water heater was installed in the basement.  Work was performed in a timely manner by an extremely pleasant, efficient, and competent team.  He answered all my questions..even drew a diagram as to why my old heater was failing.   Upon completion, the work area was thoroughly cleaned.  Mike and his crew are the very BEST!!

The water heater was not working. I found Navesink Plumbing & Heating on Angie's List, and gave a call. Michael picked up the phone, and I was able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. He showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem (a blown circuit breaker), remedied it, and did not charge for the call. This is a rental property, I was not there, so it would have been pretty easy to sell me something I didn't need, but he didn't. You just don't find that kind of service and integrity every day. When it is time to replace the water heater, I know who to call.

Perfectly. Joe came and tried to clear the clog.  He diagnosed it correctly as an issue with a 30 year old toilet.  Mike and Joe helped me to select and replace the toilet.  Joe even looked at the consumers reports reviews with me and helped me analyze their ratings.  We made what I think is a really good choice.  I LOVE the new Kohler Wellworth, ADA complaint elongated toilet. 
Joe is really personable and friendly.  He cleaned up really well and made sure I was happy before he left..
I won't use anyone other than Mike and Joe going forward.  Our next project is to replace the bathroom sink!

They were quick and cleaned up well.  The new pipes were so nice I wanted to take a picture.  Everything seems to be working fine.

I joined Angie's list exclusively because I had a leak on my kitchen ceiling and I needed to find a great and reasonable contractor to fix this leak. I'm so glad Angie's list connected me with Navesink Plumbing. Mike, the owner, came to my house, looked at everything and gave me a price and time estimate for the job. I also needed to replace a 10 year old waste disposal. He recommended a good Insinkerator. I end up preferring to buy from him, as he gets directly from the plumbing supplier at the same price as home depot.



Joe came here at the scheduled time, carrying my brand new Insinkerator, to do the job. He's just awesome! Very knowledgeable in what he does. When he left, no mess whatsoever. He's extremely careful and clean. He had to cut a whole on my kitchen ceiling to fix the leak. When he left, everything was clean. Even under the sink, where he replaced a very rusted waste disposal. I felt he was doing work in his own house.



My next project is to replace my water heater. I'm definitively hiring Navesink Plumbing to do the job.

Joe came out to the house to replace two toilets. He was on time, made sure nothing got damaged and made sure the place was as clean as he found it. Very happy with the work.

They were very professional, diagnosed the problem, informed me of cost and options for repair. They explained there wok and fixed the problem as promised expeditiously. This is my second time using this company and I am very satisfied with there work, and work ethics. I would recommend them to my friends.

Wow! Best experience ever. Fast professional service. Super friendly and personable. Now I can understand the previous  reviewer  who wrote about her "delicate tub" and how pleased she was! Used care and precision in extracting our 20 year old leaky cartridge. Price was great for such professional work.

He explained everything and said that we would need a new bowl and what it would cost to install. I will definitely  use him to install the toilet and have some other small plumbing projects that I will also give him to do. I tried calling at least 5 business on Angie's list. 3 did not return calls and one could not do it that day. He had to travel over a 1/2 hour to come to my home and he was on time.

evening that same day if it was ok with me.

Joe was right on time and did a great job.  He showed me things that were causing problems and explained them before repair.  He ended up being at the house most of the day and was hustling the entire time.  The best thing was that Mike called a couple days after the job was done to make sure we were happy with everything.  We will definitely think of them again.

Called to have a bathroom tub/shower faucet fixed as we could not get hot water.  Mike was immediately responsive and was able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days.  He was completely professional, friendly and knew immediately how to fix the problem.  It was a minor fix but I would definitely use Mike again for any of our plumbing needs!  This guy was great!!

Excellent service. After Sandy Hurricane damages, we passed all plumbing inspections easily. Mike bought plumbing parts for us so we could have the advantage of his plumbers professional discount. Timely, courteous, professional, did a great job. Very fair price, compared to other after-Sandy estimates. Would definitely call him again. Long Branch city inspector seemed to think highly of him also.

They were able to fix the delicate tub and I was satisfied with the service.  I liked that they ere able to come out right away, that was great. He came out on a Sunday, which was terrific and he did not charge extra. I stayed on top of him to learn how the repair was done which did not bother him. He was good and explained to me what the problem was and potential problems. I had done some research and knew what kind of tub that I had and he went out and bought the parts before he got here so he would not have to do that later. He was very efficient in the use of his time.

"Joe" came to the house and he was great.  After looking at each problem we had he described in detail what was wrong and what he was going to do to correct the problem.  He also showed us the damaged parts and the new ones he was installing.  At one point there was a particular part that he didn't have in the truck and he ran out to the store to buy it and came right back and continued with the job.  Joe also cleaned up afterward.  Would definitely recommend Joe.

Mike was the best- from the time I called until the installation was finished. He was friendly,professional and neat. I would only  use him again! He answers his calls right away,comes out as soon as possible and gets the job done in a timely manner.

I had a gas leak that was very hard to detect and even harder to determine the exact location.  NJNG told me they were stumped and to call a plumber to find the leak and fix.  I'm a new homeowner and was honestly, very overwhelmed by the situation.  I found Navesink Plumbing & Heating on Angie's List and they were very responsive and helpful in explaining the process and price.  I immediately felt comfortable with them and made an appointment for 8am the next morning.  Not only were they on time, they arrived early -- something that unfortunately, you don't see very often.  
These guys were pros -- they quickly found the leak and got to work on fixing the problem, which turned out to be very difficult bc the leak was at the connection to my main fuel line that was hidden not only behind cabinets but also behind a wall stud.  They offered to bring in a contractor to properly remove the cabinets so as not to damage them but I ended up opting for a faster solution, which was for them to very carefully cut through the inside of the cabinet and adjoining wall to access the pipe.  I know this is not ideal but given my specific situation, I opted for this rather than waiting without gas for at least another day.  I am so happy we went this route.  They took such care when making the cut that you will no one will ever even notice it unless you go looking inside my cabinet near the bottom.  Once they got through to the pipe, they were able to quickly make the repair and then performed a 5-hour air pressure test to make sure there were no additional leaks.  Once I passed, they went the extra mile and applied some sort of spray paint to all the outside fixtures to avoid rust and so the pipes all matched the outside meter components.
I can not say enough positive things about Mike and his team.  They took the time to explain everything, were incredibly thorough, stayed under budget and even cleaned up after themselves!  This is the only plumbing company I will ever use.

Great job done by Navesink Plumbing installing piping at my house.  Job done very quickly and so far it is working just fine.
