Green Power Energy

If we buy another house we will use them again, and we will recommend them to our friends. They are just overall very responsive. Whatever questions we have they make sure they answer promptly and in details. And whatever concern we have, we can reach them and they can work it out with us. But yeah, we're very satisfied with them.

From start to finish, Green Power Energy was professional in all aspects of the project. Our sales contact, Christine Schneider, explained all aspects of the project and was always available by phone or email to answer questions along the way. The solar array was installed and completed in the fall and our first electric bill showed how valuable the installation was as the total bill for that month was $4.04, and that was just the service charge.

Green Power Energy was amazing to work with! Tim and the whole team were professional from start to finish. The installation team was polite and respectful in our home. Everything they said they were gong to do, they did and on time. If you are considering solar for your home or business, this is the company!

Status update two years plus later: still very happy. The system performs well, and has needed no additional maintenance. We communicate every several months or so with the GPE staff. They have sold our SRECs for us; again, very professional and efficient. We report our production to GPE monthly; they batch the SRECs as appropriate, sell them, and send us the check. Very happy customer. If I needed to increase the system, or install a new one at a different site, I would definitely use GPE again.

Everything went smoothly. There were no surprises or glitches.

My experience with Green Power Energy could not have gone more smoothly. The project manager met with me to review design options and helped me pick a financing plan that made sense for my budget. He was extremely responsive via phone and email and had an answer for any questions that I had. The project manager submit all of the necessary paperwork to the state, town, and utility in order to get my project approved. He took care of all of the permitting and was able to work around my schedule. The install team was professional, punctual, and very skilled at their jobs. All of the material and equipment arrived on the day that it was needed so I did not have to store anything. They had no issue working with the town inspectors and everything passed on the first try. I got to know the team pretty well over the 10 day install and was sad to see them go. After the install was complete, the project manager walked me through the system operation and showed me how to claim and cash in my SRECs. My solar array is performing as advertised (maybe even a little better) and I have not had an electric bill since we turned it on. I would highly recommend GPE to anyone looking to go solar.

Excellent start to finish.  Process was done professionally from design to permitting to installation.  Very quick and hassle free.  The system performs perfectly and without any problems whatsoever.  I believe it to be among the best investments I have ever made.

a few weeks ago we had our final inspection and everything went well.  We could not be more delighted with the entire experience.  From the initial sales meetings, with Andrew, all the way through to the final inspection, with Stash.   Thank you all for your professionalism.  

I would be remiss if I did not say something extra about Christian and his team, Jesse and Nick.  They were spectacular, you should be very proud of them.  I had tons of questions and they all took the time to answer them.  Christian walked me around the project, numerous times, explained what everything was, what they were doing and why.  He never got impatient, even when I asked the same questions.  He would call me after hours to let me know when they would be there the next day and kept me in the loop the entire time, a true pro.  Jesse and Nick took the time to show me the inverters and explain why we were using them and where they went.  It was truly a pleasurable experience.

Green Power Energy installed my solar system in 2012.  They did a great job presenting all the options we had for going solar and explained the benefits.  It was a no brainer for us to go solar because we had recently moved into our home.  They handled all of the permits and approvals for the system, and they kept us updated along the way.  The installation of the system took less than a week and the installation team was clean, professional and courteous.  There was some noise from the people working on the roof but that is to be expected.  I really appreciated that the installers asked for my approval on everything they were doing on the roof.  I got to choose how we wanted the panels laid out on the roof and how they got the wires down to the basement electrical room.  

The Green Power Energy system has been working well for us for almost 4 years now.  We are saving a lot on our electric bills and get money from SRECs just for making solar power.  I was told by our energy consultant that the system would be maintenance-free and there has been no maintenance on the system at all.  The system just keeps making electricity.
