They never communicate with us in regards to how much will cost for the parts, they promised us the refund of the service fee if they can't resolve the issue, that never happen. They would not respond to us in timely manner.

Hired Benchmark to come check out a Bravo washing machine that wasn't working properly and was smelling like it was burning. (Bravo is the worst washing machine ever)The tech, Charley was wonderful, courteous and knowledgeable. Found the problem and advised us that the repair would be very costly.He is currently advising me on the best washer with an agitator and none of those digital controls.I hate these machines.Will never hire another serviceman.

Charlie, the service technician, was courteous, competent and clean. He introduced himself with an handshake, put covers on his shoes, diagnosed our problem, recommended a solution and, upon our agreement, implemented the solution. It doesn't get any better than this.

I had Charlie out to replace a compressor in my refrigerator which was 10 years old at a cost of $900. I decided to replace the compressor as it was located on the 2nd floor and would require a mover to replace with a new fridge. 1 month later it wasn't freezing and Charlie came out and found it was low on coolant. He didn't try to find the leak only recharged the compressor. It worked for another month and then stopped cooling. Charlie came out a 3rd time, recharged the compressor and replaced two caps on the coolant lines. It worked for another month and stopped cooling. Charlie came out and advised me that the compressor had failed. He tried to blame it on the lack of airflow in the area that the refrigerator was installed, and wanted to charge labor to put a new compressor in the refrigerator ($500). I explained that he's full of #$%# because the original compressor lasted for 10 years not 3 months with 3 service calls. Charlie agreed to replace the compressor free of charge and that's when the fun began. I was advised that the new compressor would take 7 to 10 business days to arrive. I got a call after 7 business days that the compressor arrived but it was the wrong type and it would take another 7 to 10 business days to arrive. 7 business day later I got a call that they compressor was not in stock anywhere and it had to be ordered from the manufacture and would be another 7 to 10 business days. 8 day later I got a call that compressor was still back ordered and would take another 7 to 10 business days. 1 hour later I got a call from a different person saying that the compressor arrived and scheduled the repair 3 days out. Charlie never showed up and I called the next day and they said the compressor just arrived that day. They scheduled the repair 3 days later. Charlie came to the house and decided to do a leak test on the refrigerator prior to installing the compressor which would last 24 hours. He came back the next day and no leak was detected and unboxed the compressor for installation. It was damaged in shipment and couldn't be used, a new compressor needed to be ordered. They ordered a new compressor which came in 7 days and scheduled the appointment for 10/19/18 as the first call with an 8 am to 12 noon window. 1 pm came and no arrival, I called and was advised he would be there around 4 pm. 4 PM arrived and he never showed up. I called at 5:30 pm livid and he agreed to come the next morning at 9 am. He replaced the compressor and it's been cooling. However, the fridge was digging as if the door was left open. He didn't install the door switch correctly. I wasn't home and Charlie left without correcting this issue. The refrigerator dings constantly and have called them back to correct this issue. It's now been 8 weeks since the compressor failed and the repair is still not finished. This company has serious issues with it's communication and management of service parts. Charlie is an okay guy and apologetic but that doesn't fix my

Charlie was great, responding to my problem on a Sunday. There was a little glitch on his second visit. Someone at the company told me a technician would be here 12-4, but Charlie's appointment schedule stated 2-6.

I had already diagnosed the problem with my Kenmore Elite Clothes Dryer as being an issue with the motor. I was hoping that something was jammed up preventing the dryer from working correctly. I did not want to get into doing it myself in case there were any issues with the pulley, etc. Charlie came on a Thursday afternoon and determined that it was in fact a problem with the motor and was able to order the part and came to the house on Sunday morning and install the new motor. Charlie did an excellent job replacing the motor, vacuuming out the inside and cleaned up the entire area around the dryer. Would definitely recommend "Charlie" for any appliance repair needed.

"Charlie"did a good job - responded to my call for service and kept me informed of his progress in getting to our home. He immediately diagnosed our refrigerator's problem and reported he would track down a replacement part, if not in stock in their shop. He had an OEM replacement shipped to him and he installed it within 24 hours. Good job!

In todays world, we have to go by word of mouth. I would surely recommend Benchmark Appliance; we were having refrigerator problems and they were the only company that came the same day. The technician was above and beyond amazing.... ask for Charlie :) He even put the shoe covers on (raining) and was very conscious about taking care of our problem with with a caring attitude and was very knowledgeable.
