We had an excellent experience with GPE from start to finish. Without exception, everyone involved in the project was knowledgeable, efficient, and skilled. Best of all, there were no glitchy handoffs as we moved through the process. Whether we were working with Austin on initial plans for capacity and panel placement or Patrick on payments or Julie on the details of materials delivery or Kevin on understanding our fully installed system, the communication was clear and they kept everything on track. GPE also has very good email updates about all the permitting that they handle on your behalf, and they make sure you have a long-term contact to continue answering your questions after the system is up and running. Bottom line: GPE made our transition to solar way, way easier than we ever expected. We're glad not to be wasting the sun that hits our roof anymore. And we love our electric bills now.

I used Green Power Energy for my solar system. The sales team (AJ was my representative) was very informative, answered all of my questions, and was very honest with me. I signed contracts at the end of September and my system was online almost to the date of their timeline they provided. It was seamless on my end, as they handled all of the paperwork and permits. And the monitoring system is very user-friendly.

Green Power Energy made working with them easy from the initial proposal, which was very competitive, through the approval process, installation, and followup. They arrived when promised for the property survey as well as installation. The installers cleaned up carefully after themselves and any schedule slips were due to township inspection and utility replacing the meter so system could be turned on. I was very pleased.

Everyone knows working with contractors can become a headache. So you can imagine how surprised I was when working with green power was anything but! The post sales experience with green power was phenomenal. The office staff runs like a well oiled machine. They took care of all the paperwork and logistics and kept me thoroughly updated in the process. If I had any questions or concerns they were quick to respond. When installation day came, the crew they sent were professional and worked fast! I couldn’t be happier! The support didn’t stop there. A smooth timely installation of 27 panels on my roof. All the people I emailed, talked to and installers are very professional, responsive and patient. They answered all my questions as well as there was a follow up calls, email going back and forth even after the full payment and completion of installation. GPE provided a very professional pre-sale, design, installation, and post-install (e.g., grid interconnect) service. They listened during the pre-sale process, considered our plans to add a heat pump system into the solar design. While this may seem unremarkable, there were other solar contractors that did not listen. Our roof has multiple surfaces and the GPE panel placement made logical sense, whereas with others we had concerns. The pre-sale onsite survey was very through. All the local permitting, utility interconnect, and state SREC-II paperwork was professionally handled by GPE. The Neon Black LG panels are great looking and blend nicely with our charcoal-colored shingles. We love the panel-level system monitoring provided by the Enphase micro-inverters.

I had a wonderful experience with Green Power Energy, and can't believe how much energy I'm producing now. They were straightforward with the sales process, gave a great price, worked with me with all my customization requests, handled a bunch of hiccups with ease, and got me to the finish line. The whole process of going solar isn't easy, of course, due to all the permits and approvals and unique nuances of your particular house, so having a strong team throughout is critical, and they nail it.

Beginning to end, proposal to completion, installation of solar panels on house and garage was done professionally. I especially appreciated the timely and easy communications with project advisors who addressed any concerns that I had. After deciding to go with solar we reached out Green Power Energy and I have to say that from start to finish, it was an extremely pleasurable experience. My conversations with Nick Caggiano (who set everything up) were great because he really explained everything to me in a way that I was able to understand and I really appreciate that. The scheduling and installing were a breeze. They came when they were scheduled, they were very professional and had everything up in a few hours. Green Power did all the paperwork that needed to be submitted to my town as well as my electric company so that was a headache I didn't even need to worry about. And then when the system was up and running we had a meeting with Kevin Nally who was great. He too explained the entire system to my wife and I so that we could monitor our system and know exactly what we were looking at. He also sent us step by step instructions and pictures that were also a tremendous help. All in all, the entire process was fantastic and if anyone has been hesitant about going solar, I would HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Green Power Energy.

We were planning to get Solar Panels installed on our house. We spoke to multiple vendors and finally decided to go with Green Power Energy (GPE) for our installation as they were very truthful in their estimates, clearly told us what we were getting with various options and no confusing sales pitch. There are various things to consider in a solar installation: post installation warranty, roof warranty, maintenance, etc -- all of which were factors where GPE came in right at the top as they are a one stop shop - this was the main reason we contracted with GPE. Another highlight of this company is that you work with one representative (in our case it was Sonny Labrunda - who is the best) from start (contract signing) to finish (connecting to the grid) with an average expected time of 4 months (which is exactly what happened in our case). Right from the beginning to end, GPE kept us informed about the progress of the application, permits, delivery, installation and inspection dates. I must say that their communication via email was excellent. On the day of the installations and inspections, a GPE representative was on site, and ensured that the inspection process with the township went off smoothly. They also made sure that they cleaned up and left no debris on site. Our township inspectors (they are very strict) passed all the various stages of installation on the very first attempt - which talks a lot about the quality of workmanship that GPE has in it's installers. We finally had a post installation meeting where we were walked through how to monitor the power generation through an app and what we needed to do with our utility company. Overall, GPE is an excellent company to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering Solar panel installation.

I selected Green Power Energy based on 4 quotes from different vendors provided via EnergySage. GPE's pricing was very good, and I liked that GPE was the only vendor willing to quickly adjust their estimate based on my preferences on size and panel placing. They were very open about advantages and disadvantages of how to put solar on my roof, which I liked a lot. After signing the contract, their customer service was generally very attentive to my requests. Unfortunately, it took ages for getting all permits - mostly caused by COVID and issues on the township side, but I felt that GPE could've pushed more as well. Despite that my overall experience with GPE was great and I would clearly recommend GPE as a partner to anyone.

The process was long and took about 4 months from signup to power up. Many of the steps in the process were out of the control of Green Power Energy’s, but they did call or emailed the statuses along the way. I found them easy to work with and also answered my many questions to help ease my mind. It was a lot of money to spend and I wanted to make sure that I had made the right choice at every step. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality installation.
