CBR & Re-Bath Solutions of NJ & DE

Don’t believe their “done in one day” slick marketing hype. We were promised that for our small shower stall replacement. It’s been a month since they started work and it’s still not done. No ceiling trim. No shower doors. Don’t expect them to follow your instructions on placement of shelves or grab bars either. Apparently cleaning up their mess also isn’t a priority. I’ll update this review in two more weeks if things are finally done but I’m not holding my breath. Not only would I never use them again, but I’ll no longer shop at their parent company Home Depot.

It went well until we had a house fire in the next room. It was only then that we found out the melting point of the materials used was so low that nearly every part of the wall and shower (opposite wall where fire happened) had melted. Our insurance would not pay more than $9000 to restore the bathroom. That was when we realized we had been charged far too much for their remodel of the bathroom.

They did a really good job.  But I did not see that they are advertised on the television.   The job was nice but it was not exactly what we wanted but it worked for us.

While the sales person was nice and helpful, the sales process was long - over 2 hours to present what CBR Re-Bath does. A couple videos and selling of the company were included.  While their enclosure materials seemed durable and came in a number of colors and styles, it wasn't the look we wanted.  So we worked with them on quoting a tile job - unfortunately, their tile selection is limited.  On top of the $11,600 quoted (labor, tub, tile), the price increased for tearing up the old floor, electrical, floor trim and other add-ons.  This was on top of us supplying the cabinets, tops, fixtures and accessories.  
Ended up using another contractor for much less.  The one advantage Re-Bath provided was a quick install (estimated to be one week) or about half the time of the contractor I hired.  But our contractor is doing everything including painting.

They were okay. I would probably use them again.

The job went very well. Two installers did the job. It took approx. 6 hrs from start to finish. We could not be happier with our shower. Quality materials and craftsmanship.

My overall experience with them was great. I got a quote from another provider and they matched the quote. They came in and did it in half the time the other provider had quoted me would take to do it. The job has been three years now and it is holding up well.

Am sure they are A rating but cannot confirm.

The work done was professional, the workers were always on time, always kept me informed, asked for imput before installation to make certain I got the product I wanted. I can highly recommend this company. With great confidence

the salesman told us the outside corners could be finished the way we wanted them only to be told by the installer that they could not since the wrapped corners were too close.  The two installers were neat, clean and did do a professional job; however, I did call the company to express my disappointment and the corners finished the way they had to be finished wasn't what we were told.  They did refund $300.00....   The  List Price   7,040.00  Less a (supposedly) discount of 854.00 bringing the price down to $6,186.00  less $300 refund.
On June 27, 2013 (not even a year old) we informed them that there was a Caulking Problem.  They sent someone out to correct the problem.
We need another bathroom tub and shower done but, $6,000.00 is way too much.

The old bathtubs were stained and ugly.  they now look like brand new tubs and it is 3 years later

Everything turned out well.  The installation crew did excellent work for a competitive price, customized everything on site, and followed through on its commitments.  Furthermore, they did a great job of removing the tub considering that the bathroom was quite small.

Worked outside the home to finish some details and then came in with finished product to install - this kept a lot  of debris outside the home and that was all cleaned up outside when it was complete

Re-Bath markets itself as a Low Cost alternative to bathroom remolding. They basically use a plastic type product in lieu of real tiles, and use the same product as an over lament on your bath tub. With this in mind you would assume that the product would be of a lower cost than traditional tiling or replacement of your bath tub. A sales person will come to your house, take measurements and then show you a presentation that will take over an hour to show you and then ask you which colors and types of "tiling" you would like in your new bathroom. They will then show you the cost of a similar remodel but with authentic tile and bathroom replacement. They will say they are saving you over 20% with their custom application and product. They will even finance you. The sale person was a nice person and Re-Bath was punctual and showed up when they said they would. HOWEVER, the actual product they use is sub standard to the real deal tile or new bath tub and the price was the same as quoted by a general contractor. We had a small bathroom, 7 x 10 and the price quoted was over $12,000. The offer they make you is only good for the day they come out to see you. Don't tell him you want to think about it because he will pressure you and tell you the price could change tomorrow. Do your research, they have dozen of complaints about the workmanship and the product. My wife and I did the work ourselves and it cost us $3500, which was a total gut job, new sub floors, new tub, new plumbing, new tile floor, new toilet, new sink and vanity, new fixtures, the works. All Re-Bath was doing was gluing fake tiles over our existing ones, placing a tub surround and a tub over lay. They would also tile the floor for us, but nothing else. FOR $12,000.



BEST PURCHASE MY WIFE AND I NEVER MADE. We still talk about it today, about how we dodged a bullet with this company.
