I was told after paying the $95.00 for the estimate I would receive the total estimate in two weeks, several weeks had gone by and I was told the paper work got lost in the shuffle. I was told they would follow up and I would receive a phone call, however this never happened on several occasions. I felt as if I was being brushed off and my business didn't matter to them.
Eventually by mid January I called to have my estimate payment returned to me and I was told I would receive it in the mail in 3-4 days. I never received the refund, I called again and was given another excuse (manager was sick).. I still haven't received the refund..
I'm disgusted with the way I've being treated by this company!
A grade A service would have been honoring an already scheduled appointment time, rather than scheduling emergencies and then rescheduling confirmed service appointment.
"We provided the customer with a full proposal outlining the work needed to totally restore the woodstove/fireplace/chimney. The customer decided to only some of the recommended repairs even though we suggested that all work be completed to insure a proper restoration of their system. The customer chose not to have any of the exterior/waterproofing work completed and only have a new insert/stove and liner installed. We cautioned them as to the fact that there would still be a water leakage problem, however, the customer stated that they would have that work completed in the future. We received a call from the customer the following year. Customer stated that the chimney leaked and caused rusting on the new stove and she wants it replaced. We then pulled her records and saw that she refused to have the waterproofing/chimney cap/exterior work performed and once again explained to her as to why she still had a water/moisture problem with here chimney. Sent the foreman out to confirm what we already suspected. Customer then decided to still only have some of the exterior work performed, plus, we refinished the exterior of her stove as a courtesy to her at no charge! We then received another call regarding the chimney still leaking water and once again suggested that the remaining work be performed Customer was mistaken, thinking that she paid for the installation of the ventubes and waterproofing, when she actually only contracted to have a chimney cap installed. After going over our original contract with the customer, she then finally agreed to have all recommended work completed and has not had a problem , to our knowledge, since then. Had the customer contracted us to perform all of the original recommended work, there would not have been a problem. She decided to have the work completed in a "piece meal" type of way and blamed our company for her problems as a result from her not contracting us to provide her with all the necessary work needed."
